What I like best about IRIS CRM is its clean user-friendly interface with lots of categories and fields. The platform offers some customization options to tailor the system to our specific needs. At the time of this review, IRIS CRM is going through an upgrade from Version 1 to version 2, so it may take a little time for end users to get used to this upgrade. We used our own proprietary system to manage our merchant processing portfolio; however, we decided to sunset this system and look for a new one. Comparing IRIS CRM to our own in-house system, the new system is much more robust, bug-free, and has a lower cost to maintain. I do like the versatility of Merchant Relationship Management by NMI. It has a lot of features that are very useful. For instance, the ticket type creation is one of the most powerful tools on the operation side; although there were initially some misunderstood uses, once you build them out, it works really great. The email templates for automating communication are also valuable, helping us streamline interactions with merchants. These templates help automate a lot of communication, making the whole process more efficient and yielding good feedback from merchants. The ticket types are also versatile and expansive, with roughly 300 ticket types that I utilize, allowing us to manage the workflow better. Categorizing tickets is extremely valuable for pulling reports, and overall, email templates make communication very automated, which is extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Merchant Central by NMI? I think an area that could improve is creating a parent to child ticket relationship. Right now, if I have an item that needs to be worked on by multiple people, I have to create multiple tickets, which isn't efficient. It would be helpful to have a parent ticket that spawns child tickets for each group that needs to work on it. Once all child tickets are completed, the parent ticket would automatically close. Also, there's a lot of empty space when logging into an account, and it'd be great to see key details like the terminal type or pricing program without digging through tickets. NMI also lacks inventory management, so we have to use a third-party provider, which complicates managing applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
