What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I like that in Microsoft Power Automate, you can do many things without needing programming knowledge. Also, the program can be easily integrated and it works excellently, quickly, and efficiently with other programs from Microsoft 365. I use it for automatically running Excel macros for data processing, controlling and confirming changes on SharePoint, and extracting data from Power Bi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

I would like more convenient ready-made solutions + an explanation of the problem if the flow does not work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Making Automation Easy with Power Automate"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I really like how easy it is to build workflows without needing deep coding knowledge. The drag-and-drop interface and wide range of prebuilt connectors save a lot of time. It integrates well with other Microsoft 365 tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook, which makes automating repetitive tasks very smooth. I also find it very helpful for scheduling reminders, approvals, and moving data between different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

Sometimes the flow runs fail without a very clear error message, which makes troubleshooting a bit tricky. The performance can be slow when dealing with large datasets, and licensing can get confusing and costly for advanced features. I also feel that the learning curve can be steep for people who are completely new to automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automates Tedious Tasks, Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

I love how Microsoft Power Automate significantly simplifies my workflow by automating tedious and repetitive tasks. The software helps me efficiently handle smaller tasks such as sorting emails, updating lists, and sending reminders, all of which usually slow me down. I particularly value the automated flows feature, especially those initiated by emails. It’s incredibly time-saving to automatically manage attachments, categorize emails, and send alerts without having to intervene manually. Additionally, the integration of Microsoft Power Automate with Teams and Outlook stands out as it enables me to build notification and approval workflows seamlessly, allowing me to operate without constantly switching between different apps. Furthermore, the integration with other key Microsoft 365 applications like SharePoint and Excel is seamless, keeping everything well-synchronized and organized. I find the setup process intuitive and user-friendly, typical of Microsoft software, which further enhances my appreciation for the tool. Overall, Microsoft Power Automate is likable for its ability to streamline processes, keep my tasks organized, and reduce manual work, leaving me with more time to focus on complex tasks. What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

I think that some flows can easily break when connectors change or when permissions aren't set up perfectly. Sometimes troubleshooting isn't very clear, and the error messages don't always explain what went wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

The best thing about Microsoft Power Automate is its seemless integration between Cloud flows and Desktop flows, This hybrid approach is really powerful, as we could use both modern cloud & leagecy desktop apps.

It has native SharePoint connector which means, uploading /downloading files is really easy and it stays within the Microsoft ecosystem.

The Web UI / GUI is intuitive & well orgnised.

Power Automate has great user and permission management capabilities, just create the required teams, add the required users, and assign the required permissions to the teams directly or individual users.

Power Automate can be used on a daily basis to create variety of automations & it's really easy to implement just procure the required number of licences, assign them to users and you are set! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful tool for automating tasks within the Microsoft ecosystem."
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

The best feature of Power Automate is its seamless integration with the entire Microsoft 365 suite. The ability to create complex workflows that connect SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel with minimal effort is a significant advantage. The vast library of pre-built templates provides a great starting point for new users, and the low-code, drag-and-drop interface makes it accessible for users who aren't traditional programmers. The recent addition of AI-powered Copilot features, which help build flows from natural language descriptions, is a game-changer for accelerating development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?

While simple automations are straightforward, the learning curve can become unexpectedly steep when creating more complex, multi-step flows with conditional logic. The debugging and error-handling process can be clunky and time-consuming, as identifying the exact point of failure in a long flow isn't always intuitive. Furthermore, the licensing model can be confusing, especially when determining which connectors are "premium" and require a higher-tiered plan. For very large or high-volume workflows, we have also noticed some performance throttling, which can cause delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
