What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

Lack of customization: You can’t design your forms freely — the themes and layout options are extremely limited, which makes every form look the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Effective, and Easy to Use"
What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?

Microsoft Forms offers a very clean and user-friendly interface that makes creating surveys, quizzes, and forms incredibly quick. It integrates well with other Microsoft 365 tools like Excel, so collecting and analyzing responses is seamless. I also like that it works across devices without needing extra setup, and the real-time response tracking is a big plus for fast feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

While it’s great for basic forms, Microsoft Forms lacks advanced customization features. The design options are quite limited—no deep styling or branding control. Also, branching logic can be a bit restrictive compared to other tools like Typeform or Google Forms. Offline mode support is missing too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good to use"
What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?

What I like best about Microsoft Forms is how simple and seamless it is to use, especially within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. It takes just a few minutes to build a form or survey, and the interface is clean and intuitive—even for people who aren't tech-savvy.

The real-time response tracking is also a huge plus. As soon as someone submits a response, I can view the results in clear charts or download them to Excel instantly for deeper analysis. It’s especially convenient that it integrates well with Teams, Outlook, and Excel—so I don’t have to jump between platforms.

For internal use—like employee feedback, quick polls, or onboarding requests—it’s super efficient. I also appreciate the option to restrict access to only people in my organization or make the form public when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

While Microsoft Forms is easy to use and great for basic needs, it does feel a bit limited when you want to do more. For example, there’s not much room for customization — you can't really brand your forms with custom fonts, layouts, or themes. Also, the logic options are pretty basic; if you're trying to create more dynamic or conditional forms, you quickly hit a wall. Another thing that can be frustrating is that file uploads only work internally (within your org), which is a problem if you're collecting data from external users. And lastly, the built-in reporting is very simple — good for a quick glance, but not enough if you want detailed insights without exporting to Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time saver, well organised, Fabulous 😍"
What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?

When you have to collect information from many people, it takes a lot of time. But through Microsoft Forms, all the information can be collected very easily and in a very short time. At the same time, it also saves the information. For this, Google Forms seems to me the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

Sometimes, it happens that the same information has to be submitted multiple times due to server problems. This is annoying to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Yet Powerful Tool for Feedback Collection and Internal Surveys"
What do you like best about Microsoft Forms?

Microsoft Forms is extremely user-friendly, fast to set up, and integrates well with Microsoft 365 tools like Excel and Outlook. I often use it to collect UAT feedback, QA checklists, sprint retrospectives, and even quick polls from the team. The real-time response tracking, clean visual summaries, and export to Excel make it very convenient for reporting and analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms?

While great for basic use, Microsoft Forms lacks advanced customization and branding options compared to tools like Google Forms or Typeform. There’s also limited integration with third-party tools outside the Microsoft ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
