**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas H. | Systems Support Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

What we like best about the Microsoft Forms is the absolute ease of use! Literally, with no training whatsoever, I was able to create forms for my organization, send out surveys and compile results for my manager.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

What would be helpful, is just a few more options in regards to survey questions, and the like. Tools are basic, but so far they have been able to get the job done.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Before going out to purchase forms software, licenses, or survey tools, I'd highly recommend giving Forms a try. We've used it to create technology surveys for user training, business process surveys and much more.

It's as easy to use as any MS Office product so the user training is almost unnecessary.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only "problems" we've experienced, and to be honest, it's not fair to call it a "problem" is the limited customization. We've been able to work around it each time and find options that work for our teams, but a few more customizable fields, and options would be awesome!

Microsoft Forms is a simple, lightweight app that lets you easily create surveys, quizzes, and polls. In educational institutions, it can be used to create quizzes, collect feedback from teachers and parents, or plan class and staff activities.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

The biggest difference between MS Forms and Forms Pro is Forms Pro puts all the enhanced features into sharing and analyzing surveys. Forms Pro does little for question types, but where it shines is how you share your form and what you can do with the responses.

Microsoft Forms includes rich, real-time analytics that provide summary information and individual results for surveys and other types of forms

  ### 12. Missing many functions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Microsoft Forms comes free with my Office 365 for Business enterprise plan, allowing users to sign in to their enterprise account to fill in form. The platform is mobile responsive so that users can fill in forms on their mobile phones as well. Microsoft Forms is also able to export data to Microsoft Excel. Functionality-wise, you are able to customise title, add subtitles, drag and drop questions, preview form before publishing, and share forms with others for editing. The platform comes with short text, long text, ranking, checkbox, and a few others that I do not use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

You are unable to upload attachments such as images or PDFs; you can only view the first 300 entries on the platform (you will have to download the Microsoft Excel file to view the rest of your entries), and you are unable to format text descriptions in rich text or HTML (to highlight certain instructions in bold or colour). If you need features, you will need to upvote the functionality that you need at Microsoft Customer Voice - you will see that there are a lot of requests for common functionalities that have yet to be implemented.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

If you can use Google, stick to it.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am now able for users to submit information and collate into CSV format, which can be easily imported into other platforms, such as Drupal.

  ### 13. Easy and user friendly!

I wish you could add attachments withing the forms questions.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

It a great, easy to use tool. I think it's easy to guide someone through if they are not tech savvy.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

References, employee surveys , and more

  ### 14. Professional survey creation for the technically challenged

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendra B. | Sr. Records Management Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

What I like best about Microsoft Forms is that it is very easy to set up. You can create a basic but professional survey in literally minutes. It allows you to collect feedback very easily as well.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I honestly have nothing negative to say about this software. It is easy to set up and user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Microsoft forms is very simple and easy to use.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Houston Community College is implementing a new electronic repository called Laserfiche. We conduct weekly trainings for all staff and faculty for Laserfiche. In order to improve our trainings, we must commit to a constant process of internal review and analysis. We used Microsoft Forms to create a survey where all attendees of our trainings have the opportunity to tell us what they think about our training session.

  ### 15. These forms are quite handy if you need to collect information monthly/annually.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

It's pretty easy to create a form and send a shareable link to receive responses. In a student residential building where the intercom system regularly needs to be updated every month, this form comes in quite handy.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

It doesn't have security. Anyone with the link can submit the form, sometimes with incorrect information.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Go for it. It is best to collect data.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collect data. Organize responses in an Excel sheet.

  ### 16. Nice addition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

It’s great that this Microsoft product operates like many of the other tools we use in Microsoft suite. The look and feel is the same so it’s easier to learn.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Since this is not the top tool in Microsoft’s toolbox there are definitely some limitations and opportunities if you want to complete a very in-depth or multi layer form.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have use this for a lot of our administrative processes related to HR or finance. We can easily share it with our associates and have them send it back to us quickly.

