## About Mezmo
Mezmo built an AI SRE agent that helps SRE and platform teams manage production environments with greater context, control, and trust. It supports autonomous incident detection, investigates incidents, identifies likely root causes, generates post-mortems, and turns repeatable operations work into governed agentic workflows on-call teams can rely on. The agent runs on AURA, Mezmo’s open-source agent harness, and is grounded by Mezmo’s real-time telemetry pipeline. Together, they give the agent task-ready context from logs, metrics, and traces instead of raw data dumps. Mezmo keeps production AI inspectable and controlled. Teams can connect their own models, integrate existing tools through MCP, run workflows on their own infrastructure, and audit every plan, prompt, and tool call. Mezmo is built for SRE and platform teams that want to bring AI into production operations without giving up control, context, or trust.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I love the filtering capabilities, but more importantly, the ability to set up alerts and dashboards. It's significantly improved our appsec and production stability program.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

While the filtering language is super powerful, it can be a bit confusing at times. Aside from super basic queries, I need to have a cheat sheet handy most of the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Take the time to learn the full feature set rather than "just" using it for logs.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Production log analysis used to involve requesting logs from a devops engineer, sharing and saving large files, and then lots of grep-work. LogDNA eliminated all of those problems, and improved our security / compliance posture in the process.

  ### 3. LogDNA helps in reviewing logs and analyzing them at ease .

Call Flows for cloud services .

  ### 4. LogDNA ticks all the boxes at a good price point

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

JSON indexing, Python library, "highlight terms" feature

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

The search query field works fine but I would like to see faceted search UI like you see in other log viewers.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using its Python library we are able to use LogDNA to push logs from environments where we do not have the ability to install a dedicated agent.

  ### 5. LogDNA hits the spot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I appreciate that LOGDNA is easy to use and highly customizable

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I find that the parameter extraction can be glitchy, and the graphing could be improved

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

It's a great product, give a try

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me see all my server logs in one place and makes it easy to troubleshoot issues that involve multiple components of our system.

  ### 6. Logdna helped my team to be very fast and solve bugs in a active way!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I love the logdna log filters, they are very complete and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I would like better tutorials, sometimes Im not able to find what I want at the docs.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Try their alerts, they are great!

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and debugging apps. Logdna is very fast and reliable at warning the developers with its alerts and filtering logs.

  ### 7. Blissful log access for developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James Q. | Director of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

LogDNA built a product against a market that was already saturated with log searching and aggregation SaaS tools. But they executed beautifully. The UI is exceptional, administration is a breeze, searching is painless, access control is well thought out and granular.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

There's almost nothing to dislike. I wish that searching was a little faster in some cases, but that's usually resolved by limiting the scope of your search to a single application. Also, I'm just impatient.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

LogDNA is a great tool especially if you're cloud native. They provide many integrations that make it easy to get started. Their support is top tier and if you're are a compliance conscious organization they've got you covered.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we used LogDNA all our logs were tied up in AWS Cloudwatch. Access controls we're complicated. Setting up log streaming was a pain. Cloudwatch felt like an afterthought.

LogDNA is extremely easy to manage, offers near real time access to log data and they made it easy for us to use their product since they are SOC compliant.

  ### 8. Solid Log Aggregation Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared A. | Site Reliability Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Easy installation into Kubernetes. Simple to use UI.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

No support for ARM64v8 processors, which makes it harder to use in IoT environments where it could be incredibly useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

LogDNA is leagues easier to use than alternatives like Splunk and Datadog.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogDNA helps me solve the problem of log-retention while using Kubernetes.

  ### 9. Perfect to log everything our app does

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pirjo K. | R&D secretary, Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I like the fact that we have one place where all the app users data get logged. Since we have SaaS and Android app then it is extremely helpful to get the user data collected in one place.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

The layout of the log reminds me a bit of command prompt in Windows. And the text is small so I have to enlarge it to be able to read it better.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a place where our app users data will be logged. Since launching our app it has been crucial in finding errors and solving them.

  ### 10. Short but pretty good experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo B. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

- Easy to integrate with Aptible
- Custom views

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Actually, there was nothing I particularly disliked.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

N/A

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- I needed to connect my app and store HIPAA compliant logs
- LogDNA is a service pretty easy to integrate with
- Multiple users and multiple views was an advantage for us

  ### 11. Fast and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Easy to integrate
Easy search
Slack integration for alerts

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I attach objects to log messages, but if they're too big (which is not hard to reach), logDna doesn't store them.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

See what happens on the servers
Identify problems and start debugging with the attached error messages.

