## Microsoft OneNote Reviews
  ### 1. Microsoft OneNote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar K. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I particularly like OneNote because the user interface reminds me of an absolute, digitized notebook. The sections and tabs cause it to be natural for me to imagine how my notes are structured. I also appreciate the casual nature of OneNote, as the papers are not fully structured and you can quickly drag and drop notes side by side. Adding pictures is comfortable and friendly. I also admire how most of my notes are easily synced with most products.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Failure to remove and delete unused notebooks. Moreover, both private and business profiles are being confused, which creates confusion.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is important to make notes or instructions on certain functions that others can use. In addition, strictly monitor, do activities or even comply with notes.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the program internally to monitor projects and customer information. It shortens the time it takes to search for information and helps organize information.

  ### 2. Amazing product by Microsoft - Complete solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Notes can be very nicely managed in OneNote. You can create different Notebooks and then Sections within them and then create Pages within them. So, your notes are so nicely managed. OneNote allows all type of content from text to table to picture to voice to video and so on. Any type of content can be put inside your notes.
You can even put attachments inside your notes.
Search feature is very nice, you can search for a word across all the notebooks, not just the page you are working on.
You can even draw something in your notes.
OneNote Mobile app is also very good. Sticky notes can also be synced with OneNote.
OneNote handles sync issues very nicely.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is nothing that I dislike yet. OneNote has many good features.
But sometime it happens that it is not able to sync the notes in the mobile app.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have maintained all my business and personal notes in OneNote. Notes are so nicely managed. You don't need to write on paper now. No one likes to maintain physical notebooks and it's very difficult to maintain them.
But with OneNote, I can maintain separate Notebooks for all my purposes. I can maintain my To-do lists, meeting notes, discussions, study notes etc. at one place.

  ### 3. Great notes application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherry M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The thing I like the most is that it works in all my devices all the time. Since I'm in charge of several projects at any given time that means that I'm a central point of contact for teams all over the world and got asked questions at odd hours for me and if a question is simple enough I can answer that from my phone just copying and pasting some of my notes from OneNote without needing to open my laptop at all.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love that I can do my work easily from my phone with the help of outlook, OneNote, etc.. but at the same time I do miss the old days where you could easily disconnect from work, it's not like I'm required to answer an email at 10 pm but if I see it I just can't wait until tomorrow to answer it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Export your old notes to PDF just in case, don't delete them outright

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My project notes are on OneNote and it is easy to create and share them when the situation calls for it.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Instead of a 3-ring binder it's all in one note. Best of all, I can access it from anywhere!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike that items on the side panel don't automatically alphabetize.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

You can not only organize your work, you can organize your life!

I don't have to carry around a 3-ring binder when I work outside my office. I can access one note from any computer.

I love that my students' work is organized, and I can see their work in real time. It's so easy for submissions and grading.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There are minor features that aren't perfect yet. For example, you can't double space. There are also some pieces of the immersive reader that aren't perfect.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Use it! It takes a slight adjustment period, but it's totally worth it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is such an awesome tool for education. All of my students' work is in one place, and I can give feedback easily. I can't imagine teaching without it.

**Reviewed by:** Francisco D. | Senior Vice President LATAM Regional FIU Governance & Oversight, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote is, in fact, my notebook that records minutes and ideas of meetings, displays, concepts, ideas, files and images. It allows you to capture my thinking, in addition, to sort out dynamic and complex concepts. You'll find embedded functions, checkboxes, like tables, bold text etc. which might be placed into each notebook page. Sections may be very easily reordered. Microsoft Onenote organises various notebooks, pages and section within every notebook. You're in a position to also talk about the notebooks with the co-workers of yours with authentic updates.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

While OneNote certainly presents a faster way of capturing notes on an electric-powered notebook, the framework of the notebook is normally a lot more adaptable. For instance, you're in a position to have equations, diagrams and moves onto a created newspaper notebook interchangeably whereby in OneNote it's significantly less fast and simple to transition between these different options.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is ideal for recording conferences and meetings at 1:1.