  ### 17. Tool to create surveys and forms according to your needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norkis P. | Analista de programación, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

As a regular user, I can state that what I like the most is the ease of use, how simple it is, and the versatility it offers to the user. It provides excellent features such as branching in questions, the ability to share the created form with the public or restrict it if necessary. It works efficiently and equally well on desktop computers as on any mobile device. I use it for surveys, questionnaires, registrations, and general data collection, and to this day it has never failed me.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

There isn't much I dislike about this tool, only that it doesn't offer customization of forms, and it would be a very useful option if it offered many more pre-set templates with varied backgrounds and themes. It would save me a lot of valuable time by not having to start from scratch.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I can positively recommend this tool if you are in search of being able to securely and conveniently have all your questionnaires and forms in the cloud. It is easy to use, with an intuitive and well-designed interface, offering high functionality for whatever you wish to do with the use of "FORMS." I assure you that it will enhance the quality of the goods and services offered.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I solve with the use of forms are being able to meet the need to efficiently and orderly collect information from clients, individuals, and employees both outside and within the same company, and to maintain positive contact with everyone and know their opinions and suggestions to present them to my immediate superiors.

  ### 18. Basic surveying capability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

can quickly poll teammates, data collected for follow up use in a spreadsheet. Can add media (images, etc.) to clarify the questions on the form. Good choice of response options

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Branching logic is difficult or nonexistent. Would like to require certain data types in the text field for downstream use of the data.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Polling teammates, intake form for automated reports

  ### 19. Forms for Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire H. | Exec. Assistant and Project Coordinator , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I like Forms because it allows me to obtain feedback from my peers. I like that it is customizable to what I want the template format/design background to look like. I also really like that you're able to use the "mapping" feature to send a user to a different question based on their answer to the previous question or questions. I like that there's an ability to pull reports in Excel for easy sharing and report creating.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

There is not much about the platform that I dislike. It does exactly what I need it to do without it getting super complicated. I believe it is very user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

It's a great software and very useful.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a lot of problems but also creating better processes internally.

1. We are able to capture feedback from peers to help make events, trainings, etc. more impactful and worth their time.

2. We are able to provide this feedback through Excel and other forms within the Microsoft suite to make it easier/better to present in meetings and other ways.

3. This allows us the ability to make our events, trainings and other company events more impactful, useful, helpful, etc.

  ### 20. "FORMS" Excellent simple and lightweight application to easily create surveys and questionnaires.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanesa L. | Analista de datos, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

What I really like about Microsoft Forms and what makes it my favorite over any other tool of its kind is that I can more easily create forms for internal questionnaires, surveys, etc. It can be run easily and without problems on Windows OS, MAC, and Android. It can also be used to generate and capture consumer feedback on the service or products they have used. It is a powerful tool that can be used to capture a large amount of data in any organization or company. We can also select different types of questions, such as open-ended, closed, multiple choice, numerical scale questions, among others.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

What mainly bothers me is that constant Internet connections are always required to be able to respond to surveys and questionnaires, which can be a bit burdensome for a normal user. The insertion of objects, images, and other elements is a bit limited. It would be great to have those elements incorporated for the users.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I recommend Forms as it is integrated into Microsoft's cloud, so you will always have your questionnaires and forms stored securely. In summary, if you, my friend who is reading this, are looking for ease of use and great functionality, then I invite you to use this professional tool, you will not regret it.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to this powerful tool, it is possible to capture customer opinions and suggestions more effectively and precisely. As it is integrated with Office 365, customer comments and notifications can be viewed on the go in Office 365, which is indeed a powerful mechanism to respond to user queries without having to wait. Once you have the data, you can further analyze the data from questionnaires, surveys, and perform analytical integration.

