It can be easily connected to data sources like SharePoint lists, and PowerApps automatically imports all the fields from the list along with their data types to create a basic form application. Further enhancements can also be added easily. Once the web application is ready, it can be deployed easily using the one-click publish option. The deployed application works great with zero downtime, and publishing updates is very quick as well. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?** No issues so far. I like all the functions, and it’s a very functional application for easily building web applications . The learning curve to use the application is very less, since it has a drag-and-drop based UI with little to no coding **What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Power Apps helps us to easily build a web application based on sharepoint Lists by connecting to a SharePoint list in powerapps and adding a user interface where users can make edits to the list from the deployed Power Apps application. In the backend, all changes are saved directly to the list. It also supports invoking Power Automate flows from within Power Apps, which adds automation capabilities to the web application we create. It solves the problem of slow, manual spreadsheet-based workflows. What I like most is its easy-to-build custom apps with low-code, and the drag and drop interface along with prebuilt connectors works like a charm. The prebuilt connectors make it super easy to link my apps to SharePoint, Office 365, Teams, etc., so I can quickly read/write data, send approvals in Teams, and automate workflows. The initial setup was super-easy as it came along with our M365 license, so we did not need to buy a separate tool, which makes the pricing and ROI very attractive for us because we are getting a lot of automation and time savings from something already included in our existing subscription. On top of that, the built-in AI features, like AI Builder and intelligent controls, help us add capabilities such as form processing and predictions without needing data science expertise, which makes our apps smarter and adds even more value to the solution. For a basic form application, I can connect a list and Powerapps will automatically build the form UI. Even when I provide a prompt with the application requirements, it doesn’t build an application according to those requirements, and a lot of rework is needed. I also value the possibilities I have to create applications based on any data source from other external systems, such as SQL Server, SharePoint, PostgreSQL, all with licenses already included in my Microsoft tenant, with high performance we have never had availability issues with our solutions, so a whole ecosystem with a single payment, it's worth a lot, the community and support it has are greatly appreciated, as well as its user-friendly interface which facilitates learning it in short periods of time. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?** During update periods, errors often appear in apps, such as filters that stop working, etc., which could show weakness in the process of bringing new features to production that affects others that already existed. For example, I can use Excel as a database, and then use Power Automate to run backend automation and other workflows very easily. It’s also great for replicating Google Forms into an app-like UI. It helps with Excel integration too—for instance, a button click can take you directly to a Power Apps page. And in power apps i like the most is its very easy to design a page or creation of UI is so simple its cost less amount of time its like designing and developing a Ui at same time with less effort **What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?** At times, it has loading issues. Also, whenever we update something in an automated flow, we then need to update and refresh it in the Power Apps connection, and republish the app again. Sometimes, because of the loading problem, changes don’t get saved. **What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Actually, Power solves the GAS-to-M365 migration in my case. In some scenarios, we use Google Forms, but we can’t store the results from MS Forms directly into SharePoint, and we also can’t pull data from an external source or pass data into another Excel file the way we need. With Power Apps, we can easily replicate a form-like UI and then do whatever we need with the data. Overall, it makes the GAS to M365 migration much easier for us. ### 9.