Microsoft OneNote is going to help to have minutes of the meeting, actions, collaborative pictures in one area. **Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2020

It's a great application for note/information taking notes. Create specific areas which can arrange things to the specific needs of yours. It's not difficult to use because of a basic, well designed interface. Creating web pages, driving to various other web pages or perhaps URLs or perhaps merging research pages in a note. Multiple notes can be put into just one note, but just one can start at the moment. An image may also be saved on the note screen by changing the image display road within the note on the display screen. You are going to publish the title of yours whenever you start a second note from anybody else if you switch it therefore the individual that made it is able to register it.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I discovered issues with browsed several notes when I turned from the internet browser, but it was beneficial to reinstall and clean the cache.

You ought to pick OneNote to alter how it will save you your thoughts/notes by Microsoft Note, spot for the notes of yours.

OneNote works on practically every platform and device. You can still take notes if you do not have network access on the other device. When you want to work with different people, you can talk about your notes with your colleagues.

Sometimes I have encountered errors with data synchronization.

  ### 11. Coordinate notes across my department.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy M. | Author, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

This app is perfect for taking notes on-the-go. I put it to use through Office 365 therefore my notes instantly synchronise with the cloud. Where my notes have to be shared or perhaps others could access the notebooks of mine and figure out other inputs. I actually love the capacity to link the app to Microsoft Teams straightaway.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I'd no real issues with this product due to the dislike of mine.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I'd really recommend OneNote, in case you are fed up with using notepad or wordpad to take notices, as well as Microsoft Word. I did not utilize it very truthfully, but as I progressed in the career of mine and also took on additional responsibilities, I often use it to keep track of the projects of mine.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By utilizing this particular programme with Microsoft Teams, I've been in a position to manage notes through a number of the organisations of mine and centralise them for the convenience of mine. This has really helped create much more of my colleagues tech savvy and more user friendly.

  ### 12. Notepad, but integrated with MS platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad G. | Sales Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote is as Evernote in many ways. The capacity to segmente as well as arrange your ideas is among the great things about OneNote. The capacity to thrust into the books as well as really segment the work. Whether it is a to do list where you're working, take notes about something you read, hear or perhaps create tables. OneNote uses a great deal of Office Suite performance and is the very best component.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The lack of integration with no Microsoft is my key con with OneNote. Evernote is not incorporated into different third party providers and browsers. This's a significant barrier which may be hard to broaden market share until there's much deeper integration outside Microsoft. It doesn't matter if it's a much better tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

OneNotes is a good way to work if you're consuming OneNote within the MS environment. OneNote is not an excellent alternative in case you are not or perhaps are in another ecosystem.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNote is a fantastic tool for taking notes that provides more resources than the typical note. It's strong within the Microsoft environment and it is an excellent choice for many companies with the right Office type. It also makes it possible for OneDrive being discussed, but you are talking about MS sandbox again.

  ### 13. A great tool for independent or collaborative organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Audrey G. | Key Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Onenote causes it to be much easier to manage the notes of yours! You are able to take notes in the mobile app of yours or maybe iPad and after that return to the computer of yours as well as things are synchronized with the hard drive of yours or even Sharepoint. I'd love to share back links to the possibility and specific notebooks of password protection with other people in case you would like.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Some screens don't take what might stop being a defect of the system, but a defect

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

In case you're searching for a core place to keep all the documents of yours, this's the best place to visit. It is not difficult to work with and also can help you monitor every thing.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest benefit that we decided on One Note is the fact that we can easily transmit meeting paperwork and cooperate on scanned documents at the same time.

  ### 14. Excellent resource for Working Remotely

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle H. | Administrative Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love being able to share my notebooks with colleagues. It is very efficient to have multiple people adding information into the same location. It's saved us a lot of time and effort.

It is great to have topics (files) and then, notes within each file. I am feeling extremely organized as an administrative assistant for my company.
I started for this team right when the pandemic (COVID-19) hit our area. So, I only worked in the office for one day...before I was assisting the team all from home. So, I had to have an electronic resource to take notes, make lists, keep track of all the "new" that I was learning.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Not every feature for things like tables are available within OneNote, so I had to change my expectations. Sometimes I just need to go out to Word or Excel and use a link to the document instead of being able to see the document right in the OneNote window.

