## About Menlo Security
Founded over a decade ago, Menlo Security is a global cybersecurity leader. Trusted by over 1,000 enterprises—including Fortune 500 companies and large government agencies—to protect eight million users, Menlo created the industry's first Browser Security Platform. Our platform transforms standard browsers into secure enterprise browsers using a synergistic architecture that combines local controls with the Menlo Secure Cloud Browser. Key capabilities include Adaptive Clientless Rendering (ACR) for safe cloud execution, H.E.A.T Shield AI to block zero-hour phishing, clientless Zero Trust access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) with Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR). Menlo delivers architectural immunity against evasive threats for both humans and autonomous AI agents. By solving the "Agentic Paradox," we prevent data exfiltration and block zero-day ransomware. Organizations can safely govern Generative AI, secure unmanaged BYOD endpoints, and replace costly VDI and VPNs—all without disrupting user productivity.

## Menlo Security Reviews
 ### 1. Strong Browser Security That Just Works Without Impacting Users That's Menlo Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward D. | Information Security Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

What I like most about Menlo Security is how easy it is to administer and how transparent it is to the end users. From an admin perspective, the management console is straightforward and intuitive, which makes it easy to roll out policies, monitor activity, and make changes without unnecessary complexity. Day-to-day operations don’t require constant tuning, which saves a lot of time for our security team.

On the user side, Menlo runs quietly in the background. Most employees don’t even notice that their browser traffic is being protected because there’s no noticeable impact on performance or browsing experience. This balance—strong security without disrupting productivity—is what really sets Menlo apart for us.

**What do you dislike about Menlo Security?**

There isn’t much to dislike overall, but if I had to point something out, it would be the initial setup and fine-tuning, especially around regional routing and localization. For organizations outside major regions, some websites may behave slightly differently at first due to cloud egress locations. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it does require some coordination during onboarding.

That said, Menlo’s support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve raised concerns, and once everything is properly configured, the platform runs very smoothly with minimal ongoing issues.

**What problems is Menlo Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Menlo Security addresses the risk of users unknowingly accessing dangerous or malicious websites. No matter how strong user awareness training is, there will always be cases where someone clicks a suspicious link or visits an unsafe site. With Menlo’s browser isolation and cloud-based protection, those threats are contained before they can ever reach the endpoint or our internal network.

The biggest benefit for me as an administrator is the confidence it provides. I have peace of mind knowing that even if users make mistakes while browsing, the organization remains secure. This allows us to focus less on reacting to web-based incidents and more on improving our overall security posture, while users can work freely without feeling restricted.

 ### 2. Transparent and Seamless Browser Isolation with User-Friendly GUI.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jomar A. | Information Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

What I like most about Menlo Security is how easy it is to manage and how seamless it is for end users. The admin console is simple and intuitive, so rolling out policies, monitoring activity, and making changes is straightforward. It doesn’t require a lot of day-to-day tweaking, which saves our team time and makes managing it much easier overall.

**What do you dislike about Menlo Security?**

There is very little to dislike, but the initial setup and regional routing can require some fine-tuning, especially for organizations outside major regions. This may cause minor website behavior differences during onboarding, though it’s not a major issue.

**What problems is Menlo Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Menlo Security protects our users from web-based threats like malware and phishing without getting in the way of their work. By isolating web activity, it lowers the risk of infections and suspicious downloads while still letting users browse normally. For our team, that means fewer alerts, fewer incidents to chase down, and more time to focus on other security priorities, all without users really noticing it’s there.

 ### 3. Effortless Security and Seamless Management with Menlo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

Been using Menlo for more than a year, it has been a smooth experience overall. One thing that really stands out is how security runs quietly in the background without affecting the normal browsing experience of users.

People can continue working as usual without constantly noticing restrictions or interruptions, while the organization still maintains strong protection against web-based threats. It creates a good balance between security and user productivity, which is something both users and administrators appreciate.

Another thing I appreciate about Menlo is how easy it is to manage. The interface is straightforward and not overly complicated, making policy changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting much easier to handle on a daily basis.

Compared to other security platforms that can sometimes feel overwhelming, Menlo is more intuitive and saves a lot of time for the security team.

**Reviewed by:** Micah D. | SR ASSOC-CYBEROPS & ASSURANCE, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

The solution integrates seamlessly with the end-user environment. Once deployed and fully implemented, it operates transparently with no user-experienced friction, enabling protection with a single click while maintaining normal workflows.

**What do you dislike about Menlo Security?**

In some cases, third-party sites or partners require source IP whitelisting to permit access. Because Menlo Security is cloud-hosted, obtaining a definitive list of originating IP addresses is not feasible. In these scenarios, we typically bypass Menlo for the affected use case.

**What problems is Menlo Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As part of our security program, user education around avoiding links—particularly from unknown or untrusted email senders—remains an ongoing challenge and is not always fully effective. Menlo Security helps close this gap by providing an additional technical control layer. When a user attempts to access a malicious site, the activity is automatically detected and isolated, preventing any malicious code from executing on the local endpoint and blocking malicious downloads altogether.

 ### 5. Unmatched Security for Safe Web Browsing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivor M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

I like the CDR feature for securing downloads and the phishing prevention, which helps when it is missed by some of our tools, especially when other users clicked on obvious phishing emails. It helped in preventing phishing by isolating web traffic, especially when a non-IT person clicks a link on a phishing email. The setup was easy, and we haven't encountered any issues.

**What do you dislike about Menlo Security?**

None

**What problems is Menlo Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Menlo Security to eliminate browser-based threats by isolating web traffic, securing our network, and reducing phishing and DDoS attacks. The CDR feature helps secure downloads, and phishing prevention aids when other tools miss threats, especially if a non-IT person clicks a phishing email.

 ### 6. Great Protection Without Slowing Us Down - Menlo Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carll L. | Tech Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Menlo Security?**

What I like best about Menlo Security is that it keeps our computers safe when we use the internet. It opens websites in a safe place in the cloud instead of directly on our computer. This means if a website has a virus or something bad, it cannot reach or harm our system.

It also works very fast. When I open websites, they load normally, and I do not feel any delay. Most of the time, I don’t even notice that Menlo Security is protecting me in the background.

Another thing I like is that it helps stop phishing and dangerous links. This makes it easier for our team to work safely without worrying about clicking the wrong website.

Overall, Menlo Security makes browsing the internet safer, easier, and worry-free.

**What do you dislike about Menlo Security?**

One thing I dislike about Menlo Security is that sometimes a few websites do not work perfectly. Some pages may look a little different, or certain buttons may not work the same way as usual. This can be confusing at first.

Also, sometimes files take a bit longer to download because Menlo Security checks them first to make sure they are safe. This is good for security, but it can slow things down a little.

Another small problem is that it can take time to learn how everything works, especially for new users or administrators. There are many settings, and it can be confusing in the beginning.

Even with these small issues, it still does a very good job of keeping computers safe.

**What problems is Menlo Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Menlo Security helps solve the problem of dangerous websites, viruses, and phishing attacks. Sometimes, people may click on a bad link by accident. Without protection, this can harm the computer or steal important information. Menlo Security stops this by opening websites in a safe place in the cloud, so the bad content never reaches our computers.

This benefits us because our computers stay safe even if someone clicks the wrong link. It helps protect important business data, passwords, and customer information.

It also gives peace of mind. Our team can browse the internet, check emails, and do their work without worrying as much about security threats. This helps everyone focus more on their job instead of worrying about getting hacked.

Overall, Menlo Security makes our work safer, reduces risk, and helps prevent security problems before they happen.