  ### 12. Great experience of a central hub for all our logs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Daniel S. | Data Scientist and Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

We tried multiple solutions until we finally ended with logDNA. It has been very helpful keeping, in a single place, track of multiple applications and services with a consistent uniform experience.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I think logDNA does an ok job indexing logs metadata but it could improve the experience while searching the indexed data

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we solved with logDNA was the spread of logs from diverse applications in multiple platforms. It's very satisfying to go to LogDNA and find exactly how apps, products and the servers are doing using simple views

  ### 13. Searching your logs becomes dead simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin W. | Co-founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Search is by far the best feature. You simply can search using a bunch of different search operators and exclusions to get very precise with what you're looking for.

Secondly, the alerts is an awesome feature. We use it to power many of our pagerduty alerts so that if a specific error, or custom logging message shows up we can page our engineers to investigate.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Overall, everything is good. The product is overall very fast, the UI is fairly good. The main area of improvement I would suggest is to make the top UI bar where you are selecting sources easier to comprehend and navigate. I often and searching the logs only to realize I'm in the wrong context.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to search and easily filter the gigantic amount of logdata that our app creates has been incredibly helpful.

  ### 14. A great logging tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | Founder and CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The searchable database for error logs is top notch and one of the best out there. Incredibly easy GUI to find, diagnose, and detect issues

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Limited retention of data to 14 days. But other than that, it's a fantastic product!

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Diagnosing bugs

  ### 15. Best logging experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José Victor S. | DevOps Analyst Pl., Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

LogDNA basically only provides one task, the logging experience and do it very well! Most applications try to solve many problems not being particularly good in any one but the LogDNA is different.

The installation is trivial for you kubernetes mesh using a Daemonset and works out-of-the-box.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I would appreciate some Dashboards integration based on logs and more robust alerts as well.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logs visualizer, our developers are able to easly track and find problems using logdna. From a business and infraestructure perspective.

  ### 16. Real-time searchable access to logs across our clusters

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The ease of setting up/configuring LogDNA and using the interface has been an invaluable piece of our engineering team's process. It works great at being able to gather and search logs across our applications by relative time range - this is one of the best features for us.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Not much. The better we get at logging (more structure), the better LogDNA works for us. Limiting the number of users that we can have on is the worst thing we've encountered and probably the one thing I'd change.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With LogDNA we've been able to aggregate our container logs across three separate environments in a HIPAA-compliant way. Having real-time searchable access and the ability to configure filters/notifications off of the logs has been invaluable in debugging issues, monitoring our application, and more.

  ### 17. LogDNA - Insight into your logs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph D. | Database Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

LogDNA is great at quickly getting you access to your logs in an easily searchable and alert-able format

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

If you have too many hosts then it won't display them all

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used LogDNA for early warning alerting for problems with our streaming Wowza server. Used it to identify what started to happen before streaming issues would start and then alert on these early warning signs to get ahead of the problem instead of reacting to the outage.

  ### 18. Easy set up and price friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff O. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

k8s integration was super easy, and guides to set up serverless flow through cloudwatch was quick to set up as well.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Sometimes when scrolling back through log history, queries are slow or time out.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

If you're using k8s, its a 5 minute setup, worth doing a trial to see if it meets your needs.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps troubleshoot historical customer issues. Notifications for restarts or connection losses.

  ### 19. Slow, but works affordably

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The price is better than competitors like Loggly

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Time to see the logs can take a minute or two to show. Real-time functionality is too slow to actually be called realtime.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for monitoring our backend services, IOT devices, and mobile app. We mainly use it to find bugs.

  ### 20. Great logging, for distributed systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The ability to aggregate all my pods logs in one place.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

The time it takes to parse sometimes is too big, and the refresh time also comes to be somewhat lenghty.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

If you need a professional grade logging solution, there is not much else where to look, the support and quality of the software are top notch

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we are dealing with a kubernetes cluster, the ability to see all the logs from all the pods in one simple stream of logs is awesome, it saves us lots of time instead of looking pod by pod.

  ### 21. Awesome Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel G. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I really enjoy the ability to create boards and view specific logs of different segments. This is really helpful when we are debugging our lambda functions.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Sometimes the UI breaks down and freezes and I need to reload the application.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us with debugging issues inside of our lambda functions as well issues with production.

