For example, we wanted a “light user” license (view only or minimal editing) at a reduced cost, but that tier was not sufficiently flexible in the package options we reviewed. In my role as VP of Construction at M/I Homes, I’ve seen how much time gets wasted in preparing bids and tracking changes across teams. Methvin has helped reduce that wasted time. Using its project estimation and tender publishing features means we can prepare competitive bids more quickly. What do you dislike about Methvin? It’s not without hiccups. First, there is a learning curve especially for team members used to more basic tools or Excel. Some features like detailed report customization, mobile responsiveness, or integrations with legacy systems are less mature sometimes we have to do workarounds. Setting up custom workflows and templates takes some time, and new users often need guidance before they feel comfortable.
