## Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Reviews
  ### 1. Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narender R. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

Comprehensive Identity and Access Management

EMS leverages Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to provide robust identity and access management. This includes features like single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies, ensuring that only authorized users can access corporate resources. Implementing MFA has been shown to reduce the risk of unauthorized access by over 99.99%

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

Complex Licensing and Feature Overlap

Users have noted that the licensing structure can be complex, with overlapping features between different plans (e.g., EMS E3 vs. Microsoft 365 E5). This can lead to confusion about which features are included and whether additional licenses are necessary for full functionality.

**What problems is Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securing Access to Corporate Resources

In today's mobile and remote work environments, ensuring that only authorized users can access corporate applications and data is paramount. EMS provides robust identity and access management solutions to safeguard against unauthorized access.

  ### 2. All-in-One Security and Management Solution with Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

I appreciate how Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security simplifies device management and data protection by allowing everything to be handled from a single platform. Its robust identity security, including multi-factor authentication, is a standout feature. The seamless integration with Microsoft 365 ensures that all components work together efficiently, eliminating the need for additional tools.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

One aspect I find challenging about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security is that the initial setup and ongoing management can seem quite complex. Certain features demand precise configuration, and I often find the differences between licensing options, such as E3 and E5, to be confusing. Additionally, troubleshooting problems can require navigating through several different portals, which does not always make the process easy or intuitive.

**What problems is Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security addresses significant challenges related to device management, identity protection, and data security. It helps keep company data secure, even when employees are working remotely or using their own devices. With features such as Intune, maintaining device compliance becomes more straightforward, and Entra ID offers secure access through multi-factor authentication. For me, this means reduced risk, easier management, and the ability to work securely from any location without concerns about data leaks.

  ### 4. Difficult Setup and Usability Hinder Experience

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia J M. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

Nothing. We did not like anything about this product.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

I found setting up Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security to be quite difficult. The constant need to sign in and re-sign in was cumbersome, especially with multiple accounts that made it unclear which to use. This created many user issues and a general lack of ease in using the software. We eventually stopped using it due to its non-intuitive nature. Integrating it with other software was also unsuccessful due to the same usability challenges. There were no features I found particularly useful, and overall, I wouldn't consider purchasing or recommending it unless the company undergoes significant changes.

**What problems is Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

  ### 5. Comprehensive and highly integrated Security Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

The configuration process is straightforward, allowing MDM to be set up on personal devices with ease. It actively monitors for security threats and blocks any suspicious activity. Additionally, it offers integrated SSO for both on-premise and cloud environments.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security?**

The integration with third-party apps can sometimes be less than seamless and not as straightforward as I would like.

**What problems is Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Device security, protection for both cloud and on-premises applications, privacy safeguards, compliance risk management, and single sign-on are all important aspects.
