**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I like that Microsoft Power Apps allows me to get access to my data and design freely. I appreciate how it connects to sources like Excel, SharePoint, and databases and brings the data into one app, making it easier to manage. I also like that it balances power with simplicity. The initial setup was very easy, which was a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I find the pricing a bit high. It would be great if the premium costs were lower, especially for beginners.

  ### 3. Game Changer for Workflow Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vipin W. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The ability to connect to multiple data sources through Power Automate and Dataverse is what I value most. It lets you design scalable, secure, and logic-rich applications that work seamlessly within the Microsoft ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

While it’s powerful, the learning curve can still be steep for more advanced customizations. Some complex logic or UI designs require PowerFx formulas or connector workarounds, which aren’t always intuitive. Additionally, performance can slow down with larger datasets, and licensing costs can be confusing for organizations scaling up.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Power Apps helps bridge the gap between business needs and IT resources by allowing non-developers to quickly create custom solutions. It has replaced several manual and Excel-based processes in my workflow, reducing repetitive tasks and human error. By integrating seamlessly with tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate, it enables smooth data flow across departments.

The biggest benefit is speed and flexibility — instead of waiting weeks for a developer to build an internal tool, I can create and deploy one in hours, which improves productivity and helps the team focus on more strategic work.

  ### 4. Flexible, Low-Code Platform to Build Business Apps Quickly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhaval S. | Sr IT Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I like how easy it is to create apps without being a full-time developer. The drag-and-drop design and ready-made templates make building apps quick, and it works well with Microsoft tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Excel. I can connect to different data sources, automate processes, and make apps available on both web and mobile with almost no extra work. It saves a lot of time compared to traditional development.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Sometimes the licensing and pricing are confusing, especially when trying to scale apps for more users. Also, while it’s great for simple to medium-complexity apps, more advanced features or custom designs often require coding knowledge, which can slow things down for non-developers. Performance can also dip a bit if the app is connected to very large datasets.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Apps is helping us replace manual, paper-based, and Excel-driven processes with digital apps. Tasks that used to take hours like collecting data, approving requests, or tracking inventory can now be done in minutes from a phone or browser. It connects to our existing Microsoft 365 tools, so there’s no need to rebuild our data from scratch. This has improved accuracy, reduced repetitive work, and made our workflows much faster and more transparent.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I find that the configuration of Microsoft Power Apps is a bit complicated due to the lack of existing documentation. We did not have any prior knowledge, which forced us to search for a lot of information on our own about how to use the tool. This made the initial learning curve somewhat steep until we acquired the necessary knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I find Microsoft Excel within the Microsoft Power Apps ecosystem to be somewhat tricky, especially when dealing with formulas or getting into more in-depth functionality. I think there could be better learnings or trainings provided to simplify the experience for all users. It would be great if Excel were made more accessible or streamlined.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft Power Apps to efficiently document procedures, conduct trainings, and enhance team learning. It helps streamline project management, budgeting, cost estimation, and inventory tracking, making my job easier and more efficient.

  ### 10. A very powerfull tool to automate many things

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan K. | IT Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I have attempted to automate a few tasks using the flow. Although the setup took some time, it works like a charm once it’s up and running, saving me time on my daily tasks. There are many possibilities that I am still exploring with this tool.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The complexity of managing large flows & ideas sometimes causes connection drops without any notification. For example, when we fetch a report from any source, it may sign us out without reflecting this disconnection. As a result, when the reports are inaccurate, we have to log back in to restore the connection. There should be an error notification to alert us immediately.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to analyze the emails in the mail flow without granting access to any users. To achieve this, we created an app to fetch and display the data for users. Additionally, we developed another app to present selective data to users.

  ### 11. Quickly Build Business Apps That Fit Right Into Microsoft 365

The ability to quickly design, test, and share an app sometimes in just a day has been a game changer for productivity.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Some advanced customizations still require coding knowledge, which can be a hurdle for non-developers. The app can feel slow when working with large datasets, and the licensing structure is a bit complex it takes time to figure out which plan includes the features you need.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Apps has replaced many of our manual and spreadsheet-based processes with automated apps. Tasks like approvals, data collection, and reporting are now faster, more accurate, and accessible from anywhere. This has reduced errors, saved time for our team, and made it easier to keep all our data in one place instead of scattered across emails and files.

