"Easy-to-Use, Well-Organized Hub That Integrates Seamlessly with Microsoft Tools"

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

What I like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is how easy it is to use once you're familiar with it. I use it every day to manage my work, and the interface is well organized, making it simple to navigate between different tasks. It brings everything together in one place, which saves time and helps me stay organized. I also like that it integrates well with other Microsoft tools, making it easier to access information and complete daily tasks efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

One thing I dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is that some features can take time to learn, especially if you're new to the system. Occasionally, certain pages or reports can feel a bit slow to load, and finding specific settings isn't always as straightforward as it could be. While it's a powerful platform overall, a more intuitive layout for advanced features would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

It makes my day-to-day work much smoother because finance, sales, inventory, and reporting all connect automatically. That means I’m not wasting time jumping between systems or manually reconciling data. And honestly, the interface feels simple enough that even non-technical users can pick it up without a steep learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Sometimes, the platform can feel a bit limited when I’m trying to set up very specific or highly customized workflows. I often end up needing a developer or partner to make adjustments, rather than being able to configure everything easily on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

I like that Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central brings different business processes into one place, making it easier to manage finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and customer information without switching between different systems. The integration with Excel, Outlook, and Teams helps our teams work together more efficiently and makes collaboration easier. It saves time, reduces manual work, and helps us keep our data more accurate and organized. The initial setup was fairly easy, especially with Microsoft's documentation and implementation support. What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

I find that some features take time to learn, especially for new users. I also find setting up and customizing the system requires some technical knowledge and support. Additionally, I feel the user interface could be more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful ERP with a learning curve worth taking"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

The depth of functionality is impressive – we cover general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and reporting all from one platform without needing third-party add-ons for the basics. The integration with the rest of the Microsoft ecosystem (Outlook, Excel, Power BI) is genuinely useful in day-to-day work, especially being able to pull data straight into Excel and push edits back. Role-based dashboards help keep people focused on what's relevant to them, and the dimensional accounting setup gives us flexibility to slice financial data in ways that would be painful in smaller systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

The user interface still feels dated in places and navigation can be clunky when you're jumping between modules. Initial setup and configuration require real expertise – it's not something a small team can spin up without a partner or consultant. Performance can slow down on heavier reports, and customization often pushes you toward AL development rather than simple configuration. Documentation exists but is scattered, so finding the right answer sometimes takes longer than it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

One of the newer things I really like about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is how much focus they’ve started putting on AI and automation.

Recently, features like AI-powered agents (for things like sales orders and payables) are really interesting. They can automate repetitive tasks like processing emails or matching invoices, which saves a lot of manual effort and reduces errors. It feels like the system is becoming more proactive rather than just a tracking tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

I think Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is quite powerful, but there are a few areas where it could definitely improve.

One thing is the learning curve. For new users, especially those without an accounting or ERP background, it can feel a bit overwhelming in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Reporting and Centralized Data, But Costly Licensing"

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

We have been using BC for around 3-4 years. Its made life easier for all depts as everything is kept in the same area. Also so much easier to create reports based on depts, nominal codes or country offices. Next steps is connecting it to our donor management system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Within the interface, there is a lot going on and seems very busy. Also the licensing is very expensive for the staff that upload the invoices. The error reporting is not great and take more time to figure out the issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Unified Interface, but Overall Experience Needs Improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

What I love best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is how it acts as the "connective tissue" for an entire organization, bridging the gap between finance, sales, and operations within a single, unified interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

The "Scalability Ceiling": While it’s fantastic for small-to-mid-sized businesses, organizations often find that once they reach a certain level of global complexity or scale, they outgrow it faster than expected. If you hit that ceiling, you’re looking at a major, disruptive migration to a more robust platform like Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
