Possibility to quick Access and information adding .Big amount of information in one cloud place . Also good for personal information storage with possibilities to add video and audio recordings. Project and home information core library .I like one note system and suggest to everybody to use it for personal and business purposes.Very nice sync across all your devices and acess from all PC and mobile platforms.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft products have one common problem-their interfaces are to complicate in some points. Things are going better, but some times its also happened in one note also. Difficult to understand sharing system and all Access permisions. Settings are to complicate for common user . Interface is not intuitive and needs knowledge of MS system basics ,which is problem for some users.MS licence system is difficult to understand and in generally not really( by understanding!!) accepted by users .I be happy to see more innovations in users interface and improvements in intuitive style of it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Great tool ,use it!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its our basic team information storage and sharing tool. WE can share all new information about all projekts ,add it and use for work. Personal one note is my core place for information storage and organization and I like it.

  ### 2. Fantastic way to get rid of paper and work out of a digital notebook

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Systems Engineer, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love the ability to stop using paper and the ability to use this on all my devices. I use this extensively for work but also for personal life as well to keep track of things on a day to day basis.

Specifically for work I love the ability to add my meetings which tie to the outlook calendar and take notes without having to bring any paper in the meeting. I also can add to my iPad and use the apple pencil when I need to draw or hand write different things. This is extremely beneficial to me as it increases productivity on a day to day basis.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There isn't much I don't like about OneNote. It does everything that I want it to do and I don't have any complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you are considering this for your personal use or for your business use I strongly recommend as you will gain efficiencies immediately.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The overall problem that was trying to be solved with this product is the ability to collaborate with others in your department as well as pull up notes and other information from anywhere on any device. This has been a huge time savings to everyone in the department and will continue to save time as years go by as we can easily search for whatever we are looking for in a matter of seconds as opposed to pulling out notebooks of paper to try and find what we are looking for.

  ### 3. The Ideal Tool for Productivity, Notes, and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesus V. | Residency Program Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote solves a lot of issues - it is the cure to paper notepads that we all need. During meetings, I no longer have to flip through pages or notes and hope I can read my own handwriting. Instead, I can have all my notes in hand, keep main source documents available, sort, share, and annotate those notebooks with other colleagues. I enjoy the ability to use the app with the iPad and it's ability to sync with the desktop versions; I've been able to keep various notebooks and take notes on Power points using that feature. I use the checklist feature extensively to make sure my team and I are keeping track of everything we need to do.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I wish the pencils that you can use came in more colors and shades. I do think that it is lacking some features with the touch-sensitive area; sometimes when annotating a document or page, it will save it differently, leaving the notes in a different area than where they were written. You can move the doc within the page over to fix the overlap, however it is a bit annoying to do.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

OneNote is a solid tool for productivity; highly recommend it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This solves the problem of keeping various paper notebooks, but just having it all in one specific location. It is a game changer and helps immensely with being prepared.

  ### 4. An Excellent Tool For Everything

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Can't say there's much I dislike about it. Could have more marketing so more people get into it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Give it a shot and spread the word! It's great for personal use and for work. You can house your spread sheets all in one easily accessible area, or your benefits info, training documents plus templates into one easy to find spot that can be easily shared.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to ramp up and share information. Can consolidate it into a resource for anyone regardless of level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukáš B. | Freelance, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

With OneNote you can easily capture any of your ideas, webpages or any Office files (.doc,.xls, etc.) into a note. You can use it as a common known tool - Paint and draw your ideas with no effort. It is divided into a few sections - first a Notepad (imagine it as a book) then a Section (chapter in a book) and a Page (pages in a book). This enables to you sort your information into well-arranged digital notepad.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I don't like the feature when editing a document (.xls or .doc) that was attached into OneNote you have to save the document on your hard drive and attach it again.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you need to have lot of information on one place, you should definitelly consider using OneNote as your main note-taking app.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many ideas that needs to be captured and sorted are now accessible everywhere.

  ### 7. Very good feature for making note.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I wish they have feature to export notes. If it is already there i do not know about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Best way to make virtual notes. Good for online classes, webinars etc

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making note while studying.

  ### 8. The one of the best note taking Application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hemant Singh C. | Assistant System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Its best feature is its FREE. Earlier it used to be piad with Microsoft Office subscription. Now, its free.
Its cross platform and works like a charm in Windows based system. Good in other platforms too... iOS, Android, Mac, etc.
One can create unlimited notes and if you have Microsoft Account (personal or Office365), you can sync across various Microsoft applications.
It has a nice web-Clipper which works quite impressively.
Intuitive formatting within notes, linking notes and templates which comes with OneNotes.
Best for big projects.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Its biggest drawback is its interface. On a Windows PC is still fine, but across mobile, its not that fluid as its main competitor Evernote.
Web Clipper is great, but not as smooth as of Evernote.
For saving quick information or notes, its not that handy.
Its not same across various platforms that is in iOS, Android, PC, Mac.
For mobile, it usually takes time to load. Not fast enough for quick notes.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

For Office... I always recommend Microsoft OneNote.
Its intuitive, easy to do formatting, and very handy for meetings and presentations.
PC version of OneNote leaves every other notes in the shade.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its best for taking and sharing MoMs with teams across various geographical locations.
Its handy for creating notes in laptop/desktop and taking screen shots and attaching it to the notes.
For big projects, keeping and managing data is clean and fast. Its intuitive and provides great formatting functionality.
At works, its embedded with Offce 365 for more features across various Microsoft applications like MSOffice, Microsoft Excel, OneDrive etc.

