The UX looks good. 1. Its easy to delegate the work. 2. Simple to track the progress. 3. The performance review portal is more like a Social media portal. Very fun to use. 4. Appreciation and feedback is boosting the morale of my team members. 5. Also, its easy to raise any concerns to HR or my reporting manager through the portal. **What do you dislike about Mesh?** Some of the features like setting goals and viewing each others reviews/ feedback is cumbersome. 1. It's very hard to set goals. 2. Giving percentages to the goals is not intuitive. 3. Including the goals in the self-review is even more difficult. **What problems is Mesh solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mesh is solving the employees performance review, appraisal documentation problem. Earlier we used to document the self performance review, manager's review and peers feedback in google sheet. Managing these google sheet is cumbersome because giving write access, comments access in google sheets is cumbersome. Mesh solved this problem. Mesh benefitted us in streamlining the entire performance review process. ### 2. On the first leg of our company's Mesh experience I filled out my self-review, and that interface, combined with the meeting that it informed, felt quicker and easier than previous self-reviews. **What do you dislike about Mesh?** Our second leg involved me reviewing members of my team, and we have spent more than a week trying to upload our entries. We have both lost our submissions several times; I cannot see team members' reviews even though they have been submitted, and my own reviews of them will not submit properly. This step has been completely unsuccessful so far and a big waste of time. **What problems is Mesh solving and how is that benefiting you?** It seems to give us a systemized process for reviews, and if it worked that would save time and make reviews less painful to get through, but so far that has not panned out. ### 3. We can decide the weightage percentage of various goals and rate ourselves accordingly which decided our final rating. We can request and give feedback for our Managers as well as peers confidentially and also take inspiration from other people's goals and tasks to fill the gaps in our own objective tracking. **What do you dislike about Mesh?** For Management it might be a good tool to manage OKRs and Employee KRAs but as an employee, I find it extremely challenging and redundant to use Mesh. First of all, the user interface is not user-friendly and there are a lot of misses from the product side. **Recommendations to others considering Mesh:** Mesh erases the dependency on excel sheets, recommended if your employee size is greater than 500. **What problems is Mesh solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mesh is used by the whole organization since it became mandatory for all the employees to record their Goals and tasks in Mesh as Google sheets did not serve the purpose anymore and it was becoming difficult for the HR team to manage all these sheets after the number of employees in the organization increased. Mesh covers all the aspects of Employee performance management in one place and helps ensure transparency and confidentiality. ### 4. Easy to find your performance results. **What do you dislike about Mesh?** Hard to find the info that we need, full of bugs, especially when you are managing a performance evaluation system. We don't use for KPIs/OKR and praises because it's just not useful for that for us! **What problems is Mesh solving and how is that benefiting you?** Performance evaluation. It has a lot of potentials but it doesn't deliver. We haven't seen yet the advantages of the platform ### 5. Mesh is a social performance management platform which means all my team members would be able to see any updates in my objective/goal's progress. The best part I believe is the transparency and confidentiality during 360 reviews which is very important for employees to give honest feedback to their managers. **What do you dislike about Mesh?** The adoption rate of Mesh among the team was really poor and the team members kept on complaining about the complexity of the tool and unnecessary features and certain mandatory but irrelevant fields while submitting peer and manager feedback. **Recommendations to others considering Mesh:** I did not find this software to be relevant and it also does not have a daily use case. It might come in handy several times a year which does not justify the cost we have to pay for its services at all. **What problems is Mesh solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mesh has helped us in better structuring and defining the company-wide Appraisal process. Now we have all the KRAs and employee performance updates along with the feedback of their peers in one place. This helps the management in better decision-making along with increased visibility for all employees. ### 6.
