While the default browser of Internet Explorer never quite delivered in performance in prior Windows versions, the latest version of Edge has been quite the competitor to Firefox and Chrome. It is very lightweight and gives a streamlined browsing experience. It's memory and disk usage is very low in comparison to that of other browsers. What has really made the new Edge the default browser for me that it is based on Chromium. It gives the hassle-free and fast browsing that Chrome offers without taking a toll on your CPU resources. It also has a great support for extensions, which Edge didn't have on release. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?** Microsoft Edge isn't very customizable compared to Firefox and Chrome, and it doesn't have the wide range of extensions that they do. What I really dislike about Edge is that when you open Outlook on the browser, it automatically leads you to the mail box of the Microsoft account that is logged in on the computer. This is very invasive of our privacy on shared computers when someone else wants to check their emails on Edge. It shouldn't log you in automatically without your permission. **Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Edge:** Microsoft Edge is a great browser that can function on any computer regardless of its hardware specifications due to how little resources it requires to suit your browsing needs. **What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Edge as my primary browser as it runs excellently on my computer for long hours even with multiple tabs open. There's never been a moment where it froze during usage or crashed due to a lot of tabs being there. The benefit I've realized is that much like other browsers, Edge can be used on mobile and it allows syncing of data with your computer so that your bookmarks and your browsing data are available across devices. ### 2. This seems (to me) especially true if you have multiple windows opened. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?** The built in blocking features in Edge make it harder to share pages on social media. Often, you may find, pages appear to be missing the links for places like Facebook, Twitter, etc. If you were to copy/paste that same URL from Edge into Chrome, they then magically appear. In addition, there is a feature called 'vertical tabs' which allows you to view your tabs on the side of your screen. The Best part of Microsoft is it is free of cost. We have to pay nothing to use edge. 2. The best part is if you are a windows user then it will come pre-installed in your system hence no need to download manually in our system. 3. I don't know why people say that it is slow but i don't think so that it is slow in anyway, search is fast, no lagging time while opening, best way to make search possible. 4. Its plugin part is also great help to make our work fast. 5. We can select the search engine according to us to make our work done 6.
