As for the pro version, it opens important features like statistics or the creation of new columns. Planner is online, but like every online tool from Microsoft, an "installable" can be created through Edge. Planner is not easy to use if you are not accustomed to Microsoft 365 tools. Customer support is functional, but slow. I use this tool daily to record projects. Files can be shared to all members as it also provides a centralised place to share and view files. One can easily integrate task with outlook using MS Planner, discuss a project within Teams. It is easy to use and implementation of basic office tools is quite simple using this tool, making it a day to day tool to be used. Onboarding team gets simplified using the kanban board interface.