  ### 22. Easiest Log Management for Kubernetes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

LogDNA is easily the best option for logging from Kubernetes. With two lines of code we were able to be up and running on k8s. Couldn’t have been easier or faster.
We also liked the ability to filter before storing with LogDNA. That gave us the control to only store and pay for the data that mattered to us. This is the only company I’ve seen that has this approach.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

LogDNA isn’t a SIEM solution. This doesn’t affect our current use cases, but could require us to add another package in the future if we decide to supplement our in-house SIEM analysis tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Strong features, and pretty good pricing since they don’t charge you for filtered data. Worth a try.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a high traffic platform, our business is obviously data-intensive. We collect terabytes of performance and debugging data every day from multiple k8s clusters around the world. Managing and indexing that much log data is a distraction from our core business. Remote logging tools like LogDNA let us search our large data sets in real-time and quickly debug issues.

  ### 23. Very Pleased

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

You can quickly get your agents installed and shipping to your account. The sales team was great to work with and each time I have had to use support they were very helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Nothing at the moment it is suiting our needs for what we are using it for.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogDNA gives us the ability to centralize our logs in one place. I was able to quickly filter through logs and create alarms that would notify our team in a timely manner.

  ### 24. Great ui and ux

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris T. | Vp engineering , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Better than papertrail and great ui. Pricing is good

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Duration of storage is too short. The search retention of only 14 days is much too short. We would prefer it to be longer since we don't always look at an issue immediately.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking user errors and reproducing the issue

  ### 25. Solid hands-off log aggregration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Don't have to run it - just runs in the cloud, I don't even think about it until I need to go find something. Never find that the log aggregation is broken and I lost my logs.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Cost seems to be somewhat unpredictable, likely due to varying load in our network, but monthly charge is not consistent.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send all of our logs from every device in our network here, then we can correlate events and find logs even after a device reboots.

  ### 26. Excellent, flexible, cost-effective logging provider

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan P. | Graduate Student, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Ease of integration and search makes this an indispensible log analysis tool. We also really like the highly customized alerts based on log lines that would be more difficult to do elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Search syntax could be simpler to use for advanced searching, but it is not a deal breaker.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a microservices architecture using kubernetes with thousands of containers running, and Logdna made managing logging coming from them all really seamless. Setup was as easy as running 2 commands to deploy logdna logging agents in our kubernetes cluster.

  ### 27. Do it, and do it well.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I like the live-tail output, and with filters applied, money!

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

UI is a bit unintuitive, but it’s conducive for its primary objective (and notably better than nearly all the alternatives).

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turns what otherwise is something you just “have”, that is logs, into a tool, something that can be useful. We’re just getting started with discovering utilities, but, for example it did expose and help us identify our most problematic queries.

  ### 28. LogDNA - A good idea, a bad implementation

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

It more or less works. The search feature hangs together.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

The entire UI is slow buggy and unreliable when you have a somewhat large amount of logs, and randomly just gives up and you have to reload and loose work. It doesn't give you what you need when you need it. The view in context is broken, one of the most important features we keep trying to use - you find a search result, then click view in context, and it just doesn't. The search is very hard to use for anything but basic terms. It's not clear how matching happens, and sometimes you get what you expect, but mostly you just don't.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Look elsewhere.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to solve aggregated logging so we can better facilitate debugging. It's worked somewhat, but the spotty searching results make it pretty hard to get the full benefit.

  ### 29. Good API, alerts could use some tweaks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Being able to set up MISSING event alerts! This is a HUGE help with repeating processes.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Unfortunately, those missing alerts have 0 wiggle room, so if a process takes one more second today than yesterday, you get a missing event alert.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting immediate notifications, despite the false negatives, when a process is not running as expected.

  ### 30. LogDNA is a must have for any tech company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

- LogDNA is very easy to integrate - takes 5min to setup
- LogDNA saves disk space - you dont need to store logs in your server anymore
- LogDNA views makes it easy to organize logs based on environment, service, filter, etc
- LogDNA alerts enable us to pro-actively identify bugs/crashes before our customers even had a chance to log support ticket
- LogDNA makes it easier to expose logs to everyone in the team without having to give them access to the production servers

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

There is nothing to dislike about this product

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogDNA has been helping us managing logs since early days (when our company was just 5 people). It helps us pro-actively identify bugs/crashes before our customers even had a chance to log support ticket.