Sometimes our company struggles with saving and sharing. We've since upgraded our systems, so it's gotten much better.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The other admins within our company use it to share 'how to' information. For example: How to submit invoices to accounts payable. We use OneNote to post additional tips and tricks to help each other work smarter and not harder.

As discussed in the 'what i like best' section, this program has helped me learn a new job and keep organized while working remotely. I don't have access to a printer and it would be difficult to write everything down. I can type much faster and keep information at my fingertips where ever I am.

  ### 15. Keeping myself and all my information organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer S. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is a lot of information that I track, whether it be professional or personal, and Microsoft OneNote allows me to do so from one location. I love that I can have tabs within tabs to not only keep a lot of information, but to keep it well organized and categorized. I use OneNote every single day professionally and personally.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is nothing specific that I dislike about Microsoft OneNote.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you are like me and have a lot of information or data to keep track of, definitely consider Microsoft OneNote. It helps me keep track of anything I want, from pertinent information to even thoughts I may have about our organization, and the tabs are really what does it for me. The ability to keep that kind of information, as organized as I can, is extremely valuable.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have my hands in a lot of cookie jars if you will, many professional endeavors that are often difficult to stay on top of. OneNote helps me keep track of personnel, numbers and emails, along with other pertinent information relative to what I do. It helps me keep my clients straight, and remembering their information is sometimes the most difficult part of my job.

  ### 16. Review on Microsoft OneNote

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

As of now i didn't face any issues with Microsoft OneNote.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can store every little things in OneNotes.
Easy to Use.
We can export the data.

  ### 17. Microsoft OneNote review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan A. | SME Optimization, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I have been using OneNote for more than 3 years now and it has never disappointed me. Love the way it arranges the tabs so I can collect and store and organize all my data at one place. Excellent tool to make beautiful and organized notes. Also, it synchronizes across different platforms such as laptops, tablets, cellphones and that helps accessing it from anywhere. I like the fact that it doesn't crop, distorts, or resizes the images when pasted into it from any source and is superlight and loads very fast.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Nothing actually. The fact that it is available on Android as well helps me syncing it and accessing it from anywhere. Price point can be decreased as it becomes costly to buy and implement.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Price point can be brought down as currently the package is quite costly and not falls in the budget of a common man

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making notes, documentation. Benefits include fast processing, collecting all data in one places. I use it mainly to make notes for a particular topic. It provides the benefit of arranging all notes in one place which can be arranged topic-wise

  ### 18. All-in-one note taking and brainstorming application!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaivignesh J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love the fact that I can take quick snippets from articles, blogposts, and general content that I come across in the web. Moreover, I love that all my notebooks are seamlessly synced between my devices. It also allows me to maintain transparency and accountability when it comes to my team's commitments. More than anything, it's the single most effective free productivity application out there in the market.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There's no auto-alignment which makes the whole experience feel really shabby. It becomes an even greater problem when you try to export your notes. There should be a built-in feature to auto-adjust font sizes and elements when you view it on different devices.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Microsoft OneNote for note-taking and project management. I've realised multiple PMO benefits as well as upticks in productivity after syncing it with my calendar. Moreover, this allows me to maintain an audit trail of deliverables and actionables.

  ### 19. I use this every day at work for notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norma N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Normally I do notes for myself only where I post my workflow and in the project updates I send by email I only put the highlights, but when someone asks for more detailed information(almost never happens) I can easily convert my notes to PDF and send them directly without extra work involved, just convert to PDF, send it and that is it.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Sometimes my notes created on my Mac refuse to sync to my other devices until I close the program and reopen it, on the upside on my iPhone and my tablet my notes always sync correctly. Another thing I dislike is that it shows the hour on the notes by default, luckily it is easy to just delete it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Use it as another work tool, don't mix personal notes.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes of all the projects I'm in charge of the schedule and pending tasks and when needing exporting to PDF

  ### 20. Great application for notes in an smartphone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylan M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is really intuitive to use on my phone and in my laptop and the notes look great in both devices, it is also synced to OneDrive so it is available on the browser and easily shareable to other people by PDF. I really enjoy OneNote since it saves me a lot of time in the long run.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is a great application but it's a work application at least for me and sometimes I tend to forget that and take personal notes that go into my corporate account, it would be really great if you can easily sync 2 accounts and decide a time in the day where notes go to your personal account and a time when notes go to your work account.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Don't mix work and leisure unless you own the company. You don't want your personal files on corporate servers.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes :)

