For a powerful, enterprise-grade VOC program, you might need something more robust, but for 90% of everyday feedback needs, Microsoft Forms is reliable, simple, and effective. While excellent for basic to intermediate surveys, it lacks the deep analytical and branding features of a dedicated platform like Qualtrics. The customisation options for fonts and themes are limited, which can be a minor drawback for customer-facing surveys where you want a fully branded experience. As an engineer, I used it to send simple forms to colleagues for quick feedback on technical procedures or tool availability. Our management team also used it to create customer service quality surveys. Creating a professional-looking form was quick, and the logic branching feature made customer surveys more relevant. The UI is very simple, so no technical skills are needed to create surveys, quizzes, or polls. 2. It also works smoothly with Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Outlook, which makes collaboration easy. 3. We can share forms via link, QR code, or email, and they work well on mobile devices too. 4. What do you dislike about Microsoft Forms? 1. Although it comes with pre-designed templates, the selection feels limited and fairly basic compared to Google Forms or Typeform. 2. Also, it really only works for users who already have a Microsoft account—without one, there’s no access at all. 3. The form includes around 10–15 fields, and each field requires a specific type of response (number, email, ID, name, etc.).
