What do you like best about MeritHub?

MeritHub is designed, engineered, and constantly optimized for virtual teaching. User-friendly, modern, sleek, innovative, and student-centered, MeritHub is the innovation teachers need!

Rather than using retro-fitted video conferencing software, educators now have the opportunity to use software created for students and teachers.

As educators, we know that student-centered, backward-planned design is the gold standard for teaching. As virtual teachers, we need technology that mirrors our best pedagogical practices.

What do you dislike about MeritHub?

I have used and trialed countless virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Tovuti, GoTo Meeting, Google Meets, Lessonspace, BrainCert, Neo, Matrix, Microsoft Teams); MeritHub is in a class of its own. It has all the features and functionality of the best every platform has to offer without the accompanying challenges other platforms struggle to address.

From immediately accessible customer support to transparent and accessible pricing, MeritHub meets the needs (and dreams) of educators. Students do not have to download software, accept cookies, or create user accounts; teachers don't need to either! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MeritHub solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have used MeritHub for an online virtual academy for grades 5-8 taught by high-school and college-aged students and coached by professional teachers across the country.

We realized all of the benefits of the best virtual teaching platform, along with the thought partnership, differentiated support, customized solutions, and rapid problem-solving of the entire MeritHub team. As we prepared to teach on MeritHub, we asked the MeritHub team if new ideas were possible; they made our ideas happen within days in time for the launch of our program. They knew our schedule, and they exceeded all of our expectations.

We have also used MeritHub for team meetings.

MeritHub features everything virtual teachers need - private and public chat, auto recordings, breakout rooms, attendance records, host and participant links, screen sharing, polls, and permission settings for participants.

MeritHub also features everything we didn't know we needed! MeritHub has an internal Drive of files ready to share with students. MeritHub allows us to open new whiteboards in a single classroom like a row of Chrome tabs; we can lead students from one tab to another or hide tabs from students. We can play music on one tab while solving problems on another. We can change the layout to show only students or only screens, and we can adjust the size of the gallery view and the screen view. To facilitate classes with the same number of features in Zoom requires two computers and three screens; in MeritHub, it is doable from a Chromebook or any computer at all. What do you like best about MeritHub?

I have been working with students virtually since 2014 and have experimented with and used several different applications. Our learners and instructors all agree that MeritHub offers the best experience to date.
