"Easy to use, quick and reliable game changer"

What do you like best about Metaview?

I love that I can really focus on engaging with the candidate and what they are saying, while Metaview does the heavy lifting for me. I am also impressed with the quality of the notes considering we interview lots of people who don't have English as a first language. It is easy to use and works seemlessly with Teams. I use it for online interviews and face to face. I also like that I can go back into the assistant and ask specific questions about topics we discussed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

No downsides - it is performing really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

I love that you can make custum templates that will extract only the relivant information from the transcripts.

It is very easy to use and to get implemented.

The AI is very good at summarieing conversations into bite sized chunks.

You are able to compare multiple conversations and they have added anew feature where you can custom search all your conversations to find specific information which is great when it comes to monthly reporting.

It intergrates with PinPoint and auto joins any interviews I have.

My account manager (Cameron Goldie-Scot), is awesome and is always on hand for any support I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

Sometimes, the AI bot stuggles when someone with an accent is on a call.

We have it intergrated with PinPoint, but sometimes it randomly disconnects without warning and will not join/record the interviews it should (however, the support team are very responsive and always fix issues quickly). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

The softwsrs really helps to speed up hiring processes and to summarize the interviews that I’ve done. I don’t have to manually keep trying, and I can just spend my time and effort into really finding the best talent for my company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

everything is great about Metaview, but if you don’t ask me something that I don’t like, I would say that if Metaview has an app, you will be much more better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saves time and positively enhances hiring outcomes"

What do you like best about Metaview?

We really appreciate how this product enhances our ability to make objective hiring decisions. By allowing us to revisit past conversations, it helps us verify information rather than relying solely on memory, which adds a layer of fairness to our process. It's also versatile—we can use it not just for interviews, but for kick-off and debrief calls as well, which makes it a valuable tool throughout the hiring process. Additionally, we’ve noticed continuous improvements, like the recently enhanced filters, which make it even easier to gather insights and assess interview performance.

We’re also extremely impressed with the client support—it’s truly second to none. Whenever we have a question, the team responds quickly and is always helpful, making us feel well-supported. Additionally, it’s fantastic to see our feedback being taken on board and implemented swiftly with each product update. This responsiveness really sets the product apart and makes us feel like valued partners in its development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

One challenge we’ve encountered with the product is the manual effort required when it’s used to capture internal calls or meetings with multiple participants. In these cases, we often have to go in and manually tag each speaker, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, while the AI functionalities are quite helpful, they still require some human oversight to ensure the outputs are fully accurate and capture all the necessary details. For example, when using tools like the AI Assistant, additional prompts may be needed to get the most comprehensive results, which adds an extra step to the process. "Does everything that you want at great value!"

What do you like best about Metaview?

I use Metaview to capture interview notes as a Recruiting Leader. The note-taking capabilities are very accurate and it is very easy to sync Metaview with your calendar when scheduling (we use G-Suite) as well as your ATS (we use Ashby). I also appreciate the ability to summarize and condense notes after the conversation and the post-call analysis.

The support team is great, and they are constantly innovating and enhancing the functionality to best support their users.

I use it daily for my phone screen and panel interviews and it was very simple too set up and implement out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

There are some minor inaccuracies which you would come to expect from an AI-tool, otherwise, there are no significant flaws to the product.

As with any tool that captures personal information during interviews, there can be pushback both internally and with candidates opting in to Metaview recording that information. It would be great if there was future detection of sensitive/protected information so that it can mask or edit out that content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MUST HAVE for Recruiters!"

What do you like best about Metaview?

Without Metaview, I wouldn’t want to do any interviews! For a mere "funny money" investment of $20-60 a month, I get to enjoy pleasant chats with candidates without lifting a finger—well, almost!

This clever chatbot waltzes into every interview on its own (no invites needed, it syncs right from my calendar and is connected to the ATS). It takes notes, records video (in 32 languages, mind you!), and is like Fireflies, but supercharged for interviews. It even whips up a lightning-fast analysis and report based on my criteria.