  ### 22. Excellent productivity tool, try integrating with Microsoft Flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian F. | Mr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The most helpful thing with forms is the excellent integration with Microsoft Flow. The level of integration allows use of the user input data to generate everything from customised planner tasks through to complex approval processes. This massively reduces the time spent on administrative tasks and speeds up repetitive business processes.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Individual ownership of forms is required for best integration with Microsoft Flow.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Integrate with Microsoft Flow

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it to collect user input data for a work request, using forms ensures all the required data to complete the work is supplied. Forms is used as flow to trigger an approval process, if approved a task is set in planner so that requests are not missed as they were when requested by email. On top of this notification emails are sent as approvals/rejections are made and as tasks are completed so everyone is on the same page with the work.

  ### 23. Microsoft Forms - A Number of Different Uses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I really like the "branching" feature the most in Microsoft Forms. The ability to pick and choose what questions each person receives based off their responses is a great feature. This really comes in handy when using Forms as a survey tool and event registration.

I also really like the ability to customize the page to be brand-aligned.

The integration with Excel is perfect when pulling reports for big groups of people/prepping for meetings post survey or event.

The "collaboration" function is also really useful. It allows other to have real time updates without having to bug me.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Right now, there is nothing that I dislike on forms. It's been a great, resourceful tool.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to make our meetings and event more efficient by using Forms as a survey tool. It allows us to capture data that we may have never received prior to using Forms.

  ### 24. Using MS Forms from past 3 years

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

MS Form is easy to use and configure. It provides good security.
Its biggest advantage is integration with Office 365 products. Through MS Flows, you can integrate it with other Office 365 tools and read/update data from SharePoint, Azure, Teams and One Drive.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

It is still lacking a lot of features present in other survey based applications such as Survery monkey etc.
UI can be only customized to a little extent. There is a 50000 limit to number of responses to a survey cerated through MS Forms.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MS Form mainly to create user facing front end forms for applications. Once the data is entered through Forms, I use it to route it to appropriate systems using MS Flows.
I also use it for creating Corporate level surveys, which donot require a lot of customization.

  ### 25. Microsoft Forms streamlines requests and feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah B. | Director of Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

As a marketing and communications professional, I receive requests frequently for new projects. With Microsoft Forms, I have been able to create a project request form that has helped me stay more organized.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

The downside of Microsoft Forms is the inability for respondents to upload pictures or documents to help provide context to what they are describing.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Build out forms, share internally, and see what works best. Tweaking your questions is helpful for making the form easier to understand for anyone using your form.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Forms has helped me create my own project tracking capabilities on behalf of our marketing and communications team.

  ### 27. Data Collection is much easier now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The ability to design and create your own form to collect data which can be translating in many languages the highlight is the ability to collect responses which already has prebuilt graphics graphs explaining the results in more thorough detail

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

There aren’t many options to apply logic for example if a particular question is answered there are certain logic so you can apply but then again this is an out of the box form which the user is able to design and create so I don’t expect anything much more than that but it would be nice to be able to add more logic

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Make sure that if you are creating a new form for the business or for somebody else that you publish this new form to the shared with otherwise they will not be able to access it because each form which you create is personal unless it is shared with most importantly do not use forms for complex business processes as it will fail, Forms is designed for quick data collection and for personal ease

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to provide our use the community to be able to design and create data collection methods such as using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft power BI o be able to better analyse our data

I like this utility because it is a lightweight and easy way to create quizzes and collect responses in real time. Its templates are excellent; it is really very easy to choose which form to use. It is definitely a great alternative to a random survey platform because it connects with other Microsoft products and many of the options can be customized. I work in a company with a wide and extensive network of pharmacies nationwide. We use Microsoft Forms to collect responses and create customized surveys for each department and specific employees. That way, we can know the feelings and overall opinion of each and every one of them to make the best decisions.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I could say that the negative aspects according to my extensive experience of use are that the format is very simple, it doesn't have many customization options, and it doesn't allow enriching it with details or sectioning the document to be created. As for restoring, up to now I haven't found any more significantly negative aspects or anything that displeases me.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I recommend this tool in a shrewd manner due to all the benefits I enjoy personally and at a business and work level. It is a very useful software that offers excellent benefits at a very low cost. In a short period of time, you can professionally create surveys with multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, rankings, among others, and then obtain results with detailed statistics in the form of very visual graphs with information related to each question and surveyed person. This allows for objective opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of the company, which is very important for any company to improve and grow quickly.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the permanent use of this powerful product, we can know in a much more precise, effective, and sincere way the opinions, demands, requirements, and feelings of the entire employee community at a national level and at different levels, and compare and reunify the different criteria to provide the most timely and appropriate solutions, thereby achieving greater work performance, which translates into the well-being of everyone and greater development of the company.

