  ### 7. Essential Security for Cloud Applications

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?**

MDCA integrates seamlessly with Teams and other Office 365 , working silently in the background without noticeable impact to performance of my system. Great thing is it integrates nicely with Defender for Endpoint, making it even more useful.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Defender for Cloud?**

This tool has some issues connecting with third party apps, limiting the ability of the app to just Microsoft defined use cases. Another rather painful fact is that even though the integration with other Microsoft apps is great , the setup is unnecessarily challenging, which may need some tweaking to be done .

**What problems is Microsoft Defender for Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The real time security threat protection and data loss prevention system is a lifesaver, making the cloud relatively a safer place to store data in without much worry.
