The photo editor can be improve. Like it can have the option of croma key, collage etc. I'm not sure the collage option is there or not but I think it's not there. Also in the editor if effects can be added the it will be great really.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem was backup issue with me. Currently I've connected my Photos with One drive and now there is no problem with that. Also I edit my photo and video with Photos. My default photo viewing app is Photos. So I use it almost daily.

  ### 24. Photos Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag J. | Product Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

I love Microsoft Photos because of the following reasons,
1. In Microsoft Photos, you can easily organize photos and videos in alums and can assign tags to all of them.
2. Microsoft Photos also provides basic editing tools to edit your videos and photos.
3. Automatic video creator AI is also really good feature.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

The things I don't like about the software are as follows:
1. Limited editing features are there which is not helpful at all if you are someone who has to edit things a lot.
2. Also a lot of the time I have seen the slow performance while working with a big chunk of photos and videos to edit.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So whenever we want to keep a digital print of something, we want our photos to be organized in a very clean manner. We want it to be in good format and albums. That's where this product comes in managing those photos well in a good manner.

  ### 25. Great tool for everyday use with basic functionality!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav f. | Senior Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

Microsoft Photos is a great everyday use tool for basic editing and photo management. The app comes with a clean and simple interface that anyone can easily navigate. Its photo editor tool includes basic adjustments, cropping, filters and some presets that makes it easy for quick and easy photo enhancements.

The highlight of Microsoft Photos is how easy it integrates with the other Microsoft photos such as Onedrive for managing your photo library.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

The downside of Microsoft Photos is that is has a limited functionality and lacks advanced features. But if you're looking for something for a quick fix, this free app does the work.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're looking for something for a quick fix to enhance your photos, Microsoft Photos can help you with that. You can also organize your photos into albums, add tags and sort them according to your criteria. You can also share your photos directly from the app to the social media platforms or email.

  ### 26. The experience isn't the best

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shouvik C. | Search Engine Optimization Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

Photos arrangement, able to make minor edits, clipchamp, the new video editing edition and the minimal interface. These are the only factors you can rely on this software.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

The list is significant when it comes to disliking this software. For example, it shows a lot of error codes, and most of the versions are not stable; when it was the era of Microsoft phones then, it used to sync all the pictures, but it failed to sync the folders and showed me errors most of the time. I don't know whether it's a problem with the OS, but the syncing is a significant issue. If you compare it with google photos, I recommend you switch to that only.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Backing up photos in the right order that's the main thing. But also, it helps to send the stories to work well as a reminder. Currently, we are using Microsoft suite, which allows us to backup all the actual screenshots and videos. It is a daily backup driver for media files. Serves well in everyday work.

  ### 27. Microsoft Photos - Gotta go Editor!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boopathy S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

With Microsoft Photos, you can do more with your photos and videos. The newly redesigned and reengineered Photos application is user-friendly, graceful, and seamlessly integrated into Windows System. View, organize, and share photos from your computer, OneDrive, iCloud Photos, and other devices from a single, aesthetically pleasing gallery. Microsoft Photos for Windows makes it easier than ever to view your photos and videos. Through the use of our viewer, you will be immersed in an immersive viewing and editing experience.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

The photo processing suite is extremely restricted, and it only provides access to a restricted set of features. Using this, you are able to make extremely simple modifications. There are several mobile editing apps available that are more sophisticated than this one. As I try to import photographs and videos from my iPhone, this software keeps randomly disconnecting from the device, which is one of the most aggravating aspects of it. Never it is able to import the entire thing.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier for me to organize and keep track of the images I'm required to keep for work. Sometimes the images are saved from the footage of security cameras, and other times we are just retouching photos to post on our social media accounts. Additionally, it has been useful for adjusting photographs. Microsoft gives us the ability to control the photo and screenshot directories and organises it for us across teams. Additionally, we use One Drive so that all of the creative content that has been organised can be organised within the drive, and MS Photos can be used to modify the content if necessary.

