"Effortless Time-Saver with a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I use Microsoft Power Automate to automate repetitive work tasks like moving data between Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook, as well as sending automatic email notifications and triggering approval workflows. It saves time and effort, fitting naturally into daily work processes. I also like how flexible it is. You can start with simple workflows and gradually build more complex ones as your needs grow. It works reliably in the background and doesn't require much maintenance once it's set up. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially since I was already familiar with tools like Zapier. Power Automate felt intuitive within the Microsoft environment, and most basic workflows could be set up easily and quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

Sometimes debugging can be difficult, especially when a flow fails without a very clear error message. It would be useful if error messages were more detailed and easier to understand, especially for non-technical users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Automation with Extensive Connectivity"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I like how easy it is to create automations quickly even without programming knowledge. The versatility of Microsoft Power Automate and the large number of available connectors really expand the possibilities. I love the visual interface and the guided steps that make it very simple to design and test flows. Additionally, the ease of connecting with tools from the MS365 ecosystem, such as Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and the almost immediate connection with the main integrated applications make the initial setup quite simple. The templates also help a lot in this process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

The learning curve increases when the flows become more complex. Debugging is not always intuitive. Some performance and licensing limitations can be an obstacle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Microsoft 365 integrations, but can feel heavy and limited for complex logic"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

Power Automate works well as a corporate process orchestration tool within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Its native integrations with Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel reduce integration overhead and make event-driven workflows (approvals, notifications, data sync) predictable and manageable. Desktop RPA is also useful for automating legacy systems without APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

The platform lacks flexibility for complex or non-standard logic and can quickly hit limitations compared to more open automation tools. Licensing is not always transparent and requires careful planning when scaling. For small teams or fast-changing processes, Power Automate can feel heavy and over-engineered. "Flexible Automation with Strong Integration Across Microsoft 365"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I appreciate how Power Automate enables the automation of repetitive tasks without requiring any coding skills. The interface is very intuitive, and the extensive library of pre-built connectors makes it easy to integrate with M365 as well as various external services. This tool has helped our team cut down on manual work, standardize approval processes, and streamline workflows across different departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

As flows increase in complexity, especially when several people are working together on the same automation, they can become challenging to maintain. Debugging these flows often takes considerable time, since error messages are sometimes unclear and the logs may lack the detail needed to quickly pinpoint the underlying problem. Additionally, some connectors come with usage restrictions or can be unreliable at times, which may disrupt workflows if they are not closely monitored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Background Automation with Plug-and-Play Social & Email Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

This aid does not allow me, as an execution handler working with various channels, to be bombarded with manual entry of data. It is always working in the background; no leads are lost in favor of another task, which gives it some degree of operational consistency that is impossible to mimic by human effort. Typically, templates are junk, but in this case, they are encompassing a large percentage of typical marketing applications off the shelf. Social platform and email connection plug-ins are plug-and-play and that is why I was able to establish automation without the IT department assisting me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

Connections to third-party social tools often die (after a few weeks), and thus manual authentication is required. Although this is not a dealbreaker, it is annoying to receive flow failed emails because of the lapse of time between tokens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Automation and Integrations, But Complex Logic Can Get Messy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

Connectors for almost everything. HTTP, Azure, GitHub, Dataverse, Excel, Teams, ServiceNow, you name it. I can stitch infra checks, data setup, and notifications without reinventing wheels.

Fast incident workflows. A failed CI run posts to Teams -> one click opens a Power Automate “triage” flow that grabs logs, tags the right owners, and files a ticket with repro steps. It’s oddly satisfying.

Run history that’s actually useful. Each step’s inputs/outputs are viewable, so I can spot a bad payload or header mismatch in seconds instead of spelunking through app logs.

Human-in-the-loop made simple. Approvals and adaptive cards let QA/Product sign off on risky test data changes straight from Teams, no separate tooling.

Desktop flows for legacy UIs. When a vendor system has zero APIs, the desktop recorder (attended or unattended) gets us “good enough” RPA to unblock end-to-end tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

Complex logic gets messy. Big branching flows turn into spaghetti; the expression editor is powerful but unforgiving. Source control is awkward. Exporting/importing Solutions works, but it’s not as natural as a Git PR for reviewing logic changes. Fragile desktop automations. Minor UI tweaks can break selectors, so RPA steps demand babysitting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
