**What do you like best about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

The most liked feature about the Microsoft Intune suite is that I can use it in my Mobile while separating all the company applications from my personal applications by creating a different work profile which I can enable and disable on my requirement. **What do you like best about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

Intune is a streamlined platform to manage devices and apps in the familiar Microsoft 365 ecosystem. It's comprehensive and intuitive and provides the ability to seamlessly deploy and manage apps on all platforms. In a Windows environment, it has proven to be the top contender for app management.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

The vast array of options and sub-options can get overwhelming. Microsoft tends to reinvent the wheel often, and every time you grow accustomed to certain features, Microsoft will often rebrand, recycle, or reorganize, requiring you to relearn the system all over again.

  ### 20. Integrated Device Management for your company devices

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert D. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

Like most other microsoft systems this is included with the higher level office licences, in our case business Premium. So you get access to this system and others for very little extra outlay per user per month. It's packed with functionality, everything from bitlocker, compliance, policis, remote delete and management all the way to automated application installs. IT's easy to implement and use and it is integrated with azure active directory so it's simple to use existing roles and security groups to manage whatever you need to manage within the system. It has really good customer support and a massive network of users to speak with and get help from. We use it regualrly to ensure we have a SOE basline for importants applications such as monitored agents that are essential to be installed automatically.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

Everything i have spoken about that is helpful is mainly related to windows devices. It does allow us to manage non windoows devies, such as apple devives but there is a lot more configuration and work involved to do so and it is not as easy or powerful as what is in place for windows devices.

**What problems is Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ths is solving a number of issues. Firstly it is a great asset management tool, we can enrol devices and manage them within this platform, serial numbers, bitlocker keys, OS versioning etc. All of this can be reported on and compl;iance policies can be created to ensure consistency across our devices. Secondly we used a scripting tool and group policies to push out applications and other requirments. Since COVID these packages were sitting on opur local server and with more people working remotely we had a lot of failures as the users were not on our network. With intune only an internet connection is required and so the success rate is much higher. Lastly if a device is lost or stolen it can be remotely manage and wiped alloing our data to stay secure. Like all MS products they are constantly improving their offerings so more functionality is being added such as autopilot provisioning.

  ### 21. The best all in one solution for those who love to plan then deploy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

Intune has an absolute vast ammount of capability to manage devices. Starting with the acquision and on boarding phase, auto-pilot alows intune to enrol devices directly from factory into the company. MDM/MAM allows personal or devices introduced at a later stage into the organization to join the domain as well through the company portal app. Once a device is InTune enrolled, software, policies, and updates can easily be deployed to the fleet as you see fit. If there isn't a prebuilt function (which there almost always is) then you can also deploy your own powershell code through the app management. In addition to workstations the mobile device management allows easy control over company enroled mobile devices. In our org we need to ensure each user in the field has a company phone outfit with the appropriately configured software straight out of the box. Before InTune device configuration and deployment cost about 3-5 hours / unit and to save time this was done in batches. We would routinely have 'prep week' dedicated to setting up assets to be deployed at a later date and these prep weeks would be performed every fortnight to ensure updates were in place. With InTune we have regained countless hours back to our labor pool that can be spent solving real problems. With a quick enrolment, the device configures itself and is ready for business every time. For some of your more executive staff, you can even have the device arrive brand new in box from the factory to the staff member directly without going through the service desk and the user can have the white glove experience of being the first to touch their fully custom work machine.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management?**

InTune is a massive technology and as such deployments and configuration changes can take some time. When a change is made inside of InTune at the longest it can take a day for the change to propagate down to the user devices. However, adequate planning and testing (create your lab enviroments!!!) can ensure you are prepared for this and ensure your configurations are ready for production the first time.

**What problems is Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest solution InTune has provided us is time. An investment of a few work days to configure and deploy to our lab enviorment has returned hundreds of hours of labor over a few months. The return goes forever into the future with potentially thousands of labor hours saved over the next decade from technicians not having to manually configure and deploy devices at the service desk. There is plenty of documentation from microsoft to cover all features in detail as well.

If a user requests software, I don't have to go there or take over the screen to install the software. It mainly saves me a lot of time.
