"Streamlined Identity Management with Powerful Conditional Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

I use Microsoft Entra ID for centralizing and managing user identities, which is incredibly helpful. One of the standout features is Conditional Access, which I find to be a real security control. It allows me to enforce risk-based access decisions based on multiple risk vectors rather than static rules. I also appreciate the support for SAML, SCIM, OIDC, and OAuth, which reduces the need for custom identity work. Microsoft Entra ID scales well without additional operational overhead. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and I love how it enables identity to function as a control plane, adapting access decisions in real time and integrating almost all applications effortlessly. What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

One of the bigger issues with Entra ID that I have had is self-inflicted. Conditional Access is incredibly powerful, but too many policies can cause overlapping issues and eventually you have a spiderweb of policy that is difficult to reason through and untangle. In addition, I've found that licensing between tiers can be confusing when trying to determine which identity protections are available without additional purchases. There isn't too much off the top of my head, potentially better tooling around policy versioning and one-click rollbacks with Conditional Access would be useful.
