I use Microsoft Entra ID to manage secure access to our applications and Microsoft services. I like that it covers user authentication, SSO, multifactor authentication and role-based access. One of the best features is how it reduces a lot of risk by securing multiple things together. The MFA feature is amazing because it allows important applications to be logged in only after OTP and facial recognition. I appreciate how, if someone unauthorized tries to gain access, the security system blocks them instantly, and the logs can trace the origin, reducing risk. Also, the initial setup was very easy. I like the centralized control and visibility Microsoft Entra ID provides over users and access. Managing accounts, permissions, and security policies in one place makes administration much more efficient. Some advanced security and identity features require higher tier licenses, which can limit full implementation depending on budget. The interface can also feel complex at times, especially when configuring conditional access or troubleshooting sign-in issues. Microsoft Entra ID comes with certain limitations and can be somewhat confusing to set up, especially when trying to configure it correctly for an organization that is evolving. User identity protection via login is heavily protected now with Single Sign on, password authentication for user simplification, and MFA has drastically reduced our user vulnerabilities for our more technically challenged users.