  ### 31. Easy out of the box

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter G. | Peter Graham, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

ELK stack is hard. LogDNA is easy. Simple as that. It gives you everything you need to be successful so you don’t have to think about it anymore. I especially love the alerting system.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I can’t think of anything right now. LogDNA is great

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Production bugs and tracking how users got into that situation.

  ### 32. Awesome product. Great company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

We got up and running with LogDNA in no time at all. Having previously maintained infrastructure for a wide variety of logging solutions – including Scribe, Flume, and more – I can't tell you how awesome it felt to be up and running across all of our production infrastructure with one simple chef recipe. I can't say how important it is to have a reliable, scalable, and easy to deploy logging solution.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I haven't found any real negatives to date. The only critique I have is some of the filters and search interface features are a bit more oriented towards a power user than an infrastructure engineer ;) which is my background. Overall, wonderful project.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Amazing product. Great team. I would give them a try and see if the product works for you!

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogDNA has made logging something we don't even have to think about. All of our key infrastructure logs are consolidated in one easy to use location. It's awesome.

  ### 33. Simple and easy to operate log service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

- Easy to use and setup
- Great user experience
- Fully managed and scalable
- Alerts feature to get notification based on search / query

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Log managment

  ### 34. Easy to Do. Easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Setup was easy. Simple, in fact. We're using LogDNA from Aptible, so it was super-simple, but I looked at some of the other ingestion mechanisms too and they were also easy.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

There are occasional small bugs with log viewing and weirdness in how some things work. None have been earth shattering bad, but it can be a little annoying.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to maintain our own (HIPAA compliant) Elasticsearch cluster and archiving of logs over time. It was a pain. We spent a lot of time working on it. Now we don't.

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

good for finding issues using logdna logs

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

some times searching very slow in logdna

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Yes we will recommend to other customers

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

using logdna we are finding errors in error log then resolving

  ### 36. Great product that's simple, yet powerful. Backed by a great team that care.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas L. | Site Reliability Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The ease of getting started with LogDNA was incredible. We found it really simple to migrate from our old logging service. SSO and org discovery made it so easy for our engineers to adopt logdna without a massive setup period.

The team really listened to mine (and others) issues with alerting or missing logs and are always happy to help out.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Unfortunately the HIPAA plan pricing didn't scale too well for us. Only a small portion of our logs need to be stored in such a way but there is no way to separate log groups.

It would be great to have different log categories where you can adjust the retention period and HIPAA option to fine-tune the pricing.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developer logs, production logs - With running our system as a wide spread of microservices, giving developers access to the logs that they need can be challenging, especially when a request is distributed across multiple services. With LogDNA we can tie this all together to the view the path of a single request as it travels. through our microservice maze.

Alerting - While we mainly alert on metrics using an in-house system, LogDNA's log-pattern based alerts are a great way to quickly add non-intrusive alerts to any service

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Sometimes not being super versed in the UI. Got a tutorial though, so should be better!

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Production issue analysis and resolution. Knowing where and when errors are logged

  ### 38. Very good logging service.

  ### 40. Flexible Logger & Huge Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine R. | UX Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I love that you can drill down into multiple log levels and that reporting is instant so I do not need to delay or spend a long time searching for things. The customization opportunities are great, too. Our team shares multiple views for environments which makes it quick to access the things we are monitoring -- saving everyone time.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

I didn't discover the full suite of features and power tools until attending a webinar. I wish I knew the features earlier.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

After speaking with other developers who spend a lot of effort building reports on their logging tool, I'm grateful we have LogDNA. It feels great to be able to respond to a customer service request after doing research that takes seconds and can be done instantly. Anything I dislike is due to how we have configured it and how we tag our events -- not due to the capabilities of the tool.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have to tail the logs on our own or do any reporting for errors outside of LogDNA. When we get blips on our radar, we have a single source to look for information and can access granular or aggregated statistics rapidly.

  ### 41. Right features + Right price = Great Option for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** F B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

We really like the ability to archive our logs into AWS, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob, etc from even the lowest priced paid plan, Birch. The free plan allowed us to completely test our apps before committing to LogDNA. Archiving is super simple on LogDNA.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

We lost some Syslog records that were being filtered internally by LogDNA. Once we noticed it, LogDNA was able to custom parse our records for ingestion.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Try the free plan and see if it fits your needs. We were able to quickly determine that LogDNA was more than capable of doing everything we needed at a great price point.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a simple cloud based solution that could grow with us. We won a contract that required us to capture syslog data. We used our own servers to capture that data, but LogDNA made it much easier for us to ingest and archive the data quickly and efficiently. LogDNA really solved it fast. We don't worry about that part of the business and it enables us to concentrate on our core requirements.

