## Microsoft Publisher Reviews
  ### 1. Good for brochures

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

How you can organise and format detailed information to look more appealing

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Templates can be quite limiting and designing one difficult

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Consider stakeholders. If they want a detailed information more than PowerPoint then use Publisher.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gauging and getting commitment from stakeholders

  ### 2. Great outlet for creating visual displays

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I really like the many templates you can pull up on Publisher. Admittedly, I'm not the best with design. The templates make processes easy, but they are fully customizable so everything will not be cooker cutter copies. It's a quick way to throw together a bulletin or mailing without a great deal of time spent.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Sometimes it can be a little difficult to edit text on templates due to layering of other text or photos. You have to move whatever you are clicking on that's getting in the way to the back layer, and bring the text to the top layer. There may be ways around this, but for those of us who aren't as advanced, I think easier edits would be a plus.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

I would work to make the templates a bit more user friendly. Sometimes it's difficult to edit text or photos or move things around without it offsetting other images or text.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Microsoft Publisher in a number of capacities. I can use this to create mailings, and it's just a matter of a quick print. I have also used this to create Newsletters. I have had zero training in graphic design, but with these templates, you can make a basic newsletter fairly easy. I have also used this product when trying to create a quick flyer to send out via email. You can create it and convert to PDF, which is a benefit.

  ### 3. I love Publisher

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LaTrice W. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I love the options available when designing newsletters and booklets.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Nothing. I haven't found anything that I don't like about the program.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

  ### 4. Simple design software

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

Publisher is not difficult to learn, nor is it difficult to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I feel the publisher is limited when it comes to the quality of graphic design that can be produced using the software.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Designing flyers and forms to fill out is easier to do in publisher rather than a more complex design software.

  ### 5. Microsoft publisher powerful tool and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jane J. | IT Professional, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

Microsoft Publisher helps me create outstanding graphics with powerful but easy to learn tools. The integral features can be accessed through a simple interface.
You have options for bulk or batch actions to reduce the time spent on self-publishing tasks. Images can also be exchanged and enhanced using a variety of special effects.
Since Publisher is offered in the Microsoft Office Professional package, it integrates seamlessly with other applications of the IT giant.

Images can be imported and exchanged from one side to another by a simple drag and drop motion, which means that one can experiment with different images without having to take too much time. Photos from Facebook and Flickr albums can also be copied directly to a Publisher file using a quick integrated search. With the program's built-in advanced effects for texts, photos and shapes, even novice users can generate professional-looking designs.

I do not need to worry about saving and sharing files. The documents of the editor are automatically saved in the cloud. Teams can also collaborate on multiple files easily with simple attributes to share.

Also with Publisher, pages can be saved in common image formats, such as JPEG. This means that publications or photo albums can be printed much faster compared to the types of complicated files that can only be opened and printed with limited programs.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I have more than 5 years using this great tool that is publisher and until now I have no complaints about its operation, it is excellent, easy and fulfills its function.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

If you need to design any type of brochure or document, this tool is easy to use, even for those who have no experience. You can save documents such as JPEG, PDF or other versions and then print or publish online. I have used Publisher for years and I am happy with my experience.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publisher is ideal for work because I can create newsletters, office posters, depression cards, postcards along with a lot of other useful projects. There are many templates that give you project ready to use.

  ### 6. excellent program that has helped me a lot.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonatan Jose A. | Guardia Nacional, Military, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

is an excellent program, thanks to microsoft we can be part of these great advantages, it allows me to do countless tasks such as: create calendars, brochures, diplomas, newsletters, curriculum, royulos, newsletters, letterheads, envelopes, invitations, catalagos, flyers, almanacs , among others, really this application can not be missing on any computer.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

is essential, the only thing I could mention is that it does not have a guided tour, that is to say that all the functions you should learn with practice and not with any operator that can guide you, but the truth is not a counter as such, and which is so easy to use that it is not needed. there you can see the models of each creation that you want and you are only replacing the data.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us when making the work schedule, or brochures for the public, it is very good, thanks to its templates.

  ### 7. Publisher for Community College Library

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

For non-online design, publisher makes producing flyers, brochures, and other promotional material relatively easy. If you are familiar with any other office products it cuts the learning curve quickly and allows you to create reasonably decent looking pieces, especially if you're going for a simpler approach.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Publisher is a bit of a relic and if the designer isn't careful, the end product may look like something from days gone by. The graphics the most recent publisher uses as the default are outdated at best. I would like to see more active work done with publisher to bring it into a modern era of design.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

There are plenty of alternatives that will likely be easier to tease a good design from but if you need something and your company already subscribes to microsoft office, this is a very good option!