  ### 16. Microsoft Power Apps : The new way to build

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnav Singh J. | Cloud engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

What I value most about Microsoft Power Apps is its ability to make app development accessible, even for individuals without a professional development background. With just an idea, you can easily connect to data from sources like Excel, SharePoint, or others, and quickly turn it into a working app in just a few hours. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, yet powerful enough to create apps that solve real business challenges. Furthermore, its smooth integration with other Microsoft tools, such as Power Automate and Power BI, ensures that everything operates together seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

One aspect I find frustrating about Microsoft Power Apps is that it can occasionally feel limited or sluggish, particularly when handling large datasets or more complex logic. If you want to customize beyond what the standard interface offers, you often need to use formulas or Power Fx, which can be challenging for those new to the platform. Additionally, the licensing costs can accumulate quickly for organizations, and certain features are only available in the more expensive plans. Overall, while it’s a powerful tool, it can become frustrating when you encounter its limitations or experience performance slowdowns.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Power Apps addresses the challenge of relying on developers or IT teams to create business applications. It enables everyday users and teams to quickly develop their own custom apps without requiring extensive coding knowledge.

In my experience, it has helped me streamline manual processes and replace disorganized spreadsheets or paper forms with efficient, automated applications. This not only saves time and reduces mistakes but also simplifies data collection and management by keeping everything in one place. Overall, it has made my work more efficient and provided the flexibility to design solutions tailored to my specific needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josafat C. | Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

As i started working on Workforce industry i notice that im lazy and a bit of OCD, the tool and process are very simple to follow even for those who are starting or dont have expeciente on Coding. Step by Step you can create Small Apps just to pull data from a data source. Integrate those Apps with All Microsoft like a Sharepoint, Teams, Excel and more. as you start working on them little by little you can start to build a big app to help others.

In my indistry as Workforce Supervisor i need to use it every day to build reports, send houry updates to Operacion, see how survey are answered by customers and provide feedback to out client about those survey customers answer. as well feedback to Operations to provide a beter customer service by finding those gaps.

No need to be an expert as the app is very friendly to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Only issue i see well it was the cost of the whola package, someone who want to start on these as learner it will be difficult, also the Advance Curve brings a lot of tech jargon that some users might not understand and limit on the mobile app for the visualizacion part.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Make it more friendly use on the advance part, there are some jargon that might need some explanation for those who didnt cross the path of coding. also on the mobile app might need to set limitations on who can downloaded since there are some requirements that needs to be fill in order to run smoth.

**Reviewed by:** Donna A. | Database Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

There are a lot of free resources online via Microsoft Learn. It is a low- code environment, so you can get started with building basic apps without having to learn traditional programming languages, such as C#. You can start using it pretty much straight away as long as you have the correct licensing. I have so far built two Apps with 5 Power Automate Cloud Flows and two Dataverse tables. I have integrated connections to Microsoft 365 Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint. Microsoft Power BI and Dataverse.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The built in Co Pilot feature often doesn't work, and I have to use my personal Google Gemini pro account to help me to debug issues and decipher instructions.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far I have built an Office Sign In and Out App and a Fire Register & Office Attendance App, which once they have been throroughly tested and deployed, will save the charity I work for circa £10k which would have been spent in contracting an external consultant.

  ### 23. The app is excellent and very easy to use

  ### 26. Building complex apps in days in your current Microsoft environment in Power Apps is just GREAT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel G. | Product Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

It's already embedded in your current Microsoft environment, which makes it easy to integrate with everything you already use where in combination with Power Automate you can do wonders in hours. It allows scalability to a certain extent by leveraging Dataverse, so you can build apps that even use complex data. It's pretty easy to learn as it's like an excel for apps, but using UI elements as well as formulas.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I think is big room to improve the looking of the different elements of Power Apps, the buttons can't even be rounded for example. Hence, integrations like Figma doensn't make sense if in the end you can't even use it's design power.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped us building several apps for our sales, HR and Procurement teams. For HR a lot of manual processes were automated by combining Power Apps with Power Automate where we created spaces where we sent data automatically to a file, where we sent documents automatically or signing processes with Docusign were almost automated fully. For sales we created an app for the biggest sales rep event of the company where we shown the event map, what to expect, where to go, time of events and we even allowed them to register times to eat for that event. For Procurement we created apps where we made processes for asking procurement team escalations easier and faster.

  ### 27. Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration and Effortless App Development

The seamless integration with the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem (especially SharePoint and Excel) is the best feature. It allows for rapid application development and easy deployment to internal teams without requiring a background in traditional coding.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The licensing model can be quite complex and expensive to scale for larger organizations. Additionally, the platform can suffer from performance issues or lag when apps become too complex or when trying to load very large datasets.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Apps helps us eliminate manual, paper-based processes and fragmented data entry. By allowing us to quickly build custom low-code tools, we have streamlined internal workflows, reduced human error, and saved significant development time compared to traditional software solutions.

