It is advantageous and makes the cleaning and matching data a easy, fast, and straighforward task to implement. Automation is easily achieved by integrating with SSIS (SQL Server integration services). What do you dislike about Microsoft Data Quality Services? Data Quality client needs some bug fixes, improvements, and upgrades. Nothing has changed in the app since its release in 2012. It seems Microsoft / SQL Server team doesn't care fo it anymore. Also, there is no apparent reason not to be part of the standard edition of SQL Server, which would help increase its adoption by the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Data quality was a big issue for the business because it received a lot of CSV files from external providers without following any standard or conformity. I like that the data analysis is computer-assisted, but it's also interactive, so that we can really "manage" the knowledge of our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Microsoft Data Quality Services? This works well for our company because most of the platforms we use are from the Microsoft Office Suite. What problems is Microsoft Data Quality Services solving and how is that benefiting you? Before using this product, we didn't really have a standardized way to clean up our data. We collected participant data every few weeks during our training sessions, and we had to compile that data at the end of every month, then at the end of the year. Our solution before was basically to go through it manually, which was very time consuming. Microsoft Data Quality Services saves us time and produces less errors than we previously had. It can be kind of hard to figure out at first and finding certain options or tools can be confusing.
