What we like is esay enrollment of our partners as guest users and integrating with microsoft tenant. We can also design the self service onboarding portal for end users. It also supports conditional polcies and MFA controlls to implement our organisation security policies. It's easy to enroll and allow application access accross the organisation. The most helpful thing about Microsoft Entra External ID is it gives a safe and easy way to communicate with external users such as my partners or volunteers on documents and projects. I personally along as hundreds of my collegues use this platform on a daily basis! My collegues ages vary from in their 20's to their 60's, all seem to use this easily or are able to learn it very quickly. What i dislike about Microsoft Entra External ID is some of my external partners or volunteers have trouble accessing certain documents sent to them depending on which internet browser they are using. Microsoft Entra External ID solves the problem of working safely on confidential information with external partners or volunteers. Weekly i am able to send out spreadsheets or other documents to external users and know the user is going to be able to access it easily as well as having an eas of mind knowing the information is safe.
