## Microsoft Edge Reviews
  ### 1. User Experience and Benefits of Microsoft Edge Browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANSHUL A. | STUDENT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

I use Microsoft Edge every day for browsing and searching, and I really appreciate the rewards system—it’s straightforward and lets me earn free gift cards. I also like that there are fewer ads, and I enjoy the extensive selection of extensions, which help me accomplish almost anything I need. The privacy features are robust and dependable. What I value most is that I never encounter any downtime; it always runs smoothly for me. Since it came pre-installed on my PC, all I had to do was sign in, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Edge customer support is excellent too—I always get responses within 48 hours. Integration was also very easy, and I also love the moderated search feature it hides the adult content and any adult searches from my younger brother and sister PC , I have bought my pc in 2018 and since then I am using it and it was my best decision because chrome takes too much memory and my pc can't handle that but Microsoft edge almost fulfills my all requirements and I am loving it

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

page always open in new tab, but I turned it off on settings and they can improve the search engine because sometimes I try to find something I don't get it quickly and it removes some of the relevant searches other than that I don't dislike anything

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Microsoft Edge for everyday browsing and searching, benefiting from its reward system for free gift cards. It addresses daily tasks with features like Copilot for any problems and Microsoft edge strong privacy thanks to thousands of extensions and a lesser ad system. It solves my daily life problems for example if I want to know something i just use copilot and it helps me so much and it helps me with my college assignment, projects and exam preparations it almost an allrounder pack for me, the integrated extension packs in edge also helps me too much with my data, it saves my login info so I don't have to login every single time and the user friendly settings if I want to do something I can easily do it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincenzo F. | Finance Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

Microsoft Edge for Business has very strong security features and it is easy to use. I also like that it is linked up with my chrome extensions and websites. I also enjoy the fact that it is linked with Co-Pilot now so it makes it easier to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

I still instinctively go to Chrome before Microsoft Edge because I am just used to that, there is nothing wrong with Microsoft Edge I am just used to Google Chrome.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us with researching issues or problems that may come up. I mainly use it for my field work when I have to figure out how to get from location to location.

  ### 6. Microsoft Edge: Reliable for Managing Vendor Portals and Sensitive Logistics Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raju K. | Team lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

What I like best about Microsoft Edge is that, as a logistics manager, I can handle multiple vendor portals and shipment-tracking systems while also working with contracts, invoices, and other sensitive operational data.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

In logistics, we often work with several real-time systems at once, and performance consistency is critical. Occasionally, certain legacy supplier portals are optimized better for other browsers, which can cause minor compatibility issues.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In logistics, I often have to juggle shipment tracking platforms, supplier portals, ERP dashboards, and internal reporting tools at the same time. Having everything available together helps me make decisions faster and keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly.

  ### 7. Easy-to-Use Developer Tools for Quick Website Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

The developer tools are easy to use and make it simple to find and troubleshoot errors on websites.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

One of my biggest criticisms is that Edge constantly tries to push Microsoft services. It repeatedly prompts me to use Microsoft Bing and also encourages me to use Microsoft Copilot.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Edge also tends to be a bit less resource-hungry than Chrome, especially when I have dozens of tabs open.

  ### 8. Clean UI, Low RAM Usage, and Nice Copilot Feature

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sriansh P. | Vulnerability Researcher, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

Lowest RAM usage, a clean UI, and you can earn vouchers for using it. The interface feels the cleanest to me, and the Copilot feature is nice too.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

that's it not to mainstream and there is no inbuilt adblocker.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of Chrome’s high RAM usage, and now I can use the browser with much lower RAM usage.

  ### 9. Like Chrome, but Fewer Extensions and Too Pushy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garrett M. | IT Compliance Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

I'm not a huge fan of edge, it is like chrome, but not as good not as many things, like extensions etc.. work with edge.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Note my last answer it's like chrome but doesn't seem to have as many extensions that work with edge and tries way to hard to force me to use it inconveniently.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

if I use edge it's because chrome has an issue or isn't installed

  ### 10. Microsoft universe but changing the search engine is quite complicated...

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

What I like the most is the full compatibility with Chrome extensions while enjoying more advanced and better natively integrated privacy features. The immersive reading mode is amazing for focusing on the text without being distracted by ads or side menus. The integrated web screenshot function, which allows capturing an entire page or just a specific area, is a productivity tool that I use daily.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

I regret that the data synchronization between my phone and my computer sometimes encounters small glitches on Microsoft Edge, forcing me to reconnect manually. The settings interface of Microsoft Edge has become extremely dense over the updates, making the search for a specific option quite complex. Finally, a major downside is the Bing search engine imposed by default in Microsoft Edge. You have to dig quite a bit in the settings to change it.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major advantage is having an AI assistant directly integrated to summarize web pages or generate content without switching windows. This solution makes it easier to read long PDF documents thanks to its integrated annotation tools and its very natural text-to-speech function.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

I also appreciate features like vertical tabs, collections, and built-in PDF tools, which are genuinely useful for productivity without needing extra add-ons.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Sometimes Edge feels too closely tied to the Microsoft ecosystem, with frequent prompts to use Bing or sign in. While not intrusive, it can be slightly annoying. Memory usage can also increase when many tabs are open, though performance remains stable overall.

