## Microsoft PowerPoint Reviews
 ### 1. Clean, Easy-to-Use PowerPoint with Powerful Templates, Notes, and Slideshow Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourav C. | Information Systems Security - Masters Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

I’ve been using PowerPoint for about a decade now, and the UI is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. It offers lots of features, including text options, diagrams, editing tools, fonts, animations, and more. With the available templates, it’s easy to create professional, formal presentations quickly. Auto adds page numbers and the best slideshow UI I've used so far. Also the notes feature is something which I use a lot.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It still feels the same as it did 10 years ago, with no major UI or feature enhancements. They’ve integrated AI, but it’s not up to the mark, and we still need to use other tools. The templates also don’t feel current, for the latest, updated designs, we have to rely on external templates. It should also have proper web support.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create formal presentations easily and up to the mark. The slideshow and notes are really good features. It’s very simple and easy to use, which makes it possible to put together PPTs even when I’m in a hurry. It's free, secure and easily shareable. Also the signature, convert to other forms like ppt, password protection are helpful features.

 ### 2. Essential Tool for Presentations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susheel Kumar D. | Account and Finance, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

What I like most about PowerPoint is its ability to create professional and visually appealing presentations easily. Features like slide templates, charts, animations, and SmartArt allow me to present complex data clearly. As an Analyst, I use PowerPoint to summarize reports, present insights to management, and communicate trends effectively. Integration with Excel and Teams makes it easy to import charts and collaborate on presentations in real time.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

PowerPoint can be heavy when working with large presentations with many graphics and embedded objects. Advanced animations and transitions require time to learn, and collaboration on a single deck with multiple users sometimes causes version conflicts. File sizes can also become large, making sharing slightly cumbersome at times.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PowerPoint solves the problem of conveying complex data and insights in a visually clear and structured way. Before PowerPoint, preparing presentations was time-consuming and often lacked clarity. With PowerPoint, I can turn raw data into slides with charts, graphs, and visual highlights, helping management quickly understand trends and analysis. As an Analyst, this improves communication efficiency, reduces misinterpretation, and supports data-driven decision-making.

I also appreciate the ability to embed charts, screenshots, and code snippets directly, which helps when explaining technical concepts.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

sometime it feels a bit clunky for quick edits, especially if i just need a single visual or a quick mockup. Animations and formatting can be tricky to manage across mulitple slides, and large files can get slow. it's not always the fastest tool if i just need something simple for internal communication.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 7. The go to tool for creating presentation slides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

I’ve used Microsoft PowerPoint for years, and it’s still my go-to presentation tool, simply because it does everything I need, and more. The ease of use is one of its standout features. Whether I’m creating a quick visual for a meeting or building a full keynote deck, the intuitive interface makes it easy to jump straight in and get results fast.

It’s something I use frequently, often multiple times a week, across various projects, from workshops and webinars to client pitches and internal strategy sessions.

What really makes PowerPoint shine is the sheer number of features. From animations and transitions to charts, icons, templates, and design ideas, it offers a creative edge without being overly complicated. It’s flexible enough for both simple and complex presentations, and it’s perfect for storytelling.

The benefits are clear. It helps me communicate ideas visually, keep audiences engaged, and maintain brand consistency. It’s also incredibly reliable—I never worry about compatibility or formatting issues.

Another huge plus is its integration with other platforms. I often pull in data from Excel, link to Word documents, or present directly through Teams or Zoom. That seamless workflow saves time and keeps everything connected.

On the rare occasions when I’ve needed customer support, Microsoft has been helpful and responsive, with a wealth of online resources, tutorials, and live chat support available when needed.

All in all, PowerPoint continues to be a powerful, trusted tool that plays a key role in how I present ideas and engage with audiences.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

While I really value PowerPoint, there are a couple of things that could be improved. Sometimes, the design tools can feel a little clunky, especially when aligning elements or working with layered visuals, it’s not quite as slick as some graphic design platforms.

Also, with so many features and templates, it’s easy to get stuck in a loop of overediting, which can slow things down if you’re not careful. Although collaboration has improved, real-time co-editing isn’t always as seamless as it is in other cloud-first tools, such as Google Slides.

That said, these are minor gripes in an otherwise brilliant tool.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft PowerPoint solves a big problem we all face: communicating ideas clearly and visually. Whether I’m presenting to clients, running a workshop, or delivering a keynote, it helps me turn complex information into something that’s engaging, digestible, and memorable.

It also tackles the challenge of consistency and branding, with templates, custom themes, and reusable slides, I can keep presentations professional and on-brand without reinventing the wheel each time.

Plus, it’s a massive timesaver. With smart features like Design Ideas, slide duplication, and easy integration with Excel, Word, and Teams, I can work quickly, pull in data, and deliver polished content fast.

PowerPoint gives me the tools to present with clarity, confidence, and creativity and that’s a huge win in business.

 ### 8. solid business option

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Mostly, it’s just that it’s the de facto industry standard. I’ll admit it’s fairly easy to use, and a lot more intuitive than Google Slides. It might not “pop” the way some of the fancier options do, but it’s still a good way to organize my thoughts and, obviously, it works well for presenting.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Some of the editing functions can be finicky. Also, pulling data, information, or graphs from Excel or Word is shockingly difficult. You’d think it would work better with other MS tools, but it doesn’t.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s not only useful for the obvious purpose of presenting to others, but also almost like a database for unstructured content and unstructured thoughts. I use it to gather insights and collate information in one place.

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is awesome! It's super easy to make presentations that look professional. You can customize everything and even work with others on the same presentation. Plus, it integrates smoothly with other Microsoft Office apps. Copilot mode helps in summarising the data and making the slides even more organised. We use it every quarter for our townhall meetings.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Haven't came across any issue as of yet.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PowerPoint's real-time collaboration feature fosters teamwork by allowing multiple us to work on the same presentation simultaneously, boosting efficiency and creativity among team members.

AI-powered design suggestions, and new features like Zoom for PowerPoint enable us to create dynamic, non-linear presentations, enhancing audience engagement and interaction during presentations. Also, the seamless integration with cloud storage services like OneDrive allows us to access and edit presentations from any device, facilitating flexibility in working remotely.
