In Word, I usually stick to standard letters and documents, but with Publisher I have much more control over layout and objects. That extra control makes it easier for me to create templates for things like blog posts and marketing materials, and to position everything exactly the way I want. The interface is very easy to use, especially since it feels similar to Word, Excel, and the other Office programs. You can also make cool labels that are colored or include integrated graphics. To really take advantage of those features, though, it helps to have a good printer and enough ink. Overall, I find it works really well for designing and editing brochures, flyers, and similar materials. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Publisher?** The main issue for me is the file type.
