The planner enjoys its integration with Microsoft 365, even its free version, although it is very limited. As for the pro version, it opens important features like statistics or the creation of new columns. Planner is online, but like every online tool from Microsoft, an "installable" can be created through Edge. Planner is not easy to use if you are not accustomed to Microsoft 365 tools. Customer support is functional, but slow. I use this tool daily to record projects. It does not require implementation, just understanding it and creating a template. Everything is where you expect it to be, and I don't miss anything. It has a careful graphical interface that provides a simple and effective user experience. You just have to take care of how you want to organize yourself. You have at your disposal a great tool to work professionally without needing complex project management software.