  ### 21. Best tool to organize notes and to-dos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I am a big fan of OneNote and I use this tool every day. It is an amazing product of Microsoft that helps me to take and organize my notes and to share them with my colleagues. I often use the function to create alerts and reminders in my Outlook calendar. It synchronizes well with my desktop app, so I can access all my notes anywhere I want. Further, OneNote is offering a lot of different formatting options. Another great function is that you can create different sections with several pages to further organize your notes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is not possible, to add in OneNote documents to your notes that were created by other applications, even by other Microsoft applications.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft's OneNote in my every day life at work to take and organize my notes as well as to get an overview of my to dos. The whole tool is well structured and I am able to sort my notes with sections and pages which I can give another color.

  ### 22. Great to Use for Note-taking Program!

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that it makes it easy to find notes from different subjects and it auto saves, much better than trying to use Notepad or Word to keep track of notes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike that it's not used as much and isn't as known as the other MS Office Suite Programs.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing and taking notes

  ### 23. Good tool to keep track of my week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

At the start of every week I create 2 new notes in OneNote, the birthdays of the people in my team and the non-repetitive tasks that need to be accomplished in a week, for the first one I check it daily to make sure everyone feels appreciated and for the second one I check it twice a day, one at the beginning and one at the end to make sure I didn't miss something important. I have use it for more than 10 years and as a part of my daily routine I don't see it going away any time soon.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I'm a fan of OneNote, I think it's a tool that delivers what it promises and nothing more. I don't see any downsides.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Any note taking software works, even pen and paper but it is important to make reminders for yourself in a day to day basis

It is not just extremely comprehensive but additionally enables me to include photos to 1 of my personal favorite emails.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Truthfully, there is absolutely nothing I do not love. Often it is very frustrating when my job gets of control. I hate to hook up to the account of mine since it's a bit of boring.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I suggest this particular Microsoft program since it optimizes how crucial info is collected during business conferences, is useful and also really simple to operate, may manage the events of yours in the form associated with a digital notebook and may be split into pages and sections.

  ### 25. Digital Bliss - Makes life easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt H. | Owner, Technology Specialist and Consultant, Computer Hardware, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I can drag and drop anything into it. Anything! From websites to files. It will print files into a page or make a paper clip to the file. So many cool features.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I have no dislikes about this product. I have used it for years.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you find that you have notes on more than one computer, you want this. It is truly a digital notebook! I love that it syncs with all my devices. It integrates with all the office products. So, if you are in Word or Outlook you can link, say, emails with a click over to OneNote. Also, the drag and drop feature is amazing when it comes to web content. The drop of content that comes over is copied with the URL as to the origin. On the tablet side of things, you can take a digital pen to make notes and drawings within the notebooks as well. It is cool but not realistic for what I do. It even has handwriting recognition so it can convert it to a digital text. However, you have to have good handwriting to have it work properly. The software has been around a long time and has evolded to be an app in the Microsoft Store. Another cool feature is the auto table feaure where you can use tabbing to on the fly make tables.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On the go notes in one spot on all devices!

  ### 26. Great omnipotent notetaking app.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah M. | Graduate Teaching Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is an application that provides the user liberty to do anything at will. The user can take nows, draw tables, add pictures, create a checklist, everything that is required. The UI is simply beautiful and clean. THere is lot of support online if you get stuck on something.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is very little support for mathematic symbols and note-taking as a whole. Mathematics requires more liberty that is currently missing. Can be achieved with a writing stick.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Go for it. It is the best application that you can use to integrate and share information and documents seamlessly between your phone and desktop.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On the fly note-taking. I use Microsoft OneNote app and desktop app for notetaking and sharing and saving info on the fly. I also use is as virtual notebook to store information.