  ### 29. Great product to use at work!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

One of my favorite features about the product, Microsoft Forms, is that I am able to create surveys, polls, etc. Today, I was able to create a FUN poll for my colleagues at work. I was able to complete this task very quickly without any issues along the way. As a first time user of this application, I am impressed. Very useful application. Hats off to Microsoft!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I really enjoy this product, therefore, it is not easy for me to think of something I dislike about Microsoft Forms. If I am being picky, I would like there to be more customization options, for us not so creative people.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this application to vote on which holiday activities to do together this upcoming holiday season. I was able to customize the background of the poll, upload a title, the question and multiple answers. When I made an error in one of the answers, I was able to easily edit the answer and make the change, without having to re-start.

  ### 30. Microsoft Forms Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayobami B. | HR Officer, Market Research, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

(1) The graphical display and representation format of data results, making real time decision and analysis of a survey very easy and straight forward when all the answers are represented in charts.

(2) Easy linkage with other Microsoft tools, I liked the fact that connecting to Outlook was not a challenge.

(3) I also liked the skin, very decorative and different from other online forms/survey platforms that I had previously used that may come out as bland.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

(1) At the first instance of using the form after deploying the link, it linked name and contact details of the participants - with a statement saying 'the person receiving this survey would get your name and email address after filling this form (I cannot remember the exact words) that would take the survey because I used the link with people in the organization, for surveys that may require anonymous respondents, it may be difficult to use as the response rate may not be high due to this.

(2) The link for the form was excessive long in my opinion, if this could be reduced to only a few characters, it would be lovely.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

While the form was helpful and very resourceful, also because of the linkage with other microsoft programs, it would be a good tool, the result in data format also gave graphical and real time analysis of feedback from any surveys it may be deployed for, however, one may need expert guidance or support from a previous user of this software in order to achieve maximum result.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Microsoft forms feature was deployed for employee survey for the office.

  ### 31. Great for testing and tracking.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I was able to easily create testing forms for free for my organization after our previous platform implemented paid only features.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

As it stands currently, I don't believe there is a way to adjust how many points certain questions/answers may qualify for in the test. For example, if I want my test calculated out of a certain number of points and one question is worth a lot more -- I can't do that, it will be factored by the same weight as the other questions and answers. ALSO, my tests were temporarily disabled for 'possible phishing' about a week after they were created even though my test did not ask for personal information beyond Name, so I had to work with support to have them reenabled. That was not an enjoyable experience. I also dislike how the forms are all emailed as 'anonymous user' rather than by the name of the form submitter -- in order to tell who sent it you must enter the admin end of the platform unless they used a Microsoft account to submit (I'm guessing for that part, no one has submitted on my forms using a Microsoft account).

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Other free online forms seem to have have stricter limits on storage and email notification.

  ### 32. Business process form

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis G. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I like how simple it is to configure the forms with all the options that the platform brings. The solution is very versatile, dynamic forms can be created that change based on the responses received. Automatically send mails, etc.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

The only thing to comment on this point is that it lacks the possibility of creating new options to incorporate into the forms.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I definitely recommend the use of Microsoft Forms, it is a very easy solution to configure and implement, which meets several business needs.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically in the sector it was necessary for each necessary software development, that the commercials load information to be able to segment the orders and thus assign it to whoever corresponds.