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When Canva is too limited (size/cost) it's easy enough to go to publisher to get larger scale works created that we can send to the printers.

  ### 8. Publisher is awesome

**Reviewed by:** Roxana P. | Especialista de Administracion de Personal, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

Microsoft Publisher I like it because it is a Microsoft desktop publishing application; additional is considered as a beginner or entry-level program, which differs from the Microsoft Word word processor in that it emphasizes the design and layout of the pages, more than in the process and correction of texts, I also like Microsoft Publisher because it is a program that provides a simple editing history similar to that of its sister product Microsoft Word, but unlike Adobe InDesign and Adobe InCopy.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I do not like Microsoft Publisher is that its rapport with other programs on the market, is not professional, and can not be compared to the result of the work of a graphic design expert who uses programs such as Photoshop and Corel, but it is quite good for the user common, it also takes a lot to be such a simple, simple and easy program.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

My recommendation for Microsoft Publisher for other potential clients, is that publisher is easy to learn and manage, and can help entrepreneurs, managers and workers to create and publish professional quality marketing and sales materials for commercial printing, emails or publication on the Internet, and everything from the familiar environment of Office, it is enough to have used Word, Microsoft PowerPoint or other Office programs before so that users can quickly learn to work with Publisher and use the appropriate Office tool for each task, saving time By reusing the work, you can create custom publications from a database, simplifying the process of creating publications with Office Publisher tasks.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the organization Microsoft Publisher can help the small business to promote its business, keep us in contact with customers and get other new customers, build a solid and professional business identity, Publisher was easy to learn and manage, and helps entrepreneurs , managers and employees to create and publish professional quality marketing and sales materials for commercial printing, e-mail or Internet publishing, and everything from the familiar office environment, we used Word, Microsoft PowerPoint or other Office programs before and I help quickly manage the Microsoft Publisher tool and use the appropriate Office tool for each task.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

For several years now I have been working with this program, which has allowed me to easily carry out my work through information sheets, among others. Publisher has given me the option to use ready-made models, which I have been editing easily. For several years now I have been working with this program, which has allowed me to easily carry out my work through information sheets, among others. Publisher has given me the option to use ready-made models, which I have been editing easily. Another very good aspect is that it simplifies the process of creating publications with Office Publisher tasks and saves time when you reuse the work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

A disadvantage that I have been observing is that the rapport with other programs in the market is not very professional, and can not be compared with the result of the work of a graphic design expert who uses programs such as photoshop among others.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

I recommend this work tool, Publisher offers the alternative of using ready-made models, which are easily edited, or preparing the work by starting with a blank page.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The implementation in my company has been very useful, from connecting with clients by personalizing the publications included in this program to converting the publications to different format

  ### 12. Page Layout and Design for the Microsofter

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It has a great number of tools to use for your page design and layout. It is not as expensive as other similar software. It is intuitive for people who are used to using the Microsoft office products. It is also not over complicated.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I do not necessarily push the limits of what it is capable of doing, but I have had colleagues of mine who are familiar with other publishing tools say that it is limited in the different tools compared to other programs like Adobe.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Continue coming up with templates and allow for easy modification to them to fit the differing/various needs of the user.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 13. Microsoft Publisher: The ideal program for executives without much knowledge about graphic design.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhonny Alberto M. | Ejecutivo de ventas, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I can highlight many positive things about Microsoft Publisher, one of them is undoubtedly its simple and quite intuitive interface, it really is a program that does not have to envy any aspect of more advanced graphic design programs, the simple design of its interface allows even people who do not have solid knowledge about the subject of graphic design to develop a large number of high level publications such as business cards, calendars, brochures, diplomas, newsletters, resumes, posters, fact sheets, letterheads, envelopes, business forms, invitations, catalogs, brochures, calendars up to advertisements in general.
Microsoft Publisher has a series of tools that are very easy to use and it is characterized by being very intuitive allowing any professional or employee who does not have a great specialization in graphic design to develop exceptional works, one of the things that are worth highlighting of the program is its large number of templates designed by default bread basket that greatly facilitate the work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Microsoft Publisher is not a program that has many disadvantages but among these we find that the publications designed with the program are often considered to be home-made and unprofessional, although these may seem professional in appearance they are very often not considered as such, because the ease with which any type of user works with this software makes it a target of contempt on the part of professional designers, in addition to the fact that the predesigned templates are of a simple type and not very impacting, aspect that prevents the user from being able to give a touch say staff preventing comparisons with the result of the work of a graphic design expert who uses a more professional type programs, but despite all this is a program that offers very satisfactory results although some call it "simple".

