Messagency is an AI agent that handles inbound customer conversations and books appointments for service businesses across WhatsApp, Instagram and website chat. The assistant replies to incoming messages in natural language, collects the details required to schedule an appointment, checks staff and slot availability, and confirms the booking without human intervention. It processes voice notes and images, applies tiered deposit rules, calculates travel fees for at-home appointments, handles out-of-hours surcharges, and manages rescheduling and cancellation according to each business's own policy. Requests that require owner approval are routed for manual review instead of being auto-confirmed. Messagency is built for appointment-based businesses such as salons, clinics, and studios, from single operators to multi-location teams. Capabilities include team scheduling, deposit and payment collection, conversation analytics, a mobile app for owners, self-learning from past conversations, and a white-label chat widget for larger accounts.
