"Streamlined 3D Modeling with Fantastic Unity Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I use Meshy for creating all my assets from scratch for my games because it's simply the best I've tried. Unless I missed one I have actively tried every 3d ai asset generator I could find. I love the fact that you can rig and animate inside Meshy, and the workspace is fantastic. It's more affordable than other AI 3D modeling services, and the quality of the assets is superior. Also the control over how the quality of each asset turns out is amazing. My favorite part is the easy bridge between Meshy and Unity, which makes exporting my 3D assets straight into Unity super easy. The process of setting up Meshy and linking it to my projects is super simple and takes just about three minutes, allowing me to get started with just one click. Additionally, I appreciate that they offer the software for free, which is amazing given the quality. It's worth every penny of the pro version, even though it can get expensive. What do you dislike about Meshy?

I haven't found any major issues yet. Price-wise, it kind of gets expensive, but other than that, it's worth every penny they charge for the pro version. and they offer so many ways to earn free credits and get you active with the meshy community. none of the other programs I have used offer all the features I would have too use 3 to 4 sites at once to get the same affect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very useful tool for creating 3D assets quickly"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

Meshy makes it much easier and faster to create 3D assets for game projects. The image-to-3D tool is especially useful because it can turn a reference image into a good base model without requiring advanced Blender skills. The interface is simple, texturing is convenient, and the generated models are often good enough to continue editing and use in Roblox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Meshy sometimes ignores small or repetitive details from the reference image and smooths them out, so several generations may be needed to get the desired result. Credits can also run out quickly while testing different versions, and buying extra credits is relatively expensive compared with the monthly plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, User-Friendly, and Full of Creative Potential"
4/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

What I like most about Meshy is how fast and user-friendly the platform is. It makes the creation of 3D models much more accessible and practical compared to traditional workflows. I can quickly prototype ideas, experiment creatively, and generate assets in minutes instead of spending hours modeling from scratch. The interface is intuitive, easy to learn, and very efficient for game development and concept creation. It feels like a tool with huge potential for both professionals and beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

The main downside is that the final quality of some generated models still needs improvement. Sometimes the topology, mesh cleanliness, textures, or finer details are not fully production-ready and require extra cleanup in external software. Certain complex prompts can also produce inconsistent results. However, the platform is evolving very quickly, and despite these limitations, I believe Meshy has enormous potential and is already one of the most exciting AI tools for 3D creation. "Excellent AI 3D Model Generator"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

Meshy has dramatically sped up my game development workflow. I use it to create prototype assets and game-ready models for Unity, and the quality is impressive. The text-to-3D feature is easy to use, generation is fast, and the models are clean enough to serve as a great starting point. It saves me many hours compared to creating everything from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Sometimes the generated topology needs manual cleanup, especially for animated characters. It would also be great to have more consistent results between generations and more control over small details. Overall, these are minor issues, and the tool keeps improving with every update. "Fast Concept Creation with 3D Models aSolves the first mile of the 3D pipelinend AI Images"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I use 3D models and AI images to create concepts and quickly see what my ideas look like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Honestly, the topology is the biggest one. The meshes come out as dense blob soup, no clean edge flow, which makes any serious follow-up work in ZBrush or for retopo a fight. You spend time cleaning instead of building.

Hard surface geometry is the other big weakness. Anything architectural, crisp panels, edges, joints, gets softened into a melted plasticine version of itself. It's clearly trained mostly on organic shapes, so for your sculptural architecture stuff it falls short exactly where you need it sharp.

The UVs are basically useless for serious retexturing. Auto-generated, splattered, and not friendly to clean multi-zone material assignments, which is annoying when that's the whole point of your workflow.

Refinement passes are also hit or miss. Sometimes they add nice detail, sometimes they smooth out the only parts of the first generation that were working.

And the credit system makes iteration painful when half your generations are throwaways, especially if you're trying to dial in something specific like the elephant anatomy or a complex multi-material sculpture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meshy.ai Makes Creating Accurate, Personality-Filled 3D Models Fast and Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I used Meshy.ai to create 3D models of my pets and people I know, and I was genuinely impressed with the results. The platform is easy to use, fast, and makes the process of generating 3D characters feel simple even if you do not have experience with 3D design.