  ### 33. Less features for less price

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The best feature of Microsoft Forms is that it comes included as part of Office 365. If you already have a subscription, you can't be the price. The form builder is aggressively simple, but intuitive enough.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

The email notifications are pointless. Every time someone fills out the form, you get an email but it doesn't contain their form data. Reviewing and extracting data from Microsoft Forms takes more steps that it should. But the worst sin of all is that Microsoft Forms is missing many advanced field types common to Wufoo, SurveyMonkey and Formstack. It's also missing integrations to third-party tools like Mailchimp, Zapier or others like them.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Microsoft Forms isn't terrible, it just isn't for everybody. If your organization only needs to collect basic information, then Microsoft Forms might actually be a great option if you already have Office 365. If you want to ask a lot of questions, or do a lot of conditional questions, there are better options but for a significantly higher cost.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Forms is an affordable replacement for SharePoint forms.

  ### 34. Free survey software with analytics!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The best thing I enjoy about Microsoft Forms is that it is an interactive online software that is free and provides analytics that can be exported into an excel file and presented in PowerPoint.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I do not like that we cannot limit choices with maximum answers. Also when you try to print out the survey, it will not let you print out the entire document unless you are printing out responses.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

If you are trying to save money on survey software, you should use Microsoft forms. It is so simple to use, and can be shared with anyone at the organization or with access to the link. The analytics feature and responses are great!

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving saving money by not purchasing survey software.

  ### 35. One of the best survey tools in the market

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Microsoft forms is one of the best survey tools in the market with more options to customize your questionnaire than other tools. Microsoft forms is also aesthetically pleasing software which helps in keeping interest of the respondent in questionnaire. It is also easy to use software which can be used by anyone who needed it. Forms also gives analytical representation which helps in getting into details of respondents information.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

What I dislike about this software is that Microsoft didn't marketed this software as much as it market its other products. Also forms sometimes took longer to edit and you cannot subdivide the questions based on respondents answers.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

Microsoft forms is great alternative to Google forms with more functionality than google forms. It also shows better analytical representation of respondents.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mostly use Microsoft Forms to obtain primary data from respondents about various projects I worked on.

  ### 36. Excellent custom forms in the cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | Pre-Sales Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I love the simplicity and speed with which you can create custom forms with reports and send automatic mails. This is the best!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Nothing, it comes with all the possible options that you may need.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I recommend using Microsoft Form since it does not require prior training for the generation of online forms. It is very intuitive and fast deployment.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To make equipment loans, you need to send at least 3 emails for check in deposit, approval and generation of remitos. We were able to create an online form that simplified the whole task, automating many parts of the process and sending the necessary information for its approval and subsequent generation of remito.

  ### 37. Does the job but is just ok

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I like that multiple people in my organization can view the same form. I also appreciate the export option that puts it into an excel spreadsheet for easy analytics. I appreciate the different types of responses provided.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I wish there was a more attractive way to share. i.e., when opting to email the survey link, all it does is post a link to the email. I wish it were a graphic that matched the theme to be a bit more eye catching. It would also be cool if surveys could be set to send on particular dates. For example, we use this after events. It would be nice if I could have the survey and recipients set up, and it would automatically be sent at the completion of the event. A reminder email for any surveys not completed would be a nice feature too.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

none.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send people away after events and don't know how they felt about it. So this is a great tool for getting feedback. We also use it to get feedback from customers after a project is completed.

  ### 38. Microsoft Form - Excellent option for business forms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofia L. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The best thing about Microsoft Form is the speed and simplicity to assemble business forms. It has all the necessary variants to assemble forms according to the flow of the business.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Nothing, honestly there is something that disgusts me of this solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I recommend the use of Microsoft Form, it has many options and allows you to build advanced flows that are modifying the form based on the answers given.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As part of the new business processes, we need to implement the loading of an online form for each presales engineer. We solved this quickly using the Microsoft Form option, obtaining the result of each load via email and monthly summary reports.