  ### 27. Great note for taking work notes on the go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabel N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Sometimes a problem stays on my head without any answer on sight until an idea pops to my mind and I need to write it so I don't forget I can just pull my phone and take a quick note and it will be available on my laptop later, since it syncs to my Office 365 account I can get it anywhere including the hotel PC(few months since that happened and I don't see this happen again until the pandemic is over) when I need to print something urgently.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I really like and dislike that is bound to a Office365 account because I have all my work notes with me all the time, but if I switch jobs all my notes are gone so no personal notes on OneNote for me, that's great because it helps separate work from non work, but that also means that I need another app for personal notes.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Keep your work notes and personal notes separate even if that means using 2 note taking apps

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking and drafting notes on the go, it also has camara integration, so that's great for when I need to draft over a picture.

  ### 28. Everything in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giuseppe M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote is unbeatable when it comes to multimedia note taking. I can type, record audio, drag a word document in, draw, categorize all of those things on one page. It's amazing

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

only once, I completely lost a page. I moved a page from one section to another. The app crashed and my page was completely gone. That was hard, because it was a document I'd spent the better part of an evening preparing for my boss.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping meeting minutes, personal notes, professional documents, brainstorms, etc, in one place, that I can access on EVERY device I have. It's unbeatable. My favourite use case: Creating training documentation. I can screen grab on my desktop, with my tablet next to my right hand, so I can draw on the document immediately, and go back to typing on the desktop, in a split second. Save my new article, and on to the next one. Simple.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

We use various types of data, such as text files, video, audio, photos, to create personal notes. The best way to manage all your notes is to store several notes in one subject. We have easy access to our notes and can use Microsoft .NET technology. There is no need to automatically back up your notes and there is no risk of losing our notes and important data.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There are no security features to protect your bills or important items. And there is a red line under the floor.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Create bills with various types of data on one sheet of paper, create credit notes because it is very appealing. You can also access the bills by logging into your Microsoft account. So try to do that.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to take notes with hidden details to make them more attractive. You can easily create more bills in less time, which helps us work on time. You can access your Microsoft account from anywhere in the world to get access to our important notes.

I don't have information that I don't like, it is a very practical tool.

  ### 31. Best way to have notes synced

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agatha D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It's easy to use and it just works, I usually make some notes on one PC or draft a quick idea on my iPhone and want them all synced, as long as it's on my Microsoft Account it just works seamlessly. If there is a limit on the number of devices I can use it I have not hit it yet. I was an Evernote user for some years but they lost me when they decided to decrease the device limit on free accounts. I was actually a paid user but switched because I couldn't swap notes with free users that decided to abandon it. So now we are all on Onenote.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I know that the application works better in Windows than in MacOSX, that should not be the case anymore, it's really easy to program cross-platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you already own a copy of Office 365 it's already included, so give it a shot unless you are already confortable with other notes software

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and syncing notes

  ### 32. I'm a fan of Microsoft Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjali C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Easy to create, easy to share, and great overall for work-related notes, the best is the integration with OneDrive that allows me to retrieve my notes from any device I want without any complexity involved, as long as I can do the two-step auth I can check this from any device, another good point is how easy is to export to PDF so anything I want to share by mail is 3 clicks away.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Syncing is sometimes slower from my MacOSX laptop so it sometimes uploads a note several minutes later and that means that if I just made a note before closing my PC and I want to check it later in the night I need to actually go to my laptop to check it but that also has a good side, since I got to think about it again and actually wait for tomorrow morning.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I like that it integrates with the company OneDrive so I don't mix work and leisure.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking work-related notes, mainly about the timing and specifics of a project

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote has all the basic features one would expect from such a application. We can take notes digitally while in online meetings and can be easily synced with calendar. On top of that we can add images, video clips or urls which makes it more interactive and less cluttered. We can collaborate with multiple users at once and can edit the note simultaneously. It allows us to create tasks and can be easily linked to outlook and calendar events. It can be accessed easily from mobile or any pc with just Microsoft account login.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It doesn't support google account login. Mobile application is not so comfortable in editing the note and needs major improvements. Formatting messes up when we edit in mobile application .

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Its a must have application in any organization. It has the best user interface and ease of access. Go for it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNote helps us to take notes online. It significantly reduced the hassle of taking tasks and syncing it with our calendar. It helps us to track the status of tasks of each member easily.