  ### 9. Great for capturing all of your thoughts!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessilon M. | Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that I am able to use OneNote for just about anything. I can record my thoughts and make a "To-Do List" all in one place. If you always have your computer with you, this is the best way to take notes. Typing is so much faster than writing and OneNote makes it fun by providing different fonts and colors for you to chose from while you are note taking or simple making your own "To-Do List!"

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There is nothing that I dislike about OneNote. It is a fun way to take notes!

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Microsoft OneNote is a great tool for making sure all your thoughts and/or ideas are all recorded in one place!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to compile all my thoughts in one place. I am able to organize and plan by using OneNote for a majority of my note taking!

  ### 10. OneNote is a great place for notes and to-do lists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole P. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that OneNote offers options for multiple Notebooks and different colored tabs to help distinguish notes in different areas. This tool is especially useful when keeping notes on multiple clients during calls - I love copying and pasting the information right into our CRM. It's easy to add pages or sections to the notebook, and these notes can be accessed on other devices as long as you sign in to your account.

There are a lot of ways to customize the pages with things such as color, rule lines, and even an option for Immersive Reader which reads the notes out loud to you. This tool would be excellent for studying!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

While there isn't much I dislike about this too, the only thing that comes to mind is the fact that it can be difficult to scroll and highlight a lot of information at once in order to copy it. The scroll doesn't work very well when highlighting the text.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

OneNote is a great way to take notes in a convenient web-based platform. Instead of files, you'll have convenient notes in a notebook of your choice. The information is easy to share or print if needed, but this allows you to save some paper and ink

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've saved numerous notebooks and pens by using OneNote for meeting notes. I also save time by not having to type my notes out when transferring them into our database. I enjoy the way I can easily reference my notes according to how I categorized them.

To-do lists are also very helpful with this tool! There are check-box that allows you the satisfaction of checking things off as you go.

  ### 11. Save some special moments of life with OneNote

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh Ranjan S. | Software Devloper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

We can access our notes from anywhere by logging in through a Microsoft account. We can create notes of priceless moments of life with stories, pictures, videos, and audio. This makes a complete album that feels like personal data that we can look back on in life. We can also use it in professional life as well as non-professional. We can also save some important tips and tricks which can be easily accessible with a Microsoft account.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

There are no personal security features for any proper notes. When we save some secrets on them, we must ensure they are secure. When we use this for story writing, a red underline appears below every word, even when the word is correct.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

You can use OneNote to create important notes that you can easily access with your Microsoft account, which helps you remember things very easily. You can also use it professionally as well as in personal life for making notes and albums.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this to create notes of some important documents and to make an album of our priceless moments in both our personal and professional lives. This helps me remember past moments within a minute anywhere in the world. This also helps save some formulas and secrets that make our life easier.

  ### 12. Most Advanced Digital Notebook

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hazbar S. | Commercial Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote is one of the best productivity applications out there. I use it very regularly. The best thing about this application is its user experience, smooth and easy. It is really simple to work on it.
However, specifically speaking, one of the best features of the application is how neatly the sections and pages are arranged, created or managed.
In addition, the freedom & flexibility to take notes in any possible manner, whether photos, text (bullet points etc.), drawings, audio or video, makes life really easy,
Another one of the noticeable features is the ability to seamlessly save all the notebooks on the cloud and access them from any device, at any time.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The only thing that is a bit confusing while using OneNote is working on the independent boxes that are formed in the pages when any information is entered. Their management needs to improved, for example an option to automatically arrange them or restrict overlapping of these boxes etc. would have been useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend that everyone should give OneNote a try. The vast variety of the features available will keep you interested for a long time. Keep exploring and every day you would find a new thing about this application. Without any doubt, this definitely improves productivity.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Note taking
- Recording data that would be needed later on
- Saving screenshots from different places
- Capturing content from Websites
- Storing information for instantaneous use or for long term storage

