Microsoft is known for its professional level, and enterprise software packages. Access is very commonly used, so you know you're at par with most other companies and how they do their database work. Having worked with many database IDEs, such as Toad, and SQL Developer, I can attest that Access is a comparable product. The interface is very smooth and simply works in a relatively intuitive way - creating tables, running queries, joins to create views and so on. The product does all that we want and without limits. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Access?** Like many Microsoft products, the "bells and whistles" can be overkill. There's a whole lot of menus and options for things that can be done with my database, but are things that I would never want to do.
