You can create a database and the back-end tables behind it very quickly. Access has a number of wizards within it that help you set up the tables that are needed. The software does not provide the performance/security capabilities of the enterprise solutions from Microsoft (e.g. SQL Server). When using Microsoft Access, one needs to determine whether it's the best fit for your organization or whether you need a higher-grade tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Access: If you are working in a major organization, make sure that you have consulted with your IT department about whether they allow the use of Microsoft Access in-house and whether or not there is another solution they would like to pursue. Microsoft access is a professional business-oriented tool by Microsoft which is used to address databases of small to medium enterprises. It is a cost-effective solution, with easy to use interface. One of the best things which I like about Microsoft access is its easy integration with other Microsoft office products, which makes data integration quite easy. The least helpful thing about the product is why did I start using the product so late? Access right now holds on to a very small market segment despite it being a very good product .