  ### 13. Why wouldn't you use OneNote? Honestly, I can't see any reason not to.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Digital Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote syncs across all of my devices, has touch input so I can type using a stylus on my laptop or my phone, and I can categorize in folders and subcategorize. There's a search functionality so I can find the note I'm looking for, copy in things from outside OneNote and it sometimes auto-includes a link from where I copied it from (like a URL), and it's outrageously intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The only thing I can possibly think is exporting notebooks aren't the easiest in the world. To export an entire notebook, like when migrating accounts, just exported them as a giant PDF. It wasn't particularly helpful, didn't have the same functionality and usability, and was also almost entirely my fault for having to go through this process, so I'm not terribly upset about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If I lose access to my Office 365 Account, my notes go away (unless I've exported them), so that's potentially worth considering if you want one thing across work and personal. You can export it, but if your new place doesn't have OneNote, you won't have all the same functionality, just a big PDF document.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I take all of my notes in OneNote - internal meetings, industry events. I used to type things almost exclusively on my laptop, then I switched to handwriting using a stylus (for the same laptop), now I use my stylus on my personal phone and it auto-syncs to my laptop, so I don't have to carry anything around, and I remember better since I'm hand-writing it instead of typing.

  ### 14. Organization made easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love having multiple notebooks and being able to paste other documents within them.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I don't like that I can't do formulas or calculations within any sheets

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend using OneNote as an all inclusive calendar and to-do list. You can breakout your notebooks by weeks for easy organization.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of having multiple locations where I store data and notes. I have realized the benefit or being able to paste emails and other links within my notebooks.

  ### 15. The best to be ordered

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gianella A. | Analista financiero, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It is a complete content organization system, it is easy to install, it is multiplatform, you can access it from your PC and mobile devices, we can organize a large number of diverse contents in an accessible, convenient and simple way. the best thing that we spend less paper and use this digital tool that in turn gives me many advantags

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

One note has only brought me benefits I have nothing negative to say, it is simply excellent

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend it because OneNote has very specific functions that are compelling reasons to implement the tool in our daily work. The possibility of carrying all your well-organized notes saves money and time since you will not have to spend on paper that is a great advantage, It is good to have a tool like this. I recommend it

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this tool I have everything in place, All the content we generate with the tool is automatically saved on the Internet and synchronized on all devices where we have opened the notebooks. We can work in groups share information

  ### 16. OneNote, the modern day notebook

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote is my go to notebook to record meeting minutes, ideas, thoughts, concepts, screen shots, images, and files. It helps to keep a record of my train of thought and helps to sort through complex and dynamic concepts. There are imbedded features one can add to each notebook page such as tables, check boxes, bold text, etc. It is easy to rearrange sections.

Microsoft Onenote organize in multiple layers through different notebooks and different section and pages within each notebook. The notebooks can also be shared with your coworkers with real tine updates.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

While Onenote is certainly a faster method to capture notes on a electronic notebook, there are limitations to its format which are generally more flexible with a writing notebook. For example, one can draw equations, diagrams, flows/maps interchangeably on a written paper notebook while in OneNote the flexibility to switch between those different options are not as quick and easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is great for meeting minutes and to share a record of 1:1 meetings

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft OneNote helps captures meeting minutes, action items, collaborative files (e.g. slidedeck, reference documents) all in one location. Its helpful to keep a team organized with their files linked and action items listed. The multiple sections, pages and notebooks help to reduce the number of files (generally multiple files if done in Word) into one notebook file.

  ### 17. An incredible organizer of notes and data, it has a good versatility and ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabiola L. | Ingeniero civil, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote makes it very easy to organize data through notebook concepts which is a very thematic way to keep a good organization, What I like most about this program is its mobile application since it is very easy to use and navigate in her, this means that I can have my notes with me wherever I go, it has incredible tabs which offers a quick search even without using the search function, this is a program in which you can create a wide variety of folders and subfolders so that you can save all your notes and keep a good organization, excellent program that not only accepts text but also multimedia content such as images, photos, videos among many other things, I love it because it synchronizes perfectly with OneDrive, Microsoft OneNote is a program that handles the synchronization of the cloud very well across several devices, Apart from all this Microsoft OneNote has an incredible interface which is very good for a program like this will allow the user who is using it to have an incredible performance in everything he is doing

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

One of the things I do not like about this program is that it does not allow the user to create a personalized note template, in the mobile application the recognition of the pencil is not so fast and I would like the notes to be stored in more programs not only in OneDrive, but having said that I have no more negative comments to say.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend this program because it is a tool with which you can take notes and keep a good organization of them, it can be used on different platforms and keep all portals updated.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft OneNote has been very helpful in the growth of the company because with this program we have been able to take the problem of the organization to another level, it has allowed us to link the notes of the meetings we have had through the devices and platforms.

  ### 18. student user

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuj C. | 3rd year medical student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like being able to keep all my notes consolidating in one area. It helps organize thoughts, and I love the searchability and ability to make it like a true notebook

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Sometimes it is quite clunky - uses a lot of data on phone, sometimes slow. Not great with PDF insertion, but doable.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Honestly a great sourece overall. I would highly consider switching to this integrated software

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly the above - the clunkiness is frustrating. I like the concept of the desktop app bing the primary source but just like any cloud device, I can use it from a different computer. The searchability particularly becomes useful when I'm in clinic and I have a pertinent question I want to answer for a patient - I can even check it on my phone.