The use of Microsoft Edge tools such as Collections, along with the availability of vertical tabs, ensures that multitasking is made easier. The synchronization between Microsoft Edge and Windows ensures that tasks such as the synchronization of bookmarks and password synchronization occur effectively. This ensures that security against harmful sites is provided.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Features appear hidden and require more clicks to access or turn them on. Sometimes updates reset settings in unexpected ways. Extension support is being improved, though it lags behind other browsers. Sometimes the interface becomes cluttered if more than one toolbar/feature is active at the same time. It functions properly, but some minor issues appear periodically.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Edge provides the solution for the problem of safe and efficient browsing with its speed, toolset, and security. It lessens the need for various add-ons because of its in-built security functions, collections, and vertical tabs. When devices are synced, the bookmarks, passwords, and history are all in sync. ### 23. Last Choice Browser

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandy H. | T, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

In all honesty, the only thing I like about the browser is the fact that it comes installed on the computer and can be utilized as a backup to the other browsers I am more preferential to using.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Although it is a functioning web browser, it is basic at its core. I find that it opens on its own and has a difficult time loading when trying to conduct a search. While it is easy to open and implement, it is not easy to integrate, as it struggles to function. It appears to have a mind of its own. Because of this, my frequency of use is limited to only utilizing it if there is a freeze or delay in my current browser (which is rare). It is limited in features, as well. I cannot speak to customer service.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Edge:**

If you are looking for a basic browser, this will do the trick.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not currently solving any problems with Microsoft Edge, as I do not like using this particular web browser. I find it difficult to incorporate into my computer usage because of its delays. I can give it credit for being easy to use, though.

  ### 24. Great Copilot Sidebar Integration, but Too Many Default Browser Prompts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

Copilot integration – Microsoft’s AI assistant is built into the sidebar, making it easy to summarize pages, answer questions, and handle similar tasks.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Aggressive prompts: it frequently nudges me to set it as my default browser or switch to Bing.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you’re on Windows and want a fast browser with useful built-in tools—like PDF editing, an AI sidebar, and efficiency mode—Edge is a strong option. On the other hand, if you prefer a leaner extension ecosystem or you’d rather avoid Microsoft’s ecosystem nudges, Chrome or Firefox may be a better fit.

  ### 25. Fast, Easy Search with Plenty of Resources in Microsoft Edge

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed S. | GNOC FO Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

Nothing is wrong with Microsoft Edge. It’s easy to use and works well.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s benefiting me because I’m able to get all the information I need.

  ### 26. Vertical Tabs and Workspaces Make Browsing Much Easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Executive Office | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

The vertical tabs and workspaces make my life as an IT Manager much easier.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

I haven’t noticed any downsides so far, and I’m now using it fully instead of Chrome.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to segregate my administrative work into different workspaces, which helps me keep everything organized and separated.

  ### 27. Simple Chrome-Like UI with Smart Copilot Insights and Strong Performance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

The simple chrome like UI/UX, integrations of copilot AI intelligence with page level insights, performance is better after chromium update, descent pricing and support

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

still feels old design and less developer friendly like the inspect and stuff with some lags in extension's integrations

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good everyday tool

  ### 28. Solid, Privacy-First Browser Not Driven by Ads

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

Vertical tabs feature is very useful, because as I am a sales recuriter i deal with many candidate profiles on a daily basis

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

sometimes feels overly integrated with Microsoft features within the browser. This can feel slightly distracting during candidate screening sessions.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My tab management while sourcing candidates. As a recruiter, I often work with 20+ tabs open. It reduced time and made my sourcing workflow much more efficient.

  ### 30. Easy Microsoft Integration That Keeps Work Browsing Separate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

I likee how it integrates easily with other Microsoft Products and is trying to incorporate COPilot into the Browser's functionality for easier assistance. I access all my work intranets using Edge every day to keep separate from my personal browsing. Like other browsers on the market, Edge is easy to figure out and use with its navigation, dev tools, and other similar features.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

I'm not crazy how it's forcing us to adopt Copilot. Every update adds more CoPilot features in places where it's not necessary. I'm also not crazy that when it updates, some settings of mine seem to keep getting reset. For instance, after every update, the browser goes back to displaying my local weather. I don't care about it!

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me another tool when working to easily integrate with other work related tools in our intranet such as SharePOint online and PowerApps. Granted other browsers can do this, but Edge has a more personal touch to it.

  ### 31. Chromium Power Without Chrome's Bloat — Lightweight and Fast

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

It brings the best of a Chromium browser without the bloat of Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

I would like a more modern interface if that makes sense in future updates.

**What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster internet speed and more flexible than Chrome.

  ### 32. Edge synonym of stability and trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro C. | Production / Engineer, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Microsoft Edge?**

What I like most is the almost perfect integration with the other Microsoft tools.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Edge?**

What I find less interesting is the tendency to direct almost everything towards Microsoft's tools.

I have been using Microsoft Edge from the last 15 years and am still using it. My experience has been very smooth and efficient. This browser is optimized for work. It offers very good features like separation of profiles, good enterprise, great security and also the integration with Microsoft applications such as office 365 and SharePoint online. If we talk about it's speed and compatibility it works very well handles multiple tabs and web applications without any significant slowdowns and also switching between personal and work profiles. It is the easiest to use this web browser for surfing the internet and viewing the pdf documents easily. I have been using this browser daily for both the personal and business uses. **What problems is Microsoft Edge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe that the most complicated part is the transition and adaptation to change. However, I think we should see problems as challenges; not as difficulties, but as obstacles to overcome. They are challenges inherent to this new era.

It's faster than Chrome, use less RAM and implements some additional nice functionality like the immersive reading. Developer tools works well (as in Chrome)

Use less RAM than Chrome, and has some nice feature like the immersive reading that allows you to extract text from a page and read it in a super simple and higly readable page avoiding ads and useless additional graphic that are usually shown in the pages. It has also the "read aloud" functionality but I'm not a big fun of it.
