What do you like best about Mentimeter?

I love how Mentimeter makes the process of gathering information so seamless and professional, especially through anonymous polls. The user-friendly nature of the platform is remarkable, particularly because I'm not very tech-savvy. I find it incredibly intuitive and easy to set up, follow, and use, which alleviates the hassle usually associated with new technology. The ease with which I can collect the results is also a standout feature, as it helps maintain an organized workflow. Additionally, Mentimeter enhances the way I present, allowing me to appear professional and engage my clients more effectively. The exceptional quality of customer service further enriches my experience, making it a product I would confidently recommend to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

I think it is great - one thing that would help is when I am collating and downloading the information if I could do this with the more detailed information which shows how many people have voted, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactive and User-Friendly, Needs Navigation Tweaks"
5/5
What do you like best about Mentimeter?

I have been using Mentimeter for several years, and I find it incredibly valuable as a facilitation tool in workshops and meetings. One of the standout features is the anonymity it provides for participants to share their ideas and feedback candidly. This is particularly useful in capturing feedback that can serve as evidence or data for reports and presentations. I am impressed by its ease of use and the variety of interactive types it offers, making it engaging for my audience. The integration with other tools, especially PowerPoint, works well once set up, adding to the tool's efficiency. I really enjoy the quiz function and other interactive question types like multiple choice, ranking questions, and open-ended options. These features bring a fun and engaging element to presentations, keeping participants actively involved. The initial setup of Mentimeter was very straightforward, and this seamless start has positively shaped my overall experience with the product. I am so satisfied with Mentimeter that I frequently recommend it to friends and colleagues, rating it a perfect 10 on the likelihood to recommend scale. Overall, Mentimeter stands out for its excellent functionality and ability to adapt to various professional needs in meetings and workshops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

I find navigating between presenter mode and the tech side a bit clunky at times. Although PowerPoint integration works well once it's set up, the process isn't as smooth as I would like. I believe the instructions could be made easier to follow to enhance this navigation experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engaging, easy and always works"

What do you like best about Mentimeter?

What I like most about Mentimeter is how it makes it easy to get everyone involved without any awkwardness. You can throw in a quick poll, quiz, or open question and suddenly the room feels more alive — people actually want to participate. It’s super simple to use, even when I’m in a rush, and the visuals look great without any extra effort. I also appreciate how it works smoothly every time, whether it’s in a meeting, workshop, or presentation. It’s one of those tools that quietly makes a big difference in how people connect and communicate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactivity and Ease of Use, Although with Details to Improve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mentimeter?

I find Mentimeter very easy to use due to its clear and simple interface. I appreciate that the interface is familiar, which allows my students to use it seamlessly during university activities. Additionally, the simplicity of the design, where slides are not overloaded with unnecessary elements, makes the tool very effective for creating interactive classes. I also value that I did not experience any issues when setting up surveys, which allows me to conduct my sessions successfully. Overall, I consider Mentimeter to be a very useful tool. What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

Yesterday, when I used Mentimeter, I encountered a problem with the segmentation of responses based on a previous question; it wasn't working as before. The results were displayed on the screen when I had set them to be hidden, which I consider an issue that should be corrected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Boosting Engagement During Meetings"
5/5
What do you like best about Mentimeter?

Mentimeter is extremely user-friendly and makes it easy to engage participants in real time during presentations. I especially appreciate the variety of interactive features such as polls, word clouds, and quizzes, which help make meetings and lessons more dynamic. It’s very easy to set up and doesn’t require any technical skills. The clean design and ease of use for both presenters and participants are major advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

One downside is that some of the more advanced features are only available in the paid versions, which can be limiting for smaller teams or educators on a budget. Also, customization options for design and branding could be expanded. Occasionally, there can be slight delays or connection issues depending on the network. "Mentimeter: Engaging Tool for Class Participation and Fun Learning"
4/5
What do you like best about Mentimeter?

Mentimeter is an excellent tool for encouraging participation in class. I use it in both my online and in-person sessions, and my students appreciate having the chance to review material, play games, and enjoy engaging icebreakers. It really helps create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

Setting it up is quite cumbersome. I've noticed that the questions I previously created often don't function as well when I use the software again—sometimes features are removed, which means I have to redo my work. The overall experience feels very dull. While it's possible to add colours and backgrounds, doing so requires significantly more effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engaging Features, but Word Limits Hinder Depth"
4/5
What do you like best about Mentimeter?

I really like the active participation features in Mentimeter, including polls, graphs, and diagrams, as well as the anonymization of opinions. These features have been incredibly valuable in my seminars at the university. They allow students to feel confident to share their opinions without the pressure of being identified, which enhances engagement and class discussions. Mentimeter's interactive features also provide greater connectivity in class, enabling more meaningful interactions. It solves the challenge of coming up with new activities for each seminar by allowing me to use its open question and poll features to gather student opinions on topics without needing to conduct a full activity. This not only saves time but also encourages lively classroom discussions. Consequently, these features significantly benefit my teaching experience and are a key reason why I would choose Mentimeter again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mentimeter?

I find the word and character limitations on Mentimeter slides restrictive, which makes it difficult to explore topics in-depth during my seminars. This constraint forces me to limit the amount of information I can present, impacting the quality of my teaching materials. Additionally, I am frustrated by the software's requirement for images to be inserted using its own system rather than allowing for a more manual, flexible approach. Furthermore, I would prefer if Mentimeter could allow the presenter to identify the participants in polls directly, rather than requiring participants to fill out their information. This would help in creating more personalized interactions and understanding student engagement better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