  ### 19. To manage and organize your notes, in a single tool you can do it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis G. | Ingeniero de software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote has been very helpful throughout the labor market, this is a program that will manage your data correctly, you can have a good organization when you start using it, Microsoft OneNote will help you synchronize the account simply and quickly on any computer and access notes, you can create a large number of folders which will allow you to enter all the notes and thus be able to carry a better organization, I love that not only text can be written but you can also enter any type of image, video and voice note, I love Microsoft OneNote since it has an incredible interface with which I can work in a calm and very effective way its incredible ease of use will allow you to correctly enter the business, and so when using it For the first time you will not have any kind of inconvenience, Microsoft OneNote is an excellent tool since it has a mobile application that will allow you to follow r connected to any place you go.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I would like Microsoft OneNote to have better integration with other services, importing the catalogs of the notes of other users disorganizes part of the functionality of the previous notes, as for others I can say that I am satisfied with what I have achieved so far, This has been a very helpful tool and I have nothing more negative to add about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I use OneNote as a stand-alone application, since it is a tool for students as teachers, its interface is very easy and very intuitive, in addition to having a very fast search function, I can also insert all your notes easily and quickly, you need Being connected to the Internet to use it, and that is not good news compared to other similar tools. What I like most is the ease of use it offers, I must say that it has a really intuitive design that allows and accepts the creativity of the user in the collection of information, I also love the integration that it maintains with Android devices, this is a excellent advantage because you can download the OneNote mobile application.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

What I like least about this type of programs is that sometimes the formatting capacity is limited, in addition to not having a good contextual menu, on the other hand, I would like to have images, gifs and emoticons already loaded directly into the software and use them in my personal and professional notes, there is another detail that I have noticed, that my pages remain blank, and to solve it I have to leave the program and start it again.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I recommend its use, it is a good tool, since it is compatible with the entire package offered by Office.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a good option to take notes, I can structure curricula, workshops, etc. It also helps me keep all my passwords and notes on my projects in one place and group them, which is amazing.

Its easy to add image on the notes, even through app.
It also provide user an option to go though all the recent changes in the notebook, which is a great plus point considering other note application.

Although Microsoft OneNote provide functionality to search through all notebooks, but its lags or takes too much time when there is a lot of data to search on.
Although the mobile app is great to read note, but still need to improve on the writing part in android application

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNotes offer a solitary spot to enter, oversee and get to every one of your notes. It gives adaptability by they way you compose your substance. From basic note taking to progressively complex designs and pictures, OneNotes gives you a chance to arrange in productive ways. The utilization of labels encourages you find what you need over various scratch pad, segment and pages. No all the more exploring through unpredictable and unwieldy organizer chains of command. OneNotes is a huge archive instrument that replaces numerous different apparatuses. Utilizing OneNotes frees you of discrete Tasks or schedules, document archives, and even computerized media. OneNotes gives you a chance to join all your electronic documents into a solitary spot and oversee it such that works for you. This degree of adaptability is the thing that gives OneNotes the power it has and its fame.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

One thing I could ever need in OneNote is the joining between different stages, Currently, Onenote enables you to make notes or archives to impart it to just OneNote clients, while in the event that I need to impart it to Evernote clients it won't give me a possibility for that. Also, I can not import Evernote's reports notes into OneNote or the other way around. There are different courses through which you can do it however for that one needs to download a relocation device. The security is likewise one of the issues which I generally think about when making any close to home note where I needed it to be scrambled with a secret word.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNotes has been a piece of my arms stockpile of devices for the undertaking condition. I have utilized it on an individual level too. I have utilized both the loal and cloud variant, picking the cloud because of my capacity to access from any gadget. You can likewise include a neighborhood duplicate, contingent upon your membership level, and adjust your online substance to your nearby machine. This aides in keeping your information in 2 places without a moment's delay.

  ### 24. Useful too for easy access to changing information

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Once set up, provides an easy solution to ensuring remote teams have access to latest information - content can be easily maintained by multiple users, and seamlessly accessible to a much wider team. Quickly becoming our go-to place to store key information.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Setting up the sharing permissions can be a little confusing, and can only give users edit permissions for an entire document, not page-specific, which would be nice. Also can be very confusing if trying to move the location of the source file - it's defaulted to my OneDrive which will cause issues should I wish to hand-over ownership to another colleague.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

One of those tools that until you strat using it, you don't appreciate how useful it can be. We started off just exploring ideas and quickly found it a great way to share information across a wide team, and equally a good 'jotter' for me to keep track of my own thought, ideas, to do lists, useful information etc. Finally I am no longer the cause of Post-It note shortages and am complying with our clear desk policy!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have staff operating remotely throughout the UK. Information previously captured in standalone documents and distributed by email made it harder to control and distribute changes. This is now all done seamlessly, information can be accessed by mobile device or laptop, so no need to save hardcopies locally and reassurance that only up to date information is being accessed.

