I like any ability to go ahead and use a computer inside of a computer. However, the Windows Virtual Desktop is not my favorite. I found it to be much laggier than other clients. It was able to be used with other clients, like Azure and AWS, for additional functionality. Once you're in there, if you're used to using Micrsoft, you're able to use a virtual client the same way you would any other way. There is certainly a lag to this client. I prefer Amazon Workspaces for the customer support and reliability. Honestly, I could not get past the lag. one of the fastest RDP services out there if you are looking to have another workstation. It's very easy to integrate with the .NET for CI/CD pipeline since it's already under Microsoft umbrella. If your team is developing an application on Windows system then you should consider using this. Another good thing about this is that the machine is sharable. Many people can manage, access and contribute to the machine without interrupting each other. For other service, you may need to input your windows license, but for this it's already included.