  ### 35. The best note taking app/software I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ameer H. | Corporate Communications Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I started using OneNote when I got my Windows 7 & 8 Phones, it was a great way to jot down notes but the I truly embraced it when I got my Surface Pro 3. The touch pen added another level to one note. I could easily write my notes, make pictures, annotate and even mark down stuff. It is extremely helpful in my day to day use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The app on Android phones is a little slow. Would love it if they could optimize it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note taking has been completed revolutionized for me, pen and paper do not cut it for me anymore.

  ### 36. One note for keep tracking and monitoring the progress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maran S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I have been using onenote for almost five years. Earlier I was using some notepad related applications like notepad++ and evernote. The best thing about onenote is that you can have mulitple collections in a single note and each collection can have multiple pages. So I used to have a collection like "Personal" where I'llbe having some pages like "Personality Management" & "Financial Management" and etc. I have one more collection called "Professional" where I'll be having some pages like "Python Programming" & "Java Programming" and etc. Basicllay this onenote is not a notepad file for me. It's a small application, where I can swtich between different navigation tabs to get the required data. I'll will not be like a text file. You can play with all your emojis, you can add web pages as like, you can add all your program snippits and shell commands. If you are a manager it will be very much useful for you to track the progress or needs of all the individuals in your team. it not like each activites should be opened in a separate file everything will be stored and can easil y be accessed in one place.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

To be honest, I don't have any negatives about onenote since it is a pretty stright forward application.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Just go for it. Thank me later.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We will gather status or needs of every individuals in our team in onenote, usually we will update onenote in our status call itself, I mean we will do it parally

**Reviewed by:** Ann A. | Relationship Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote is actually a fantastic note taking system with the capability to increase info to your paperwork page. OneNote laptop computers are also categorized and are able to be formatted so you may purchase them in ways that are different. Overall, this particular software is perfect for taking notes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote has a variety of different features, several of which could be ineffective, but might seem from moment to time while shooting notes. The invasion often turns text into tabular structure, and repairing them can often be dull.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Very useful application that combines nicely with SharePoint products for organizations of all sizes.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During business meetings I make use of the note to capture, monitor and share with the entire staff. All of us have a chance to access the exact same notes, exactly the same memories and we are able to all include them to our conference notes.

  ### 40. Fast and easy notes with instant cloud backup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke S. | Transaction Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love the fast flexibility of making notes within OneNote. You can put just about any kind of content exactly where you want it, without effort, and it'll be there when you come back. I love being able to use the hierarchies of pages and tabs to stay organized as well. Wish I would've had this in college!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I honestly don't have any complaints about OneNote. It's not as visually powerful as PowerPoint, but I don't need it to be

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

When I first got OneNote access, I held off on using it for a few months, because I had no idea what it was. Once I opened it, it took less than 10 seconds to figure out. This software is crazy flexible but stupid simple. If you've got the budget, this is a great idea.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it mainly to take notes on phone calls and organize to-do's on a couple long-term projects. It's also perfect as a repository for random bits of knowledge or paperwork you need occasionally.

  ### 41. Great tool to organize everything!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah S. | Director of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote has an amazing array of options for tracking and sorting all of your information and notes into one unique and convenient workspace. the ability to add full files, tables, HTML, and an assortment of ways to track info makes this an invaluable tool to use in managing the vast loads of data, facts, and notes that must be tracked and referred back to on a continual basis. Additionally I can integrate this with Microsoft Teams and have one place to reference everything i need and share that out to others. The tags and tabs features help you quickly find and track. you even have the ability to record voice notes and leave a recording to listen to. i don't have much use for the draw feature but there is one there if you have a stylus and tablet that you could take handwritten notes or sketch items to include.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Sometime the UI is a little bit clunky and finding new features or ways of doing something isn't as intuitive as I would like. But overall the full feature set overrides these concerns. some more full featured integration with the complete microsoft suite would be useful but i can't really complain.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

keep exploring it to understand it's full feature set and how many options you have available to you

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a manager of a team of thirteen that can have upwards of 100 active projects this tool solves tracking individual notes for each team member to reference later for reviews as well as a sport for project notes, personal training notes, and simple brainstorming sessions. All is easily referred back to and searchable for later use and reference. With many products to support it also allows a quick tool to act as a info dump of common problems, issues, and resolutions that are more personal than a knowledge database. i have also encouraged my team to use this to track their individual projects - what needs are still to be requested from the clients, what remaining small items they need to keep track of inside of the larger project task.