  ### 25. The best collaboration option for businesses today

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eimear M. | Finance Associate, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The instant ability to see what you and others are adding to the document. The ability to split the document into other sections as necessary. I find it to be a very useful tool particularly for training and keeping notes in one easy to use accessible place. It's a lot easier to keep all notes in online rather than in various different notebooks. It is also useful that we can access our OneNote documents on mobile devices as well as desktop applications and on the web. OneNote also allows us to combine everything onto the one page or document, we are not limited to what we can place on this document and can even include audio and videos. It is more useful for personal use and note keeping rather than professional documents. A further advantage with OneNote is that all the pages within the document can be arranged into tabs and notebooks. These can be further customised with tags to further categorise your notes by certain words or terms. A useful aspect of OneNote is the ability to roll back documents via the history which is necessary in team projects should important information be accidentally removed.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The least helpful aspect of OneNote is the times the document does not update and you have lost previous information. As it's based online it can be difficult to access the information should you have connectivity issues which can be problematic. It can appear messy particularly as you can place text and images where ever you would like, this can make the document appear unprofessional and for this reason isn't used for client meetings or documents rather just for note keeping and training internally.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I would advise others wary about the high cost associated with Microsoft Office and OneNote to consider the various advantages associated with the software. The cost may first appear high but it really improves productivity and aids in training enormously. The office packages can be used both for personal and business use and thus this should also be considered when purchasing.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use of Microsoft OneNote within my day to work has aided my ability to make easily accessible notes for myself and others within the business. Through the use of OneNote we can share personal training documents and keep up to date with any changes made instantly.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

This is a program that is integrated in the Microsoft Office package with which you can take the organization of your company or office correctly and safely, this is a program that will be very useful when you are in a conference, it allows you use different templates so that you can facilitate your work, you can create several shortcuts so that you can link, I love this tool since it is not only text but you can insert multimedia content so that your notes stand out a little more, you can insert images, photos, and even audio, I like it because it is very easy to find any type of information in your notes that you have written in the past, Microsoft OneNote is a very easy to use program that has an interface that will give you all the tools so that you can work easily and quickly, which will facilitate the work for new users who are not familiar with the platform, one of its strengths Lezas is also that this program has an incredible mobile application that integrates incredibly with iOS and Android, is synchronized with the cloud, and integrates very well with Microsoft Outlook.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The iphone application can sometimes present some failures in its use, it needs integration with other services, it should improve formatting because sometimes it is usually a bit limited, having several accounts has caused many problems, but with respect to everything else It is amazing and I can say that I have no more negative comments to say about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Microsoft OneNote is 100% recommended because it has an employment which is undoubtedly the best your organization is amazing and can be used by anyone.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 28. Taking next level notes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arwin B. | Assembly, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It's dead simple: it just works. It does everything, for example you can place text anywhere on the screen Making tables is very easy using the tab-key, and giving your text a good layout is also easy because it works just like other MS-Office apps. It's convenient that the keyboard shortcuts are the same as any other microsoft office app, so there is no feeling of switching to a very different program. You feel at home from the first second. Besides that it is nice that you can create endless categories.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It's hard to dislike OneNote, but it has some things that are quite annoying. First of all I find it to be annoying that you can't change the color scheme of the program or anything for that matter. You always have a bright purple interface what I don't like. Especially at night there is a need for a darker theme. The competition does have some more options on the side of personalisation, I'm talking about EverNote or Bear for example.

Besides the lack of personalisation options, I find OneNote to be a little blurry sometimes on higer-res screens like the screen of the 2019 Macbook Pro. It takes a while for Microsoft to fix these little bugs, they are not really listening to there users. Also I find it to be a bit strange that there are two versions of OneNote, one modern one and one older one. But you are forces to use the older one, because that one does have more options. So Microsoft: a update would be on his place here.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Just try it out and find out if it works for you. If you are used to Microsoft apps you will like it.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pen and paper is oldschool, I don't use it anymore for notes. Because of OneNote I became very efficient in organizing and making notes.