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Microsoft Publisher is a program that I recommend with closed eyes to professionals of all branches not only as an entry program in the field of graphic design, but as an important ally that allows to produce high level publications easily.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can attest that thanks to Microsoft Publisher I have solved a lot of inconveniences in my work, thanks to the program I have been able to elaborate from brochures, newsletters, letters, business cards and other advertising contents to use at the moment or store to be used later.
Thanks to its simple interface, it can be used both by professional designers and by people who do not have a solid knowledge in graphic design as it is my case, without a doubt its predesigned templates and other tools greatly facilitate the work I do and I they allow the development of high-level publications and works.

  ### 24. Decent publishing software but has its limits

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Small Groups Pastor, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It is very easy to use, especially if you use Microsoft Office products. Accessible and intuitive tools for basic publishing needs. I do like how useful it is to create quick and simple flyers or handouts to use for events and others purposes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

It is very limited, graphically. There is not to much int he way original artwork creation with Publisher. If MS could put in the same tools in Publisher that they hav pin PowerPoint, at least that would be helpful. Publisher has always seemed behind other Office products.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

If you can, try out Adobe InDesign. It is WAY more powerful. If you don't have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software, then stick with Publisher.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple team-friendly design and good to use smog office personnel if they don't know how o use best in class tools, such as Adobe InDesign.

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I like the ease of using Publisher, the pictures that are available to add to the current document working on from the internet or clipart saved is an advantage. Copying and paste ability with the clipboard is a plus. Once you start using Publisher, you can use shortcuts from Word. You can copy a document that you created and use as a template. Speaking of templates, there are so many available if you need to compose a newsletter, letter of different styles, business cards, etc. I highly recommend Microsoft Suite.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I cannot think of anything at the moment.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of using Publisher is the templates. This saves me so much time!

  ### 26. Publisher, a simple and practical program

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia S. | Sonia, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I love that there are so many different designs. I don't have any training in graphic design, but even so, I find it easy and it gives you the ability to easily choose the options. I also really like the interface for selecting templates. It's very easy to see what you want and you just have to click on the icon to start. It's also fantastic that anything I create can be saved as a PDF. I also like the "My Templates" folder because it helps me keep track of what I've used in the past if I need to produce similar publications.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

There is no way (or at least I haven't been able to find a way) to edit the border of a page without changing the entire background to a specific color and then placing a text box over that background to create a colored border. Other than that, there's nothing I don't like. I find it very easy to use and self-explanatory, with many options. If there's something I wish Publisher had, it would be a way to build my own image library.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Make a quick online tutorial if you don't have time to explore it on your own. This way you can get an idea of the features it provides.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For employees who do not have enough time/reason to dedicate to learning a design tool like InDesign, Publisher offers them the opportunity to carry out their project with a simple platform, especially for those who do not have design experience.

  ### 27. An easy to use tool to create brochures and signs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It was an easy program to learn and has a lot of features. I have been using it over 10 years and it is my go-to app to create a quick sign.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

It can be a bit clunky, it is not as supported by Microsoft as their other tools, and the output is not as professional as other programs. Adobe does a better job but is much harder to use and learn.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

It is a great, easy to use tool but seems like MS is phasing it out. Maybe with 360 it will have a longer life.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating signs for tradeshows, calendars for the office, brochures, etc.

  ### 28. Great for making flyers, cards, brochures, and posters.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It gives you templates and guides to help you want exactly what you are looking for. You are able to add pictures and decorate it the way you want.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

It sometimes does not always allow you to do everything you want. It is mainly for doing basic designs unlike Photoshop or websites that allow you to have complete control of your design.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

It is good for flyers about events and allows you to put a lot of information onto brochures.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is great for advertising such as flyers by allowing you to have quick and easy flyers to help post them and spread the word faster.

Microsoft Publisher is quick and user friendly. it allows me to develop any quick designs and export them immediately

  ### 30. Using Microsoft Publisher for Client Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

I love that using MS Publisher is like using MS Word. Many tools are the same, which makes moving around in the software very easy and familiar. I love the desktop publishing aspect of MS Publisher. Dropping in images, flowing text, etc.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I have no dislikes about this software. I find it easier to use than MS Word for the work we use.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We find that InDesign is too complex for our staff to work in on a daily basis. We have to have a software that allows our staff the ability to access files, make edits, etc. without the help of our marketing team. MS Publisher solved that issue for us. Because so many people use Word, it was natural for us to use Publisher for our reports, proposals, and other client documents.

This is a great product that can be used in a variety of ways for your organization. Very appealing and innovative product.

