What do you like best about Microsoft Bookings?

What do you like best about Microsoft Bookings?

Microsoft Booking offers a lot of different options to help me organize the agenda of my colleagues. This all-inclusive software helps you from the booking until the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Bookings?

It can be hard to learn how to prepare your booking page and your services. I created those for many of my colleagues and many didn't use Booking finally because the platform was too complex for them.

What do you like best about Microsoft Bookings?

Its is easy and user interface is easy to learn, it helps in scheduling appointment for the business and it helps us to calculate how much revenue we have made through such scheduled meetings and appointments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Bookings?

The only down side is it is not applicable for home user and it comes bundled with "for business" user only

So if you have personal, student or home account, microsoft booking will not be available on your account.

What problems is Microsoft Bookings solving and how is that benefiting you?

For both internal customers (people in the same organization) or outside people, I have to be able to let them create appointments by seeing my free time and selecting it. This solution is no additional cost(part of Microsoft 365) and let's my customers set appointments with me or specific people on my team. It can even take payments for paid services. What do you like best about Microsoft Bookings?

It's easy to integrate into Teams and is free if you have the right subscription to 360 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Bookings?

Like most Microsoft products, it provides the minimum capability of allowing clients to book appointments on your website but it fails these basic other areas.

- Very limited ability to format the look of the webpage and content gathered from the clients. - The 6 or so templates are pretty ugly by my standards.

- In teams it can only show a portion of one day at a time. No week or month view making you scroll around A LOT to see all your booked appointments making it easy to miss them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Bookings solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is very hard to properly embed on a Wordpress website. No matter what you do it cuts off the top and the bottom. It somehow ignores the iframe measurements and just does what it wants.

Our logo always appears with a square around it no matter how we format the alpha channel

The email it sends the client after they book is ugly and very Microsofty - if they aren't reading carefully it looks more like a microsoft spam than an appointment with us

If the client uses the rescheduling feature, it doesn't work but also doesn't tell anyone the request was made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Bookings?

Integration for Outlook Calendar is okay; nothing remarkable about it.

Not user-friendly on the page because you cannot cater/edit anything personable. You cannot edit the messages that are sent to clients.

The bookings to your link have not worked. With over 300 candidates I have reached out to in the last two months, I have had over 60% say the link doesn't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Bookings?

Bookings is already included in MS 365 Business subscriptions so it doesn't require an additional fee. It also integrates well with Outlook mail and calendar, so for Microsoft 365 subscribers, it makes more sense than using another 3rd scheduling solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Bookings?

It takes a bit of configuration, especially if you have several people who can offer a range of services, but that is only to be expected with this kind of software. Once configured it works well and is easy to maintain. It could have more options for branding when embedding on a website, that's something that might improve in the future. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Bookings:

Plan your staff/services and preferred schedules properly in advance. Make sure everyone can commit to their assigned slots. Make sure you configure appropriate limits for the time between bookings, how close to a meeting you will allow changes etc. If you are embedding on a web site, bear in mind that you may not be able to achieve the exact branding to match the rest of your site. What problems is Microsoft Bookings solving and how is that benefiting you?

Main use case is supplier meetings and candidate interviews - making these self serve through Bookings greatly improves time management and efficiency. The supplier or candidate can pick a time that suits them and if they need to change it, they can make the changes themselves and notifications and reminders are all automated.
