MetricsHub® is a universal infrastructure monitoring agent that provides modern observability platforms with deep visibility across the IT stack. Built on OpenTelemetry, it collects metrics from local and remote resources, such as hosts, services, and applications, and forwards them to observability backends like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk. MetricsHub collects comprehensive telemetry covering server hardware health, GPU health and performance, database performance, network devices, storage systems, energy consumption, and sustainability KPIs. It supports a wide range of platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, IBM, Lenovo, NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, NVIDIA, and AMD. MetricsHub connects to infrastructure through protocols such as SNMP, HTTP/REST, SSH, WMI, WBEM, and IPMI. A single agent can monitor multiple remote systems without requiring an agent on every monitored system, reducing deployment and maintenance effort. Its detailed hardware monitoring provides visibility into physical components such as disks, fans, power supplies, and temperature sensors, helping teams detect hardware degradation before it affects service availability. Power consumption and estimated carbon emissions metrics also help organizations understand and reduce the environmental impact of their IT infrastructure. MetricsHub extends existing observability platforms with infrastructure metrics that standard integrations may not provide, including detailed hardware health and storage telemetry. By standardizing metrics across vendors, it helps teams bring consistent infrastructure visibility into the tools they already use. By consolidating infrastructure data into a single observability pipeline, MetricsHub helps IT organizations ensure uptime, optimize operations, control costs, and support sustainability initiatives.