  ### 39. Surveys and forms to solve your questions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

In our company, we use Microsoft forms, to create survey forms for internal staff, regarding lunches, recreational activities, workshops and courses, and any other information needs that a specific department needs, in the same way some areas of Our company has used this tool to request feedback from our customers, regarding the service provided by some engineer or equipment sold, in general lines, it is a very friendly and useful tool to collect information from several people, in the same way the capabilities of Exportation of the data are quite friendly and good, in the IT department the same at the moment I have not used it very extensively, but it seems a great tool to consult the staff and clients

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

In my experience, I consider it quite simple, I have not had any problem with it, and the staff that uses it has not indicated that I would have any incidence, personally when I used it I would like more personalization options. the different forms, with more graphic options and capabilities of other consulting tools

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

In my experience, Microsoft Forms is a very simple tool that can help you to reach and get to know your employees and clients better, for which I recommend it, it is not the only tool of this style, but as regards to my experience and that of the company in which I work, is an excellent tool

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the organization there was not a problem in this sense, but it came to collaborate in the reduction of paper and toner, and I offer a more direct and friendly and orderly tool when gathering information from multiple people and with the contact with the client. , in the same way the update of the consultation formats is much easier

  ### 40. Forms and online surveys

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariela R. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

The best thing about Microsoft form is the versatility and speed to create new forms and surveys. There are pre-configured options that help generate forms very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Having preconfigured options, we do not have the possibility to create a new option, just use them.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

If you need to generate a form or a business survey, do not hesitate to use Microsoft Form.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Microsoft form, we were able to create a form for marketing event requests very quickly. So I keep a record of each request and the marketing department has in a mail all the necessary items to manage the events effectively.

  ### 41. Windows forms, is it really worth it?

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan O. | Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Maybe the title catch you so get ready.

When using other Microsoft applications like SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook and the all-powerful Excel the answer it's yes but with a couple of clicks you will have a full spreadsheet with all the answers also Microsoft Forms it's very secure, no every anyone could access to your forms users will have to sign in order to see and answer the form.

If you are a grades guy, teacher or want to keep a score of everything this is your tool MS Forms it's one of the few with this feature, the ideal tool for a quick test or simple projects.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I get really surprised when I figured out there is no Dropdown and get a little bit angry because I was close to finishing my form, I look for a couple of minutes to bring access to another user to modify my existing form and there it is the second surprise unlike Sharepoint, MS Forms doesn't have many personalizations options so you can only play with a few of them.

This makes me feel like I was using Beta software and not as a full solution, unfortunately, I have to use another tool to complete my form and takes me the double of time to transfer the answers to One Drive.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

If you want to create a big form with multiple components, this is not your software please don't waste your time.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you need to create a very simple form or maybe a graded quiz this it's definitely your tool but don't get surprised with the limited amount of features.

  ### 42. Review on Microsoft Forms

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

This free application by the Microsoft suite is great to create forms within the blink of an eye! Even an eight grader can use this tool because of its super user friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I haven't been able to find any downfalls to using this so far. But if there were to me any recommendations made, Microsoft can introduce more advanced features in the application.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

For anyone wanting to create any type of form without prior knowledge or experience of doing so, can easlily use this tool.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has helped me create a lot of forms needed to conduct surveys at my office. The quick and easy interface has helped me as a fresher use this without any hassle.

  ### 43. Quick questionnaires in the cloud

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celeste R. | Comex, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

In a few minutes, very complete questionnaires can be generated with a very good decision tree.
Automate reports even with sending mails.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

There is nothing that disgusts me about this solution. Bring everything you need to create questionnaires.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I definitely recommend using the Microsoft form option to create business questionnaires quickly

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to assemble a questionnaire for the pre-sale integenieros and based on the options they were marking, send an internal request to different sectors. We could solve this in 10 minutes by assembling the questionnaire with Microsoft Form.