  ### 42. Best product of logging in market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham D. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

This product is the cheapest and simple. This product gives support for different platforms like cloud, kubernetes and hosted machines. The search and tagging functionality has helped a lot in debugging. I found it the best product with kubernetes support as it classifies logs based on apps name, namespace and other kube meta.

The support is quick and useful. I got replies to all my queries quickly and actions were taken wherever required.

The alerting mechanism helps to know when our service goes down or misbehaves. The support of slack mail and webhook has helped us to take quick action and restart our service if required.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

We can't set per machine/service logging limits.
Sometimes there is little lag in getting logs.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we were moving to a micro-service based architecture, debugging was the main pain point. Logdna helped in collecting and visualising logs from different machines, from different formats, into a single and intuitive UI. We use logdna to debug all our services.

  ### 43. LogDNA is great and cost effective!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver W. | Dr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

LogDNA’s service is easy to use and set up, and their interface makes it easy to break out log data according to my needs.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

The log parsing and graphing is finicky and fails to parse some types of heroku logs

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogDNA has helped me gain better visibility into errors generated in my applications as well as monitoring server load to optimize our system.

  ### 44. Excellent UI and functionality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Relations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The ease of use of understanding the logs and the excellent graphs that made I easy to see what was happening with the applications. Also the dark mode was a plus.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Not having a fluent-bit integration for kubernetes

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have real-time log aggregation at the application level

  ### 45. Onboarding

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

All OS and apps able to be used even if a custom app just pointing to type and location of log.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Lack of custom filters provided, OTS filters should be provided with this setup.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

ITs worth while.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How much data is being logged

  ### 46. Rather good for our needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

the ability to click and dive into logs. makes it rather easy to see where and when security events take place

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Fairly new so nothing has come up so far that is a deal breaker

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security and Compliance around system log retention

  ### 47. Ok, but not great

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The interface is very good - different error levels are easy to see

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Lag, poor searching, poor JSON parsing, logging limited to 32k per message

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can't view our raw logs so using LogDNA allows us access to real-time issue

  ### 48. LogDNA is a great simple product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian M. | VP of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

I love the simplicity of LogDNA. It works well for our small environment and seems to have the ability to scale up.
The pricing structure makes sense and suits our needs.
It's also super easy to install and set up on our servers. I've managed to add it to the provisioning system that we use.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Nothing, at the moment it suits our needs perfectly.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying to ensure that we can watch logs across multiple clusters and multiple machines. This allows any of our developers to watch for errors from a single interface, rather than having so SSH into each machine.
We're also not at the scale to run a system like this ourselves, so it's easier to use an existing product, like LogDNA.

  ### 49. Great developer friendly log aggregation platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin H. | Chief architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

Easy of routing log events into LogDNA and the easy of filtering and searching + alerting

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

Not being able to automate the dashboards, alerts and views via APIs

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

Read the manual (online) well, there are a lot of hidden gems which might not me revealed upon first usage.

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a centralized dashboard for developers to access the logs of our micro service based deployments cross multiple environments

  ### 50. Nice UI with some nifty features but reliability is an issue (missing logs etc.)

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Mezmo?**

The UI is awesome. Favourite viewing feature: showing only select parts of the parsed log; instead of seeing the entire log line, I can define my own custom viewer format like {{log.field}} {{log.anotherfield}} - this is something you can't do with competitors like papertrail.

**What do you dislike about Mezmo?**

While LogDNA has impressive features and has a great UI, we experienced many reliability issues. Logs often disappeared at ingestion (ingest API accepted event but log never showed up in LogDNA) and sometimes after ingestion (log showed up in live tail but disappeared after). This was a dealbreaker for us.

**Recommendations to others considering Mezmo:**

It's great if you don't mind occasional dropped/disappearing logs (e.g. you're sending logs to multiple destinations and you can query those for what you can't find on LogDNA)

**What problems is Mezmo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General log aggregation and log management (nginx logs, haproxy logs, system logs, app/custom logs, etc.)