  ### 42. OneNote is the best application for jotting and keeping reminders.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles A. | Office 365 Technical Support Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I can easily open and make a note on my mobile phone and access them with any device connected to the internet all over the world.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote is very complex to use and it is also difficult to migrate data in OneNote across multiple devices or users.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I would recommend using Onenote for lectures and training sessions, really helps to capture and store media displayed on the monitor.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great tool for jotting media and also synchronizes with Microsoft sticky note

  ### 43. Very good program for notes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hector B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love the versatility of this program for keeping notes organized. Its simplicity is what makes it much more practical in every way. I have it installed on the home and work computer, and with just one account, I can have everything in one place.

With it, I can organize work materials and pending tasks that I have to do daily. It has many functions that make it ideal for organizing tasks.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

So far, I haven't noticed any negative changes when I use it. Some synchronization details are lost from time to time, but I think it's due to the somewhat unstable internet connection I have at home.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

To recommend, I tell you to use it, and since it comes incorporated in the latest version of Office, you will make an excellent investment by having it within the package. I would love for many people to be able to use it and thus exploit the quality of the product.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me to keep track of pending tasks, as I am a bit forgetful. I can dedicate some time to schedule and make my own timetable, and I keep daily records to not forget things. I have seen immediate results as I perform better at work and at home.

  ### 44. One Note - One place for everything !

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendra H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love that you can arrange multiple notebooks within the application and you can make them different via title and colors. Within these notebooks you can add sections and pages making it easier to organize your notes and be able to jump back and fourth to different areas fairly easily and quickly. I like that there is a search bar in which you can look for key words within your notes or titles of sections. OneNote is very similar to microsoft word so the homepage with all the editing tools is familiar and easy to use. I also like that you can make a to-do list and tag things as important.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There honestly isn't much not to like for my purposes. Though, i do think it can be quite difficult to switch OneNote accounts if you have them for multiple organizations. I wish there was a way you could consolidate all OneNote accounts into one rather than dividing up by email. This can make things more time consuming to switch back and fourth.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Best application out there, it gets the job done !

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that OneNote eliminates the need for paper and is the digital version of the old 5-subject notebook from grade school. It makes everything very customizable and organized which is great. It can also be backed up onto multiple devices which is extremely helpful if something were to happen to the original set (i.e. computer crashes, etc.). This also makes it easier to share files, documents, notebooks, etc. with peers, employers, friends, family, or whomever you may desire. It is also great because when sharing, the other individuals dont necessarily need a OneNote account to have access to the file.

  ### 45. Innovative tool easy to use. It keeps you organized.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natasha R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like the freedom to take, arrange and rewrite notes easily. It gives me a simple place to store accounts information, email templates and so on. Nice place to personalize, communicate quickly and connect even my lessons with colleagues. I use it for anything from notes to workshops, social media and class account notes. It is user friendly and one of my favorite tools. The efficiency that provides is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I wish it had been merged with Salesforce, would make passing notes better than copying and pasting. The online edition leaves plenty for you to expect. It lacks functionality and the gui appears to be clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is simple to use, offers fast outcomes and advantages for a number of different tasks and needs. Give it a shot, there is no chance you're going to be disappointed.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me a common spot to coordinate all of my tasks, streamlining workflows such as email templates and messaging. This helps my colleagues and my students to get real-time updates and up-to - date research content. That's the best gain we've made to date.

