Also when CI CD pipelines run for .net, Actual Mainframe cobol logs are not accurate. You can easilydevelop your cobol changes in Visual studio. You can run it on windows, unix or linux basically you can say the non mainframe operating system. **What do you dislike about Rocket Visual COBOL?** I think there is nothing which I dislike about this application. It is very easy to make changes in micro focus cobol programs with the help of visual studio. Please start using it. **What problems is Rocket Visual COBOL solving and how is that benefiting you?** The coding pattern is little different in micro focus Cobol and you can easily use VSAM as a database in it. It's an English like language that makes it very easy to understand and still widely used with mainframes system using microfocus with Unix servers **What do you dislike about Rocket Visual COBOL?** No support to object oriented programming, it's only a structured language. **Recommendations to others considering Rocket Visual COBOL:** Microfocus is definitely an alternate to systems which are not that portable on distributed applications **What problems is Rocket Visual COBOL solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a very simple and strong language that is still widely used with mainframes which supports 80 percent of banks and insurance till date. ### 11.