  ### 44. gets the job done

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

it simple and user friendly and makes sure its not easy to get lost when taking surverys and giving the answer back to the people who were asking for it to begin with

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

it typically does not automatically login and that would make it simplier if the login saved

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can send it out but people with out an account cant access it and that makes it not accessible to everyone that may need to use it.

  ### 45. Knowing the opinion of your customers with a click is very simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doris M. | Analista administrativo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I like to use Microsoft Forms because although I am not an expert in surveys or statistics, with this simple application I can elaborate questionnaires and invitations very easily, also allowing me to see the results through excel graphics which previously I could not do. I love that I can customize the image with themes that I can choose according to my preferences, I can also select different types of questions such as open, closed, multiple options, number scale questions, among others. In general I find all the tools offered by this program quite good

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

The only thing I do not like about Microsoft Forms is that users must be connected and answer questions online to questionnaires or forms and this is sometimes difficult. However, it is not a major problem because it allows access through any device and at any time of the day

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

I recommend Microsoft Forms with closed eyes, I know it will be very useful and it is very easy to manage and customize. There are many benefits for any company and even for personal use. The results will allow you to make improvements and predictions in your business

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an administrative assistant of an important company dedicated to the purchase and sale of products and services and every day I must have contact with customers and suppliers who often want to express their opinions and suggestions regarding the service provided in our business, with Microsoft Forms I have managed to perform questionnaires where digitally through telephones or laptop respond assertively to various aspects to then show results to managers and has been very useful to improve and innovate every day. also with this program I make invitations to clients or workers for formal meetings in the company

  ### 46. Love MS Forms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh B. | Senior Director/IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Microsoft Forms is similar to Google Forms and Survey Monkey, but I especially appreciate that its data lives in my OneDrive.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

It doesn't have as many features like graded quizzes.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to collect data.

  ### 47. Using MS Forms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Integrates nicely with other office products. Included with O365

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Doesn't have as many options for customization as survey monkey. Not anonymous.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to gather responses from coworkers for surveys.

  ### 48. Easy to use, but could use some functionality improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Ease of use is definitely a high point for this forms tool. Very simple to fill in the needed questions and customize the imagery at the top. Love how easy it is to duplicate a survey from prior experiences as well so that you don't have to keep recreating the wheel. Easy to share, fill in and grab data for reporting. I use this regularly and will keep doing so!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

One of the strange nuances of Microsoft Forms is the inability to edit the text that is pre-filled in; for example, when you add a "fill in the blank" question, it says "Enter your answer" - and you can't edit that. So in my case, I use this form to collect pre-submitted questions and it's strange to ask "What is your question?" and the automated fill-in be "enter your answer" as though the person should answer their own question. Would greatly appreciate the option to edit the text that is automated! Thank you!

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As its one of the tools included in Microsoft 365, I use these forms regularly to collect survey responses for our internal coffee talks. Being able to create a customized, easy to format survey that I can send to our employees globally is a fantastic benefit. Love that it's a free, easy to use tool as well.

  ### 49. Basic for most needs, but don't expect any advanced features

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

Simplicity of use. The form creation and sharing process is incredibly easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

Lack of form functions. Simple things like an image uploader would be very useful to have.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Forms:**

For simplicity of use this is winner.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating, editing and sharing forms is incredibly simple with MS Forms. There really is no guesswork involved at any step of the process and viewing form results is as simple as a new tab (bonus points for Excel export). Forms has been integral in sharing company wide forms across various departments for quick feedback.

  ### 50. Easy and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate Z. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?**

I like the functionality and abilities that Microsoft forms has - it is a great alternative to a random survey platform because it connects with your other Microsoft products and you can personalize lots of the options.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?**

I wish there were more features to make this a robust solution to replace the functionalities of survey platforms like qualtrics or surveymonkey. Just a few things missing like types of survey questions and personalization.

**What problems is Microsoft Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Forms as intake questionnaires so that when someone is ordering a product they have a unified way of requesting things like business cards, social posts etc.
