Metabase is easy to setup in your own local environment as well as cloud space. It has a very intuitive interface to setup queries, as well as a DIY interface for writing your own SQL queries. Additionally, the user based security feature really helps in segregating data between users. Data can be easily downloaded to csv, xlsx or pdf. Being java based, metabase can be a bit resource hungry, especially when complex queries are run. As of this writing, it does not parse json fields.