What I liked most was how well it captured personality and recognizable details. Turning my pets and familiar people into 3D models was fun, creative, and surprisingly accurate. It is a great tool for experimenting with ideas, creating personal projects, or bringing characters to life without needing complex software.

Overall, Meshy.ai is a very useful and enjoyable service for anyone interested in creating 3D models quickly. I would definitely recommend it to artists, creators, game developers, or anyone who wants to transform real-life inspiration into 3D assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

There is nothing i dislike, the platform works well enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wonderful for Virtual and 3D printing Applications"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I can very quickly go from concept photo to final 3D product for use as a 3D asset in an iOS app, downscale 3D meshes very fast and with ease. I have not tried 3D printing yet but it can easily let you retexture and select the number of colors. Another wonderful feature is the ability to upload multiple angles to a piece for very accurate 3D reproduction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

I would like to be able to upload a photo And add a description as well as be able to highlight a portion of a 3d object when something is off and i need a regeneration retry most likely it is because there is only one single element that i want corrected. Being able to highlight that single portion in some way so that it keeps everything else exactly the same would be a great addition to the current toolset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Software Simple to Use and Quality Output that is perfect each time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

The ease of being able to take an image and convert it to a 3d rigged model for use in Unity. This is be far the most streazmlined process that i have been able to find. They are always putting out updates and trying new things which is a really nice touch because it allows you to have a sense of what direction they are heading in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

The only negative and i say negative loosely here because i think they just didnt come up with this yet is to give us the ability to setup a series of steps to link common actions together, this could be called a Workflow or even an App. For example i find myself always going through the same steps to go from a 2d image to a fully rigged with texture 3d model. Just make it a single button click for me and i would be happy. Sometimes its not quite clear as to what step i left off of when processing multiple characters at once. I m sure other people probably have similar ideas or wants of daisy chaining a couple steps together. I m careful to always bring a clean full body shot of the character and i trust meshy to end up with a full textured and rigged character in a tpose which is my most common action. The only other possible enhancement would be more animations, if i were you guys i would just hit maximo and have a bot or i would be happy to build one for you to have it go through all the maximo character actions and save one of each for you so that you have the most animations possible. The other thing youcould do is to hold a contest and come up with some prize for the top ten submitters to submit animations to you and the key here is to allow each person to submit more than one animation, the more3 they submit the mosst likely the higher number of points they will have and this would start up an animation frenzy where you could have all new animations being delivered to you by the people who make them and now you would have a full array of animations to offer. I would do this but i dont have as large of an audience as you do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-changer for independent devs: from concept to 3D in minutes"
4/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I used Meshy to develop my personal 3D projects, and it solves the problem of spending hours creating 3D models, making the process so fast. The accuracy in generating the exact or similar 3D design I envision is impressive and saves me a lot of time. I also value the remesh tool, which makes it incredibly easy to optimize models into low-poly assets with customized textures. The accuracy ensures I don't have to restart designs, allowing me to go from concept to a solid 3D base in minutes. The remesh tool is invaluable because it automates the tedious process of polygon reduction, making assets game-ready almost instantly. Integrating Meshy with Blender enhances my workflow by refining models and adding animations. The setup was very easy; I was up and running in just a couple of hours. The interface is so intuitive that there's almost no learning curve to start generating quality models. Furthermore, the pricing is very accessible and affordable, which is a huge plus for independent developers. I've been using it daily ever since discovering it, and it has been a game-changer for my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

The humanoid generation needs more precision, as it often requires manual fixes to look perfect. Also, the remesh tool's topology under the Ultra setting can be inconsistent, sometimes complicating texture application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Solo Game Designers"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I like how Meshy is easy for newbies, making it accessible for people starting out with game design. The 2D to 3D image converter is super useful, especially for beginners. It creates models in the background, which is a huge help when I'm preparing other mechanics in Unreal Engine. This feature is particularly valuable because it allows me to give an idea and have it worked on while I focus on other tasks. I appreciate this smooth integration into my workflow when working solo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

I don't have a lot of complaints, but I think Meshy could be a little cheaper. Also, it would be nice if there were more animations or if I could create custom ones for my project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