I've got a preset report structure for the hiring manager that it fills out right after the interview (salary, motivation, why them?), I just add a sprinkle of cultural/team fit insights, and in 2-5 minutes, I have a polished email ready for the hiring manager. If I have any follow-up questions, I just ask the chatbot and boom—I’ve got the answer in a second! It’s an enormous help, everything in one place. It lets me conduct interviews from anywhere without a computer or notebook. I definitely don’t want to go back! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interview call information ordered how you want it."

What do you like best about Metaview?

As an Agency Recruiter I've found a lot of value in using Metaview for Pre-screen interviews, post-client interview feedback calls, and for references too. I like that you can create templates to pull and summarise the information from the call that you want and you can create custom template using natural language prompts. I use the TLDR function in formulating my candidate writeups to hiring managers. I can go back and find other information if needed and nothing from the call is missed. I have used the call verbal snippets function to send small parts of a call to a candidate or a hiring manager as additional verification of something too. After calling a candidate and discussing at length their considerations about a job offer I made quick template to highlight what the hiring manager should do to address all the candidate's drivers in terms of taking an offer. So its quite versatile I find, and the use cases are saving time, ensuring all relevant information is there when needed, and I can transparently and proactively share things that can help a hiring process progress when it could otherwise stall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

I want to be able to specify the gender of callers on call types that are Job Interview. Currently, you can only do this for calls that are Job Intrerview call types. Instead of calling everyone they I just change the call type to Job Interview and I can then assign speaker genders accordingly.

I want better text formatting within Metaview, e.g. making things bold or adding white space in the text outputs etc.

It would be good if you could make an export function in word that links to company templates and branding so outputs can be more quickly shared, edited in word (mainly for formatting), and quckly shared with a company branded document rather than a metaview brnaded pdf where I am unhappy with the text formatting. "Great Tool for Improved Interview Flow and Objectivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview has significantly streamlined my interview process. The AI assistant allows me to focus on having meaningful conversations with candidates instead of being distracted by typing notes. I can easily track key details like a candidate’s tech stack without asking repetitive questions, and Metaview captures the interview experience accurately—even for specialized terms I may not be familiar with. This tool has also helped me stay more objective by double-checking that candidates meet the skills we’re looking for, keeping my biases in check. The ability to review and access interviews conducted by my colleagues has also been invaluable in maintaining continuity, especially when taking over roles from other team members. What do you dislike about Metaview?

If I am being picky, occasionally, the wrong scorecard is pulled into Metaview, or not all fields are completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-Changing Interview note taker – Metaview is a Must-Have!"
5/5
What do you like best about Metaview?

What I love most about Metaview is its efficiency as an AI-powered notetaker. It seamlessly captures every detail of interviews, allowing me to be fully present and engaged with candidates, rather than worrying about taking notes. Metaview’s AI highlights key insights, making it easy to revisit important moments without sifting through hours of recordings. The summaries are organized, precise, and ready to review immediately after the interview, saving significant time in post-interview evaluations. This tool has truly streamlined our hiring process, improved accuracy in feedback, and enhanced the overall candidate experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

While Metaview is fantastic overall, I would love to see more customization options, especially in automating templates. It would be amazing if the AI could adjust the templates automatically based on the type of profile or customer I’m working with. This kind of smart customization would make it even easier to prioritize relevant insights and tailor feedback to the specific needs of each role. It’s a small area for improvement but would definitely enhance the overall user experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic, intuitive tool with a Swiss Army level of use cases."
5/5
What do you like best about Metaview?

The biggest win with Metaview is how much time it saves. Literal hours writing up candidate reports for clients—Metaview automates the heavy lifting, allowing me to focus on fine-tuning each report with the points I want to highlight for the client. It opens up my day to lots more higher-leverage work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

If I'm being picky - the templates are a few too many clicks away. It would be great to access and edit them via a central dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
