What do you like best about Microsoft Planner?

A User-friendly interface which offers simplicity.

Planner integrates easily with Microsoft 365, which ensures smooth synchronization.

A useful thing about this software is that it has a mobile app that syncs with smartphones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Planner?

When canceling tasks, there is currently no backup feature in place.

This software is expensive and is predominantly used by large organizations, limiting its affordability for smaller businesses or individuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for team based task planning"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Planner?

Microsoft planner has all the features I need in a collaborative task planner, with the added bonus of seamless integration throughout office 365. The integration in Teams, To-Do, and with Microsoft groups - at no additional license cost - make it a no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Planner?

As with all things Microsoft, new features and innovation are slow to progress and it can be easy to feel 'locked in' to certain parameters, e.g. plans must be linked to a team, etc... As well, it's one of MANY ways to manage tasks across O365. It can be confusing to know what to use when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If you are in Microsoft Ecosystem, Planner is the most natural task planner to use"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Planner?

That is easy to use inside the Microsoft ecosystem, and it is not complex to create tasks on it. I like the fusión of creating a planner in a Sharepoint modern 365 site to be a collaborative planner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Planner?

I don't like that in the "notes" and "comments" sections you can not tag @ a member, also that you can not re-arrange the label colors. The comment field can be below the notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A solution for team collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Planner?

I like the way Planner enables efficient teamwork and effective communication. It makes it easy to share files between members through chat, video calls, audio recordings and desktops. These technologies allow different organizations to interact seamlessly. With conversation lines easily organised within groups or sub-groups, it is even more convenient for users to get their work done quickly while collaborating smoothly with team members who are miles apart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Planner?

I find Microsoft Planner to be very limited when it comes to filters, alerts and a powerful search function. In addition, I'm often surprised by the regular updates, which conveniently require an active Office 365 Business licence for a successful launch - which can prove difficult if you don't always have a reliable internet connection.
