This cloud-based security system detects, investigates and alerts about suspicious activities within an organisation's architecture. MDI monitors user & entity behaviour and patterns and also protects credentials and identities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Defender for Identity?

Currently, there is no option to implement remedial solutions using the platform itself; it only works like an alerting system. You cannot use MDI to fix anything as of now and have to go into the system to do the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Defender for Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?

Security alerts are the most helpful feature to detect any malicious activity. The alert service is graphic in nature; hence it is easy to analyse security threats via visualisation. The alert language is simple, and there are ample visual indicators to show the severity of the threat. Security alerts also have description along with evidence(if any) and an option to export this.
