Easy to use and see all of your/teams' tasks at a glance. Easy to interface into a team on Microsoft Teams. I open it up daily to plan out my day and what I need to do the day ahead. It would be good if it it interfaced with Microsoft Todo a little bit better and was intuitive enough to find e-mails of relevance instead of just documents/spreadsheets from OneDrive and SharePoint. Microsoft Planner is a useful tool because it integrates well with the Office 365 cloud suite. This app allows an individual, or a team, to create, assign, and manage tasks collaboratively. More than a simple task list, Microsoft Planner allows the user to create “buckets” for different projects or major tasks, assign tasks to team members, flag tasks with colored labels, and monitor progress. It integrates with Microsoft Teams, OneNote and the Outlook app. You can add an attachment to a bullet list item, whether a file or a link on your SharePoint system. You can see assigned tasks in different views, i.e., calendar view, board view, or timeline view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Microsoft Planner? Microsoft Planner has little room for customization, keeping the app simple. If I want more than the six allowed labels, or want to color-code to match another system, I cannot. If you need a full-fledged task management, consider more feature-laden task management and calendar tools.
