In the mercer mettle platform, I like the facility of proctoring, in this platform, we can view the live activities of participants during exams which helps to examine the activities of the students in real-time, this gives transparency to exams for any institute. As there are no downfalls of this platform but sometimes due to network issues, the downloading time for a live video is very slow which should be improved. Sometimes many participants hide their screens during exams so this feature should be added to this platform so that participants are not able to hide their screens during the examination. 1. The thing that I liked most about the assessments is the flags. When proctoring for a larger group (say 50 or 100), it is not possible for the proctor to have an eye on every single individual. So the flags come to your rescue when the proctor understands something is wrong at a particular candidate's end.

2. The second thing is that appropriate flags are set for appropriate situations which gives the proctor an understanding of what cheating method is the student using or if not cheating at least what is wrong.

3. A recorded video and snapshots are stored at the end of the candidate's page which helps the corrector to understand if the candidate has cheated or not.

4. The freedom to stop/terminate a candidate's test when he/she is caught cheating.

1. A couple of things to point out here are that sometimes an additional person is seen peeping from the side of the screen and helping the candidate but no flag is triggered in such a situation.

2. The system does not grade the answer if the student has explained the process of reaching the answer. For example, suppose my answer is 27. The system will grade it correctly only if the student has written has 27 but if the student has mentioned the steps like 6+6+6+3+3+3 = 27, the system would not grade this answer. In a situation where the paper corrector is solely depending on the system for such assessment, he/she may miss grading the system.

3. No flags are triggered when a candidate is talking with someone.

4. Language is a barrier when a candidate could be talking in some other language but at least the flag can help in this situation.