  ### 28. Great products! Thanks, Microsoft!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad M. | Digital Product Owner, Finance and Accounting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I like how easy it is to build and deploy apps quickly without needing heavy coding skills. Power Apps integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft tools like Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI, which makes it simple to connect data and streamline processes. The templates and low-code features save a lot of time, and it empowers business users to create solutions themselves instead of relying solely on IT.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Sometimes performance can be slow, especially with more complex apps or larger datasets. Advanced customizations often require technical expertise, which can be a challenge for business users who expect a fully no-code experience. Licensing costs can also add up quickly for organizations as usage scales.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Apps helps us digitize manual processes and replace spreadsheets or paper-based workflows with simple, user-friendly apps. It allows teams to quickly prototype and launch solutions without waiting on long IT development cycles. By connecting directly to data sources like SharePoint, Excel, and Dataverse, it centralizes information and reduces duplication of work. The biggest benefit has been faster turnaround times, improved collaboration, and giving non-technical users the ability to create tools that fit their needs.

  ### 29. Easy to use business App builder.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amr a. | Data Solution Architect, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Microsoft Power Apps allows my team to build and customize apps tailored to our workflow needs using a visual drag-and-drop editor, with no deep expertise in app development or automation required. It offers pre-built components and templates for common workflows, along with built-in AI that suggests design elements and automation steps. This helps us build apps quickly, using an optimal structure to meet our goals.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The drag-and-drop canvas makes the interface easy to use, but that ease comes at the cost of performance. The designer is packed with graphical components, which can slow down app development and editing

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PowerApps helps my team quickly build and update custom apps tailored to our workflow needs, mainly to access and interact with data across various tools and platforms. We create apps that centralize our data in one easy-to-use interface, supported by AI assistants we build using Copilot Studio.

The pre-built connectors and third-party integrations allow us to find and access information wherever it's stored (often across different systems) without duplicating files or manually pulling data from multiple sources.

The mobile-friendly interface helps our sales teams stay productive on the go. For example, they can quickly retrieve data from past projects to create tailored case studies or client-ready content, saving time and improving performance.

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The best thing about Microsoft Power Apps, in my opinion, is that it enables users to quickly create unique business apps utilizing a low-code platform, even if they lack extensive programming experience. It is very adaptable for developing apps that automate procedures, optimize workflows, and boost productivity because of its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, smooth connection with Microsoft 365 tools (such as Teams, Excel, and SharePoint), and more than 500 data connectors. Furthermore, developers have more freedom to manage intricate data relationships and create interfaces because to its support for both canvas and model-driven programs, all in a safe and expandable environment.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

I don't like how complicated Microsoft Power Apps may be for new users, especially when using Power Fx formulas and sophisticated logic. High licensing fees and performance problems with big datasets might also be disadvantages.

  ### 38. Great for automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

As a new IT professional, I've been using Microsoft Power Apps to enhance my workflows. I am not an expert in Powershell, but powerapps allowed me to connect sharepoint and other O365 apps to automate redundant procedures. I was also able to create an application on my iPhone, coupled with a barcode scanner to scan our assets and automatically upload the data to sharepoint.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

The lack of instructions and resources is what makes Power Apps a little difficult to use. I'm resorting to old videos on youtube, or very vaguely similar docs/forums that cover what I may need. If there was a better learning center that shows you real world applications, it'd be a much better tool.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to use power apps to record all of our assets using a barcode scanner. This saved our org thousands of dollars, as well as saved me a ton of time versus manually uploading all of our assets.

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo C. | Regular Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?**

What I like best is how quickly I can turn an idea into a working app. I don’t need to wait on IT or a developer for weeks if I need a form, a tracker, or something that connects to SharePoint or Excel, I can usually build it myself in a few hours

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?**

Sometimes it feels slower than it should be, especially when the app is pulling from large data sources.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, Power Apps helps replace a lot of the manual Excel files and paper forms we used to rely on. Things like tracking requests, approvals, or basic data entry that used to take forever are now faster and less error-prone. It’s not that we built some fancy app, but even simple automations save us a ton of back and forth.

There should be inbuilt functionally screen or controls to create pagination.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes very lesser time to develop an app due to which we can able to deploy more projects. Also the deployment part is easy and smooth.