  ### 28. Easy to Use, Easy to Orginize

**Reviewed by:** Mike T. | Social Media Specialist & Beer Slinger, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

It's super convenient and easy to use! With just one click, you can edit your photos and get the best possible image. If you want to make some additional adjustments, you can always fine-tune it later with various options. The app also offers other useful features such as markups, resizing, and printing. It comes pre-built into Microsoft 10 and 11.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

My biggest gripe with Photos is the number of new windows it creates. One suggestion for improvement could be to modify the software to keep photos in tabs rather than opening a new window each time. This could make it easier to review and compare multiple images without having to navigate through different windows.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Microsoft, I can manage and organize our photo and screenshot directories. By connecting Photos to OneDrive, I can store all of my creative content in an organized manner within the drive. This allows me to access quickly and edit my content using MS Photos.

I rely on Microsoft Photos as my go-to tool for editing and enhancing photos and graphics. It offers a seamless and user-friendly experience, making it easy to resize or crop images without the need for external editing apps. The convenience it provides for capturing and editing screenshots is exceptional. I particularly appreciate the doodle feature, which enables me to highlight and circle specific areas of a screenshot, adding emphasis where needed. Additionally, the copy/paste functionality is a real-time-saver. With a simple paste, I can instantly share my screenshot in a Teams chat or email, eliminating the hassle of attaching files.

Microsoft Photos has become an indispensable part of my daily routine, enabling me to efficiently handle various visual tasks. Whether I need to edit personal photos or work on professional graphics, it consistently delivers the tools I need in an intuitive and reliable package.

I've come to rely heavily on Microsoft Photos for my photo and graphic editing needs. It's a user-friendly interface and seamless editing capabilities make it my preferred choice over external editing apps. When it comes to resizing or cropping images, Microsoft Photos offers a streamlined experience that saves me time and effort. However, it's the screenshot functionalities that truly make it stand out.

The doodling feature in Microsoft Photos allows me to easily highlight and draw attention to specific elements within a screenshot. Whether I need to circle an important detail or emphasize a particular section, this feature provides the flexibility and precision I require. Moreover, the copy/paste functionality is a game-changer. I can swiftly paste my edited screenshot directly into a Teams chat or email, bypassing the need to upload it as an attachment.
Overall, Microsoft Photos has become an indispensable tool in my daily workflow. It's comprehensive editing capabilities and seamless integration with other Microsoft applications make it an invaluable asset for handling all my visual editing needs.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

While Microsoft Photos offers convenient basic editing features such as resizing and cropping, it falls short when it comes to more advanced photo editing capabilities. For tasks requiring intricate adjustments or advanced effects, I find myself needing to turn to external editing apps.
Although Microsoft Photos excels in providing a seamless experience for simple resizing and cropping tasks, its editing features are limited in comparison to dedicated photo editing software. While it serves as a convenient option for quick and basic edits, it may not meet the requirements of more complex projects or advanced retouching.
To achieve more sophisticated edits or apply intricate effects, I often have to rely on external editing apps that offer a wider range of tools and functionalities. These apps provide a broader selection of features such as layer adjustments, advanced filters, and precise fine-tuning options. They allow me to unleash my creativity and achieve the desired results with greater control and precision.
Despite its limitations in advanced editing, Microsoft Photos remains a useful tool for quick and straightforward resizing or cropping tasks. Its simplicity and integration within the Windows ecosystem make it a convenient choice for basic edits. However, when it comes to more intricate or professional-grade editing, I find it necessary to turn to external editing apps that offer a broader set of capabilities and tools.

Microsoft Photos has become an integral part of my photo editing workflow, offering me a seamless and efficient experience. With its user-friendly interface and versatile features, it allows me to effortlessly edit my photos to perfection. Whether it's circling an important element or adding arrows for clarification, Microsoft Photos allows me to easily annotate my photos and make them more engaging and informative.
Furthermore, Microsoft Photos helps me keep my photo library organized. With its built-in organization tools, I can sort and categorize my photos based on various criteria such as date, location, or tags. **What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?**

It is a basic program for viewing and editing photos and videos, you can crop videos, photos, add text, change certain features such as color, size, crop, add some filters, to be free is quite effective and functional.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?**

For a free program I have no complaints, as for the editing is quite basic for that reason it is free, has good viewing, zoom, and quality in the photos, and for a more professional work if I consider that there are other better options.

**What problems is Microsoft Photos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There was an error in the visualization of the photos that did not load the photos, but I think that error was in windows 8, in windows 10 and 11 I have not had any problem with the application.
