What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

The shift from the old version to new version in some 365 apps was a little challenging. For example, some options in old outlook is easier to use in the new one.

Second thing, the difference in interface between mac and windows for word, excel, outlook, powerpoint and many more, there are many options that differ in where theyre located. So, someone who uses it in both devices at the same time, the windows version is often easy to locate a few settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good software"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

In my former role at Croc, I was deeply involved in developing and testing the functionality of WMS modules in an ERP system, which mirrors the kind of integration prowess Dynamics 365 BC offers. The platform’s flexibility allowed for efficient project tracking and quality control, analogously to my collaboration with QA teams in rigorous regression testing and documentation practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

While Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a robust ERP platform, one potential drawback I've perceived is that the extensive functionality can sometimes lead to a complex learning curve for new users. This complexity can necessitate comprehensive training and adjustment period, an observation consistent with my experience at Rokiškio, where I trained and consulted over 50 employees on new systems and processes, underscoring the need to streamline the onboarding process.

Moreover, customizations, though beneficial for tailoring the system to specific business needs, can add additional complexity and require expert involvement. In my role at Croc, where I was involved in the development of WMS module functionality for an ERP system, I saw the necessity for striking a balance between system flexibility and usability.

Lastly, the cost associated with the implementation and maintenance of Business Central might be a barrier for smaller businesses. In my professional journey, especially when implementing cost optimization initiatives at TUI Travel, I've learned to weigh such investments carefully against anticipated ROI. This acumen in strategic analysis and implementation aids in making informed decisions when it comes to platforms like Dynamics 365 Business Central. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
