The quick alerts feature helps me to resolve data issues and making monitoring smoother. **What do you dislike about Metaplane?** Some alerts in Metaplane feel too sensitive in nature which create noise at times and a few advanced options need extra adjustment. **What problems is Metaplane solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metaplane helps me to catch the data issues early as compared which prevents broken dashboards. It alerts us before users notice issues. Due to this feature, it saves a lot of time by reducing manual efforts. ### 2. The ability to inspect into the tableau dashboards avoids running into subsequent issues where database changes break the dashboards. There are limitations, and presumably as Metaplane improves this functionality it will be better... **What do you dislike about Metaplane?** I am specifically using for introspection into tableau dashboards. I found the Metaplane UI to be very frustrating, with limited capabilities for search, filtering, and a lot of redundant results. Am confident these issues can be addressed by Metaplane engineering (mostly UI) and would result in an excellent tool that I would give even higher marks to. I hope Metaplane engineering makes these investments. **What problems is Metaplane solving and how is that benefiting you?** Identifying how database changes (renaming fields, dropping fields) may impact tableau dashboards downstream. ### 3. They engage in open dialogue and make their clients feel heard. The best part about them, is that they are just a slack message away when we want to reach them. **What do you dislike about Metaplane?** Our attempts to scale Metaplane and incorporate a larger portion of our critical areas for observation have been less successful. The tool's complexity has proven to be a significant hurdle, particularly for our non-seasoned users, making it harder for them to understand. **What problems is Metaplane solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our platform has many batch processes that leave an audit trail, and we're using Metaplance to provide us the quick insight we need on the status of such critical jobs. It's easy to setup such monitoring on metaplane, than use other tools to do the same job. Secondly, through creative observation checks, we observe our data to look for abnormalities, and meta plane makes it easy to incrementally improve the coverage of such checks. ### 6. We implements tests especially at the raw data level and then also leverage it's ablity to provide information on data lineage. ### 8.
