I have explored very vigorously the on-screen take-off tool developed by your company. For the reviewing process, I have analyzed all the drawings (Piling, Drainage, Concrete Structure, Earthwork, Pavements), tables, tools, and interfaces in the on-screen take-off tool. Overall, you have developed a perfect application that is comprehensive, covers almost all aspects of the project, and is also very user-friendly.

The following are specific observations regarding the tool;

Needs improvements/modifications

• Undo and Re-do commands may be incorporated with buttons like Control+R and Control+Z so that one may easily make amendments/updates/changes.

• Similarly, after removing the particular property from the drawing, the same could not be removed from the take-off table. The same should be automatically removed with the deletion of the property.

• Advanced intelligent tools like giving an option for reading & measuring the areas from tabulated figures may be added, esp. for cut & fill areas.

• An option may be added for providing legends (Like which area & color represents what)

As a current user of Methvin, I can say that the TakeOff Tool is user-friendly where Sample works can be easily access along with the very Clear HELP Feature whenever I need training or I need to search for commands and procedures in the system, but they have to still do some fixing upgrades and add-on minor features such as AUTOCAD File Uploading, addition of apropos measuring commands such as pan and zoom function, full plan view function, measuring curvilinear lines, snap and ortho functions, ability to edit/add/delete points after measuring and the option to hide/show dimensions including measurement legends on plans and upgrade to include opening deductions in the Wall Area command measurement.
