When the system is backing up or synchronizing files, the files are sometimes not accessible, or it takes a long time to upload or download them. The biggest advantage of cloud collaboration with OneDrive is how effortlessly it enables our teams to access critical documents from anywhere, including remote energy sites. The built-in security, version control, and integration with Teams and SharePoint have significantly improved our operational efficiency. The UI/UX is very user-friendly along with AI feature, and exceptional performance when using OneDrive. While our experience has been positive overall, sync performance can occasionally slow down when we’re dealing with extremely large engineering files or more complex folder structures. What I like best about Microsoft OneDrive for Business is how easily it fits into daily work without needing much effort from the team side. Since we already use Microsoft tools like Outlook and Excel, file sharing and access becomes very smooth. I also like that files stay synced across devices, so even when I am outside office or coordinating with different teams, I can quickly access documents without asking someone to resend them again and again. The permission control and backup part is also useful because it reduces chances of losing important files or sharing wrong versions internally. One thing I dislike about Microsoft OneDrive for Business is that syncing sometimes becomes slow or confusing, especially when multiple people are working on large files at the same time. There are moments when files show updated for one user but not for another immediately. Another issue is that the folder structure and sharing permissions can become difficult to manage if the team is not properly trained. Sometimes users accidentally move or duplicate files, which creates confusion later. What I like best about Microsoft OneDrive for Business is how tightly it connects file storage, collaboration, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem into one workflow. Instead of treating cloud storage as a separate tool, it feels built into the way teams already work in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. That integration cuts down on version confusion and constant email attachments. The real-time collaboration is especially useful. Multiple people can edit documents simultaneously, leave comments, and track changes without creating duplicate files. For organizations already using Microsoft 365, that seamless collaboration is probably OneDrive’s biggest strength. Another strong point is accessibility. Files sync across devices, and offline edits automatically update once you reconnect. That sounds basic now, but in practice it makes hybrid and remote work much smoother. From an administrative perspective, the security and compliance controls are also a major advantage.