  ### 29. OneNote for notetaking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selim S. | Procurement Chief, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Since OneNote is a Microsoft product it is very easy for office users to get used to this product. You have all styles and options that Ms Word has, plus there is a screenshot feature much sophisticated than windows built in screenshot app.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

With the Windows 10, the screenshot shortcut key switched from Windows + S to Windows + Shift + S since Windows + S is shortcut key now used by Windows Search. It it very hard to adjust new shortcut key.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you get used to use Ms Office programs, you don't need to look for other notetaking programs!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am keeping all my work related and personel notes on OneNote. Now my notes are more categorized and tidy than ever. I wish there is also encrypted vault option to keep my passwords and credit card information

  ### 30. OneNote Excellent for Agency Account Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I love that OneNote can accept my handwritten notes (via iPad) and allow me to keep detailed, time-ordered accounts of all client meetings and interactions, while keeping my notes separated by client and/or sub-pages. I also love that it syncs immediately between my desktop and my tablet so that I can bring up-to-the-minute research into client meetings, and can choose to type or handwrite entries. It's also incredibly helpful to add and insert photos, spreadsheets, etc. directly into my notes for quick and easy reference of external information.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

OneNote on my iPad occasionally has connectivity issues when other wifi devices are not experiencing problems. I also sometimes find it difficult to navigate between archived information and current pages, which adds time and inconvenience during client meetings.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

OneNote is particularly effective for organizing information with multiple levels of hierarchy - I love that I can organize by job role, client, and then keep pages for individual meetings, with additional subpages for any related research or notes.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneNote saves me an incredible amount of time by being able to quickly document and review all information for a single client, without having to page through numerous other clients' information or keep everything in separate notebooks or documents. It ensures that I always have all of my notes and information with me, but also allows me to handwrite in client meetings and maintain more open communication than I would be able to achieve with a laptop.

  ### 31. One of the best programs to organize your life

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

What I like most about this program is its ease of use and the possibility to create infinite ways to make annotations, reminders, to create personalized calendars or organizers. It is very intuitive, practical, dynamic, and can also be used on different devices, so you can have your reminders or information from your mobile or tablet.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

What I like least about this type of program, including OneNote, is that it requires discipline or the creation of a habit of use to fully engage and adapt it as a part of life. Normally, some people would prefer something easier like a digital calendar or simply a notebook.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From the moment I started taking on many responsibilities, I needed a program that went beyond, a program in which I could create my own organizational conditions and in which I would not have storage limitations or limitations on my creativity, and also allowed other people to get involved in some of my reminders or notes.

  ### 32. I LOVE using OneNote!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney H. | Director of Marketing, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The best thing about OneNote is all of your projects and notes can be in one place. And if you set it up properly you can have access to it all the time. I love that you can collaborate with people and change things in real time.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I really haven't had many dislikes. Sometimes trying to print pages or downloading something had it's challenges but that wasn't really a big deal.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

If you're looking for a great platform to collaborate with a team and edit in real time then this is an awesome way to do it. It can hold a HUGE amount of information. You can add links so if someone is looking at a page you can link it to other documents or websites. We loved using it and I would use it again!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We actually used it for an audit and had everyone upload the hundreds of documents we needed for the audit. It was excellent I used it to keep track of all of my job tickets for marketing. I was going to implement a ticket system for our maintenance team as well but we went a different route.

  ### 33. Using Microsoft One note during class lesson for taking class notes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The things I like best are the powerful tools bundled with the software for iPad, possibility of including different type of data, such as pdf, text, images etc; in particular then also the synchronization with other devices which works very fast even without taking care

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The thing I dislike the most is the lack of a management of exporting notes to PDF, which worked very well in One note 2016, but in the mobile verson and the new package which comes with Office365 the export to PDF handle all the notes in one page, making difficult to print for studying.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Use a devices which provide stylus support for the best experience

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solved the problems of taking with me different bloc notes, pens, lack of possibility of writing of media files such as pdf (Data sheets) , I can easily include images or making graphs without wasting time, then simply modify something is needed, which took a very long time previously

  ### 34. Productivity at its best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Digital E. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

From the user interface to the wide variety of features available, OneNote is one of the best productivity applications out there. Anything that you can think of, related to note taking, OneNote can do it for you. To do lists, picture notes, bullet points, tabs, pages, attachments, name it and its there.
Thus, the overall user experience, ease and effectiveness of this software is probably the best thing about this application. And the second best thing is how the content is saved in this application, just input anything and close the app right away. It will be retained.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

One of the most risky things about onenote is that if you accidentally delete something and close the application, it does not prompt to save and close the app. Thus, the data is lost. Secondly, managing the workbooks linked with your accounts is somewhat complex. I thinks it can be made more easy. Otherwise, all is well!

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Look no further. I would recommend that you use OneNote at least once before moving on to any other software. The number of features, ease of use, connection with hotmail and onedrive etc. are things that elevate the overall experience of using this app. The mobile version is also very cool and smoothly synchronizes with the desktop version. Highly Recommended!