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It's very easy to use and can be used for a lot of different projects

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

I don't think it's as slick and user-friendly as InDesign, but for someone with no knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Publisher is probably a better option.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Not a bad product overall for a basic program, but if you need it for more advanced projects I think there are better options available.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't use it very often anymore because I'd rather use InDesign, but I occasionally use it to make signs and templates for newsletters and such.

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

The professional marketing and sales material can help a small business to promote its business, keep in touch with its customers and get new ones, and build a solid and professional business identity. But entrusting other companies with these products is expensive and time consuming, and manufacturing them with a word processor or any other program without design guides or customization options can project an unprofessional image. ### 43. Microsoft Publisher, a program that does not lose validity.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro Z. | Ejecutivo de atención al cliente, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

Publisher is a program that has a simple interface that makes it easy to use, inclusive for people who have no knowledge of the subject in graphic design, is created for the preparation of calendars, brochures, diplomas, newsletters, resumes, signs, information sheets, letterheads, envelopes, business forms, invitations, catalogs, flyers, calendars and announcements in general. The best thing about the program is that thanks to its easy-to-use tools and its ease of use, it can be implemented both by professional designers, as well as by people who do not have a very large specialization in graphic design, since their Templates and tools make it much easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

One of the weak points that Publisher has that offers publications that can be considered only of home type and although they are of professional aspect they are often considered as such, because the ease with which the user works this software, prevents in some way that This shows on the sheet what you really want to design, the clearly pre-designed templates are of perhaps classic taste, this is occasionally not so useful because it prevents the user from giving his personal touch and can not be compared with the result of the work of an expert in graphic design that uses programs of a more specialized type, but in spite of this it offers quite satisfactory results to be a program that could be called simple.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

Publisher is a very simple management application that has tools such as predesigned templates, or downloadable templates that can be obtained for free on the web, which gives it an indispensable character for organizations today.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publisher allows the design of brochures, newsletters, and other advertising content that can be printed later or used directly on the web, by the company. Thanks to its easy-to-use tools and its ease of use, it can be used both by professional designers and by people who do not have a very large specialization in graphic design, since their templates and tools greatly facilitate their use, and allows you to solve a number of problems in terms of graphic design and advertising quickly and effectively.

  ### 45. An old acquaintance in the field of graphic design.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus Alexander G. | Assistant Administrative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

The best thing about this program is its simple and clean interface, but you do not have to envy any more advanced graphic design program, the simple design of its interface allows even employees who are not familiar with the subject of graphic design develop all kinds of publications ranging from calendars, brochures, diplomas, newsletters, resumes, posters, information sheets, letterheads, envelopes, business forms, invitations, catalogs, brochures, calendars to announcements in general.
The program provides easy-to-use tools and is characterized by being very intuitive and can also be used by professional designers as well as by any professional or employee who does not have a great specialization in graphic design, since it has a large number of predesigned templates that greatly facilitate the work.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

One of the weaknesses of the program is that, despite being simple, it can occupy a much larger space than other more advanced programs, it also has little or no migration of documents to some of the most current design programs, without a doubt, is something that should improve the program's shareability, in spite of these little things I have no major complaints about this program because I use it daily in my work and I really consider it a fixed in my job and Its advantages greatly exceed its shortcomings.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

I recommend the Microsoft Publisher with closed eyes not only as an entry program in the field of graphic design but as an ally of great value for the development of all the activities of the company.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can attest that thanks to Microsoft Publisher I have solved a great number of inconveniences at work, the program has allowed me to design brochures, newsletters and other advertising content that can be printed later or used directly on the web, on my own . Thanks to its simple interface and easy-to-use tools, it can be used by professional designers as well as by people who do not have solid knowledge in graphic design, as it is my case, its templates and tools greatly facilitate its use and allow to develop high level jobs.

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

For a simple project, Publisher gives you a lot of options and freedom to create on the computer. It is very user friendly and easy to understand and you can be creative with it and use it for a lot of different applications.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

The simplicity is nice but that also limits some of the things you can do. I think some of the Adobe products give you more options and let you do more but it is a tradeoff for ease of use.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

For an intro level program, this lets you do a lot of things. For a large business, it may not be the best fit, but it is a good basic level product.

**What problems is Microsoft Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it for creating posters and flyers. You can do a lot of things with it and for a small to medium sized business it is great.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Microsoft Publisher?**

It is very easy to design things such as brochures and advertisements. Unlike word, where you put the item (such as picture, text box) it stays and does not move. It makes professional looking documents, and allows us to write manuals and quotes for customers. You can also save documents as PDFs so that they cannot be edited by people.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?**

Not too many people have publisher, so sending your document to someone else to edit can be hard. Some of the templates also do not look professional enough.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Publisher:**

It is a good choice, and low cost compared to other options
