I find Microsoft Entra ID helpful to have in a cloud environment, it makes the management of IDs and users convenient. The removal of the requirement for on-premise Active Directory simplifies the overall setup. I really value its conditional access feature. The setup process is complicated, and the licensing can be challenging to manage. Additionally, there are restrictions on how much you can customise the product. As we are using the hybrid cloud and also having guest users for which this is the best thing as we don’t have to create the user account in on premise we just directly send invitation to guest user and they can directly access the company environment with their own company account. I have my SQL database integrated with it, and it's very good in terms of integration with SQL, Azure cloud, etc. The initial setup presented no challenges for me. It integrates easily with our login platforms. Since we already use much of the Microsoft suite of products, adding this was straightforward and fit in without much effort.