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Taking daily notes.
- Taking and saving meeting notes, screenshots etc.
- Availing important information anytime, anywhere.
- Keeping up to date
- Storing important information

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Context: I'm a recruiter and I use it for all of my screen/interview note taking...
-The search function. I use it constantly and for things like... Search: "XBox" to help find who it was I spoke with last week that worked on XBox at Microsoft OR to find everyone I've ever spoken to who worked on XBox at Microsoft
-I can "print" resume .pdfs to OneNote and the text on them is searchable as well
-I use the folders to keep track of all of the recruiting projects I have running at once
-I can easily share a notebook of candidate notes with another recruiter or hiring manger
-If I ever leave the company, but want to keep my rolodex and all of my notes, I can just back-up OneNote to an external hard drive and walk out the door

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Once again, relevant context: I'm a recruiter and I use it for all of my screen/interview note taking...
-There is limited functionality w/ tables that you create on a page. Ex. they can only get so small and you can't merge cells
-You can put a page "under" another page, but not a page under a page under a page. You can only go 2 steps down
-There isn't an easy way to make a table of contents for a section
-You can't use certain characters (ex. "&") in a folder name
-Limited functionality in the "templates". Ex. you can't create a temple of multiple pages, you can't easily change the order that the page templates are displayed, and you can't group them

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note-taking
CRM
To-do list
Sharing notes w/ teammates

  ### 36. MS OneNote program experiences

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Burak K. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The application was installed with the office program and very fast. I was able to install as one if I wanted. The menus and menu design are very nicely built. The software works without any problem and no effort. It is supported by microsoft and has very high quality services. The application interface is also very good visually.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I think it's a program that does the job and does the job it promises. My comments about the program are positive. It has no features I dislike.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I keep my corporate notes and reminders about the company and my personal notes in the program. I have been using the application for 2 years. Previously, there were pieces of paper all over my desk at the company, and I would stick my notes on the edge of my computer screen. it's a very old way to follow, and I couldn't follow anything. Since we activated one note on our company computer, we haven't missed any details.

  ### 37. Simple, user-friendly cloud-based note-taking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna D. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

This program makes it really easy to sync notes and outlines across devices. It's very intuitive, and required no lengthy introduction or walk-through before use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I wish there was more capability to nest notes into categories, and then to be able to collapse grouped sub-pages. (This seems to depend on the version you're using -- One Note online doesn't allow collapsing, while the downloadable desktop app does. But even then, only some groups are collapsible.)

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Highly recommended for creative projects, when you might want to jot down a note or idea while on the go. Very accessible.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have one sprawling project that I work on from multiple devices -- my work computer, my home computer, and occasionally on my smartphone. OneNote was the perfect solution to syncing the project notes so I always have access to the most current edits.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The 365 version changed some of the good features like sharing easily via emailing the page, I had to go back to 2016 version .
Would be nice if it can integrate nicely with Snag it

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Stick with the 2016 version, do not upgrade to 365

the organization of notebook into sections and then into pages is par excellence . no matter how much cumbersome and distributed the notes are it never becomes disorganized when put into one note .

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

evernote has better functionality to insert images and pdf into it . one note lags behind in that . pdf annotation is not as smooth as it in evernote .

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping notes of the agenda , meetings , targets . for learning any professional skill then also one note comes in handy and the good part that the notes i made 6 years ago are still available in an organized manner , thanks to sync with one drive .

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raquel G. | Human Resources Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I found OneNote most useful for class. I always kept track of all my classes and they were automatically saved. I also loved that I was able to quickly take notes on the app and did not have trouble keeping up in class. There were often times when I was able to finish faster than my peers because of the app.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I disliked that the format did not always work and the app sometimes froze. There were sometimes issues with the connection and uploading of the content but it was easily resolved once I closed and open the app again.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving being able to take notes as quickly as possible and it is really efficient. Some benefits for Microsoft OneNote include being able to keep track of all your notes on one location and being able to organize them by type.

  ### 43. Microsoft OneNote is the ideal tool to keep your notes Organized.

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote is an excellent tool that is based on the collection of important data and information, to keep everything organized in the Microsoft OneNote Platform.
One of the things I like most about Microsoft OneNote is that it allows me to keep all my notes organized in a very special way, and I can collect data, information among others and keep it in my online agenda that is OneNote.
For a little while, I have been using this tool as my digital agenda. Allowing me to have much more access to my activities and more effective.
This is a program that comes from the Microsoft Company and is hosted in the Microsoft Office Package. This is one of the best means I've known to keep my activities organized. I love the integration that it maintains with Android devices, this is an excellent advantage because you can download the OneNote mobile application.
In this tool you can differentiate the notes by adding a different color to each one of them, so know which ones are the work, and the personal ones.
This is a unique tool. I highly recommend it. With Microsoft OneNote you can keep all your activities 100% organized

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Microsoft OneNote has been one of the best organization programs that exist. I consider that I have no negative comments to add about Microsoft OneNote. I recommend it is the best

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Its the best

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is no better benefit than this tool allows you to organize your notes in an incredible way. It is a program that you can buy for very low prices, and you can also access it at any time without internet connection. I recommend it