  ### 46. A No Brainer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher L. | Youth Group Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is designed to work just like a tabbed notebook that everyone is used to using, so it doesn't take a lot of explanation when showing people how to use the tool. The company I work for tends to bit a little more old school, so it's not uncommon for coworkers to still rely on handwritten paper notes and notebooks filed away. Needless to say, they rarely if ever can find the information they're looking for, meanwhile I can use the search bar and find it in seconds without opening a single drawer.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The only issue I ever run into is when I put too many tabs in a single Notebook, the names of those tabs become hidden. I wish there was a way to customize the size of the tabs without having to change the names. I find myself shortening the names of the tabs so I can see more of the tabs at once. It would be better if I could make the size smaller showing only the first part of the name, and then when I click on the tab, the entire tab name is shown.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Make the size of the tabs customizable.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Especially as a new employee, you get a ton of information thrown at you. While taking notes, I know that I am actually learning, but will be able to find the information later in a very organized format.

I can also attach any documentation within my personal written notes, really enhancing my understanding.

  ### 47. One of the best Personal and team note making tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megha L. | Megha, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

For the team retrospections or any meeting where many members need to write points simultaneously, this tool is very helpful. For personal note making also very good. Sync up speed is better. The security is good with the Microsoft OneNite. This is one of the best multi user collaboration softwares out there in the market currently. It is useful to take notes and gather information from even multiple people and store it. The information stored can be accessed with any device after syncing up. It's integrations with other Microsoft applications like MS Word, MS Excel and Microsoft Excel are very useful.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Heavy tool, expensive, more data consuming. The person who is having a slightly slower or slower internet connection, when using a common page where multiple members are posting notes ,may miss out on the latest updates since the application is too heavy to load with the slower internet connectivity.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you are using a lot of Microsoft products, then if it comes with them, no wrong in using them. The things to consider while opting for Microsoft OneNote is that its benefits with respect to your usage outweighs it's limitations and drawbacks. It is important that the internet connectivity is good for using Microsoft OneNote for the better experience in working and taking notes in Microsoft OneNote. The application is bit on the heavier side both in terms of Memory and internet consumption. Then you can go for it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For retrospective meetings and personal note makings, it provides better experience and security. With a lot of other Microsoft ecosystem applications, the posting and updating on OneNote becomes very easy. The important mails , documents, spreadsheets, notes, retrospection points, analysis items, rough drafts of many documents can be easily stored in OneNote which is a digital Notebook. The integration with the Microsoft word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel and a lot of other applications proves to be very useful.

OneNote is actually a digital notes that will help store info in one spot. Your digital notebook can easily be saved in the cloud to hold all of your info up-to-date on devices that are different. You are able to also share your laptops and information very successfully, because things are updated in time that is real, wherever you're or even what device you make use of. Because Microsoft products are actually similar to other items, existing owners can readily recognize them.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote appears a bit underrated. I believe we could have a lot more qualities. I have not had some claims about the OneNote so much, I have had it for more than ten years.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It's really simple to use and you are able to gather notes and folders. It's a great spot to take notes about tasks etc.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration with the cloud actually helped us to remain a staff and freed us from dependency on devices or people as a supply of info. Additionally, it functions better compared to conventional notes as well as take note sharing, making our info a lot richer and more valuable.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

He's an excellent organizer. OneNote is not only written and saved text but also an excellent way to preserve my imagination. It's also a perfect way to shoot. Many new colorful notes are available. I love that in the application you can organize multiple notebooks and distinguish them through title and colors. You can add sections and pages in these notebooks to encourage the organizing of your notas and can easily and rapidly move back and forth to various areas. I like that, in your notes or titles of sections, there is a search bar where you can find key words.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Personally, for my purposes, I don't like it. But it can't be synced online sometimes. Nonetheless, it was a minor error in this situation, since backups are often optional. When you have oneNote accounts for many organisations, I think it can be very difficult to move them. I wish all OneNote accounts could be consolidated in one rather than divided by e-mail. It can take time to go back and forth.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Best technology out there. I had taken a while, but now I use it every day for other things than work. That, from the accounts viewpoint, is the approach I want.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want OneNote to avoid paper restrictions and it is the old diary 's digital edition. It's all very adaptable and structured, which is awesome. This can also be enabled by several machines, which are incredibly useful to the original group if anything occurs (e.g. machine crashes ...). The sharing with colleagues, employers, friends , family or whomever you want makes files, documentation, notebooks etc. also easier. It is also great because other people don't need a OneNote account to access the file when sharing. Project work cards, appointments and to-do lists. To me, that's a lot of work. This is an convenient way to control the network.