  ### 44. Why all my notes are in one place with Microsoft OneNote

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I enjoy that Microsoft OneNote is a multimedia platform, a heavy duty collection of all forms of notes that one could possibly have. Whether I want to add a screenshot of an important legal document or whether I want to place music inside of the note itself, Microsoft OneNote has a way to utilize efficient workflow strategies to make my end-user experience worthwhile. I can easily export all of the notes I make into one easily viewable pdf which saves a lot of time and hassle at the end of the day.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

I dislike that the software takes up nearly 1gb of install space. Understandably, the entire office suite is a big program package, most likely because of the backwards compatibility which is infused in bundles such as these. This can be a limiting factor if space is an issue on your computer. Additionally sometimes the user interface on a macintosh is not as user friendly as the user interface is on Windows.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

My advice to others considering OneNote is to be prepared to take up at least 1gb of space with the install. Other than that, the software has a decently steep learning curve but in general is very user friendly.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to take my typical notes and voice recording notes on my iphone and combine them into a lovely note, consolidating all of my ideas into one space. This is helpful in a multitude of ways, namely the ability to feel inspired to follow through with the seed of an idea to its full development into a mature idea. I have realized that these benefits are transferable to my job and my hobbies. I can produce my musical ideas more effectively, since often as am usician we have a lot of disconnected voice memos. And I can better organize my workflow in my job with all the many tasks i have in a day.

  ### 45. Good Notes Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro B. | Senior Process Automation Analyst/Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

It's very easy to use and very intuitive, it also has an app that can be synced to the notes so it can be used from multiple devices. The notebooks can be shared with several people so you can have multiple people to update data. It's great that it has an autosave function as everything you add is stored directly, so you don't need to worry about this.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The search is useful although it could be better. On multiple pages or notebooks it can be a little clunky and sometimes it's difficult to find exactly what you require.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It's a great tool to store all your data and can be used for collaboration although it it's not meant for this on its entirety.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge sharing, information storage.

  ### 46. Onenote for Collaboration and Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Obadiah C. | Sr. Payroll Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

I like that anyone can update and integrate this on the go. This is a useful tool for writing and keeping an up to date manual on everything one particular company or section does within your company.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Some OneNote formats are only compatible with the older version.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I would recommend considering OneNote and google as they are both very good applications. OneNote can integrate into the cloud with Office 365 making it a premier choice for windows users.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this application to complete a manual for all things we run into during many processes and procedures within our company. One or five people can be viewing the same material learning and integrating at the same time.

  ### 47. Best Go-To Notes Program for Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juli J. | Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The best part of Microsoft OneNote is how seamlessly it integrates with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite. It is very convenient having it automatically installed on most (if not all) devices these days, so if I'm ever switching laptops or moving between workspaces (from the office to home, for example) I will still have access to all my well-organized notes wherever I go.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

The only thing I'd like to change about OneNote is to give more options for personalization. I love adding different colors (backgrounds and fonts), different sized lines, background grids, etc. - it would be nice to have more creative options available.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

I would definitely focus on the convenience of having everyone use an app that comes pre-installed on their machines and is already part of the Microsoft OneDrive family of apps, so can easily be taken anywhere. This has prevented me from losing a LOT of notes over the years.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I always prefered taking notes by hand, and I still do - but now, I always make sure to transfer my handwritten notes into OneNote at some point in the day following my meeting. Doing so not only prevents me from altogether losing any notes I took - which happens more than I'd like to admit! - but it forces me to revisit the topics and forces me to be able to summarize any complex topics into short, sweet notes as I transfer onto OneNote.

  ### 48. Very nice software to take notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piergiuseppe Q. | PhD, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

The possibility to sync with all your devices in real time. Never had a synchronisation problem.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

Not a lot of feature for image editing. You always need to prepare figures with Power Point for example since you cannot even crop an image

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

Very useful software, especially if using one drive or other microsoft softwares. Works well with all devices, including iMacs, iPhones and iPad.
If you want a software to take fast notes or also very detailed ones, and if you want to have it synchronised with your computer at home, with your phone and with your office computer, this software is made for you.

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an electronic notebook to sync with all my devices

  ### 50. Fantastic for thosse working on projects with multiple notes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiny M. | Consultant, Capital Markets, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft OneNote?**

With OneNote, I can capture images, text, links and even screenshots ordered according to the topic I am working on. It stores all my files in the cloud, making it so convenient for me to access them, even if I go for weeks without picking up where I left of. It is like an amalgamation of so programs

**What do you dislike about Microsoft OneNote?**

It does not always handle spreadsheets particularly well when linked as a table rather than a file. It would be ideal if I could paste it as an actual spreadsheet rather than an image

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft OneNote:**

It is very productive for research and work

**What problems is Microsoft OneNote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating multiple forms of media in a central space for brainstorming. Instead of having a web-page, two pdfs and a spreadsheet open to summarise a central idea, all can be done in OneNote - this is significantly different from presentation software but if one needs to make a presentation, this is a great place to kick off
